Aubin Hill talking about the JLP government contribution to the movie. But we still remember that it was the JLP government that murdered over 100 Rasta men in the Coral Gardens Massacre in 1963. He should be ashamed to be even mentioning anything about JLP and politic at this event.
This has to be one of the best Onstage I’ve seen, really enjoyed it that I’m going to watch it again. The band was on point, the singers were great and as for the ladies amazing voices, both absolutely gorgeous.
I have only seen the snippets of the Bob Marley movie but I think it would be great if a family member with much closer looks to Bob himself took the role as Bob Marley in the movie but it looks like there is no actors in the family and as I pointed out I am yet to watch the movie and I don't mean to underrate Kingsley Ben-Adir I am very sure that he wasn't chosen by chance. I hope he makes it a great movie.
Well done 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾… One of the best renditions done Onstage, Big up to the Bands, the Back Up Singers, and of course the two artists, job well done again I must say, Mr Williams you did well again 👏🏾.
Back in the days when I was a young Man living in New York I still remember listening to the radio hearing that BOB MARLEY had passed away i will never ever 4get that moment.....!!!
Great red carpet coverage of the One Love, Bob Marley movie. Winford Williams the host asked all the right questions, the production by the OnStage crew was excellent but the only let down was that not all the interviewees were name captioned and job titled to indicate who they were for those of us who were watching outside of Jamaica.
Bless up all in this especially Abijah and Richard Kanary Sing the icon!!!!! Yes!!! Apprecialove, Family! My favorite Onstage, my favorite movie, my favorite show! Bless up, keep shining Winford Williams. We need Roots Reggae and Bob Marley's music more now than ever. Apprecialove, a dream come true for my nephews, Aston, Jr. John, and Tony. Blessings Higgs Barrett Family. Wish I had been there for this but met you all in the past few weeks and reunited with others. One love, fitting tribute for our Reggae Royalty! Blessings epic living legend Dr. Rita Marley, OD ❤💛🖤💚💯💥👏🙏🦁🎶🔥👑👑🎓🌎
Iam so happy i'm alive to hear about it iam waiting to go on see it when it open to the public in jamaica please it out on tv so ican cometo kingstin❤❤❤
Funny how all government ppl come out n well represented, talking shit n Dem Neva like Bob n him rasta philosophy, mi can here Bob saying ( I don't specially dig Dem guys deh)
Why did the young politicians had to come & talk about the one billion dollar investment. Sometimes its good to be quiet about what is spent. A guess Babsy & PM never teach him the game.
Why are there so many politicians there. All of a sudden oonu love rasta, especially the jlp. All of you politicians fight reggae we can't even keep up our reggae culture any more because if we turn on a radio you POLITICIANS, send police to come lock it down and seize the equipments. Leave reggae music alone all of you politicians if it was for you politicians reggae music would be no more. Foreigners support reggae not you jamaican politicians and if it was for you Bob Marley would be less than a memory today. Every other country is doing what we started with reggae taking away our reggae and is successful in doing so, the sound system with big speaker boxes in jamaica all that is gone thanks to you politicians, many other countries are doing that now. LEAVE REGGAE ALONE YOU FIGHT REGGAE TOO MUCH!!
Some will hate and pretend they love and behind you dem susu pon you.See the hypocrites dem a galon dey.Bob did done sing bout all of you.Remember when they put a banned on BOb songs
I wonder how much of the proceeds will go to the Jamaican people who are in need ? Bob would have made sure that some poor people eat a food out of it!!!!
Yu know what I feel in my heart, Rita and Ziggy saw Bob Marley as their giant, they couldn’t find an actor of that statue, so they just satisfied at 6 feet plus tall…🤓😇😁 The movie/documentary opened my eyes to see his humbling beginning, and Rita was there for him to death and beyond…”Big Up, Rita”!! Putting the dots together, now I see why Bob wrote. “No Woman No Cry”… About Ms Cindy Breakspeare,, “I prayed for her”.. her heart is gripping with sadness and envy, she spoke and acted like she is Mr. Bob Marley’s wife, and Rita is one of the baby mama. Seeing in the movie, she has been following Bob around and everywhere, got pregnant, and maybe thought he would have left his wife, “Rita” to marry her..not knowing that Bob planted his roots inside Rita until his death..and beyond..!! Putting the dots together,, Now I see why he wrote.. “Pimper’s Paradise”..!! “Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”” Matthew 19:6 NLT One Love..!!
