Should a man wear a suit EVERY day? Comment below!
I will be wearing a suit everyday working at Barclays Bank Plc starting 5th Nov 🤘🏼
Sometimes if the weather is right
No. There should be at least 1 day break.
Hell yeah brother, it's gangster wearing suits 🕴
Lad!
Studies have shown wearing a suit changes the way we think
References?
@@CommentYoutamlapthis is probably what he is referencing. www.sciencealert.com/research-shows-wearing-a-suit-changes-the-way-you-think
Explain please
I love how Antonio somehow always collaborates with some of my favorite UA-camrs!
Who do you want to see next on my channel?
Real Men Real Style Alex costa or marcel floruss?
I like the idea of a uniform. I have since my school days. Growing up poor, wearing a uniform helped me focus on my education as opposed to what I had on or couldn't afford to wear. Now, the time saving aspect is a huge plus to someone who is extremely busy. I love to dress nice but the idea of streamlining my work wardrobe is intriguing.
Our ancestors (some) kind of knew these things. I see an old man every day walking down the street wearing a different suit, one for every day of the week; gosh, he must be about 90 years old. He dresses up just to go to McDonalds to have breakfast. 😉
ValleyboyGamer Those are good habits. I’m afraid that in 50 years, grandpas will be wearing skinny jeans, haha!!!
Frank Pichardo I’ve never worn that, and if I live that long, I still won’t
@@frankpichardo5299 😂 ripped at that
No shit.
I knew an old timer who wore a colorful pimp suit on the corner of 13th amd broadway in Oakland California. I never saw him wearing the same suit twice.
How is he any different than an old guy in rags eating at McDonald's?
I started wearing a suit and tie everyday a year ago everytime I go out in public. The results have been so different compared to the tank top & basketball shorts I used to wear haha
I know what you mean. I started wearing a suit and tie more often a few years ago, and I probably get the sames results you do. To be honest, putting on a well tailored suit, clean shirt and a good tie, just feels really cool.
Yall get more pussy? I’m 20 and I’m thinking about changing my style. It’s mainly for the female right now, lol I did say I’m 20. But yeah what’s the word?
(At work)
I got the idea of a uniform from this channel. I used to wear different color shirts/parts every day and it would sometimes be stressful choosing. Now all i wear are white shirts (with an occasional light blue or gray) navy/dark pants a vest and a tie.
Everyone always comments on how good i look, but it's basically the same thing every day minus the tie. Liberating. Easy.
If i do decide to switch it up (for whatever reason: rain mostly), I feel completely uncomfortable and people notice the change.
Thanks.
There are lot of stories about men who put on a suit and immediately got huge respect from others, although they have not changed anything else, so a sui is extremely important
Jeremy is an icon in a suit in any place 🤘🏼
It depends on his life and the way he wants to express himself!
So fucking true.
I found a specific suit I liked and bought 5 of them - identical. Every pocket exactly the same so every accessory or tool fits exactly the same place on every suit. FYI - also replace all white shirts, socks, and underwear in quantity (identical) and throw out the old. I can get dressed in complete darkness and get it exactly right every time! OK, only two pairs of matching shoes with a third option depending on where I will be walking that day. When my employer is talking about dressing properly, they always refer staff to me. It is not boring to be predictable in your attire. Let your uniform set a standard of expectation - then let your personality take over. And yes, people are a lot more responsive to me in my black suit uniform. Interactions on the street changed immediately AND my employer greatly expanded my role within 2 weeks of adopting this uniform. Simplify your life with a good uniform.
No purple tie or any other colors? No different suit colors ? Get real
When flying (the modern day Greyhound Bus), try dressing well instead of… “for comfort”. Once one experiences how much better one is treated, it will become clear why frequent business travelers often choose to “dress-up” for travel.
What we wear daily is critical towards people taking us seriously or not in the workplace.
It also makes everyone look the same and one-dimensional
@@Gamefreak924 Not women tho
Was wondering about this question too. Am glad you adDRESSED it here. Love your channel, RMRS.
Happy to hear it helped. Thanks Rejoy.
A good uniform, especially a suit makes you look like a professional and gives you an authority position.
yeah ! Your Alpha Dude........suit is kinda lingerie for men......
Definitely true, but you can overdress in certain environments. I remember over dressing, and wearing a tie to a training class and felt very out of place.
I can honestly see local affordable tailors coming back into the high street! Look at something like wet shaving, where I live in the past you’d have to go to a high end area such as Mayfair London UK in order to get a shave from a barber with a cut throat razor!
Now you can get that in every town in my country for a really affordable price! The same could happen to bespoke tailoring!
Boys listen, I work in the emergency medical field, also previously military. On my free time when I go out into town or whatever, I wear suits. It changes your mindset, it makes you have more respect for the world, it makes you feel powerful. And you don't have to wear a full suit, even dress pants, dress shoes and a nice button up can rock the show. And the respect people will project towards you is astonishing
Hitman Style
Man I think its so great when Jeremy and Antonio collaborate on videos. Great input from both ends. (Thumbs Up)
This reminds me of Barney...
SUIT UP.. 😂😂
😂
I do think a lot of people over-analyze the colors on a suit. I know there's certain subconscious ideas given off by certain colors but I don't think that's always the case. If I saw a green tie versus a red tie, I doubt it would have much influence on any decision I make that day.
His suit is so tight that the shirt buttons are about to come apart at the bottom! I love slim fit but woah chill out lol
Totally agree!
I always had wish that men would wear more suit. If you look at old news reels you’ll see men in suits at a baseball game or a football game it seems like years ago man would dress a lot better no saggy pants no seeing anyone’s underwear. it just seems so much more classy and that’s kind of how I try to try to dress. There is a time and place for everything but at same time I always prefer dressing in suit. It looks classy if nothing else
Antonio you rock!.
*Suits not Suites.
A suite is
(a) musical composition
(b) An apartment or office building consisting of a series of connect rooms.
(c) a 'group following' of an important person
(d) A matching set of furniture
I agree, but they can become very uncomfortable. They're also much more expensive than they used to be and and things can spill on them at those types of settings. It does make more sense to dress casual at a football game, and wear suits in a business environment.
I have one year left in college at my school and considering whether if I should wear a suit or street wear. I say considering because I want to change my wardrobe like you. It will make me feel smart and competitive among the elite students at the university.
Not trying to be political but that "Trump Republican" look is amazing. Blonde-ish hair and the red tie adds a vibrant spark to the usual "bland" uniform.
Hey there!! Great info!! I will say, I learned years ago the color of your tie, will set your tone, as well as the tone of where you are going to!
Well done gentlemen! Thank you both!!
I want to be invisible how do I do that ?
Jeremy and antonio, two of the best style channels on youtube
I always like the uniformity of wearing a suit during the business week; it keeps me alert.
I do too. Sometimes I like to get dressed up in a suit and tie and go out to the city . Not to impress anybody, I just like to look sharp.
God, Jeremy’s English gets better every video.
Antonio & Jeremy 💪🏻 best duo !
Pre-COVID I was going to work