Have to laugh these government leader's never even liked Rasta people, neither the regular person's never liked them. Pure hypocrite on that island, Bib had to run to England to practically save his life. England people loved Bob with the power if Chris Blackwell. I cannot blame Rita taking away herself from Jamaica living in Ghana. I don't understand they could of use Jamaican actor's??.Except Damian Marley is the most talented one of all, the rest of them living in the life of Bob. If it was not for Bob they could never reach any top. Gong is the best out of them all., Jamaican poor people still in bandage So Andrew find a billion dollors, but cannot help the poor citizen's of Jamaica. It should be a black Jamaican production, alway's the master benefit from our people. Im so sorry going on but i feel our black people pain, and being used by these system. I will go and watch it, hopefully i don't have to Wait In Vain.🇬🇧🇯🇲🧐
In Latin America, the full legacy of Bob's music is still alive, fully alive. I was Raised with Bob's music and then discovered dancehall in my early teens, organically, pure flow. We love it, we dance it. We live it as you know, we dig it to the core. Jamaican music and art are universal and timeless and by now it is global!. It has been adopted and enjoyed all over Latin America and beyond before I was born. But I have to say I found it despicable, outrageous, dishonest and offensive not just to me but to the memory of Bob, but to Jamaicans and Latin Americans this betrayal of those who let in or invite the petty little king, son of the king of no one, who represents and is the filth of the earth, the looters, tax evaders, the slavers, the thieves, the killers of kids, aunties grandmas and dads, the timeless enemies of our people. Why are they let in as "stars" in a gathering of this importance? I mean how dare they? Do these scumbags have any shame or know any history? Obviously, they don't, they go around with their bodyguards, guns and golden crowns. They still push us around. But we know who they are and what they and their ancestors are and represent, and how they get to go everywhere like this.! Bob Marley's Legacy is a true legacy. Spiritual and cultural. Unlike the little king, the king of no one and his filthy smell of death, oppression and parasites!
CAN THIS COME OUT OF THE USELESS DANCEHALL MUSIC YOU WORSHIPED. YOU ALWAYS DON'T WANT TO PROMOTE ROOTS REGGAE ARTIST WHICH BOB MARLEY SPEARHEAD. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE IS THIS GATHERING MADE POSSIBLE BY DANCEHALL ARTIST.
Everyone who was interviewed was a delight to listen. Except i left when a certain man came onlol😂. Anyway, i am convinced the v people who criticise the movie are buttu to the Arts
Alot of Jamaica people do not like Rasta they are now capitalizing off of Rasta culture and music because of the people that are not Jamaicans that love Rasta culture and music and support it to the top to where it is now those Jamaicans who never did not like Rasta now want to claim it as a Jamaican thing so why back then wanna criminalize and brutalized Rasta wanna pork mouth we know wanna wanna can't hide
Aubin Hill talking about the JLP government contribution to the movie. But we still remember that it was the JLP government that murdered over 100 Rasta men in the Coral Gardens Massacre in 1963. He should be ashamed to be even mentioning anything about JLP and politic at this event.
Bob Marley's name has been overly exploited, to the point where whenever I see it, I automatically think financial exploitation.
I must say, this is the first time, the backup singers, sound good. In great, harmony. One love, always
Why fighting to get someone to play the character with the language when you’re Jamaican origin language play apart😢
Not leaving out the back up singers. Love and respect

The band was on point, the singers were great and as for the ladies amazing voices, both absolutely gorgeous.
Crazy how the same people who fight Rasta the hardest are the same ones walking that red carpet
Not the same people but the same system
@@DaveSalmon-on2dv They support the system so same thing 🤷🏽
Fi Real😮
Bob Marley has become part of the Elite as a brand (monetization) but Rasta in itself is not part of that system and is still not accepted..
And also he still cannot be National hero

I was living in Toronto, Canada, in 1980 when Bob Marley was at the hospital and passed away it was a very sad day.
Bob did not pass away in 1980.Bob passed away on May 11 1981 three months before I came to the USA.
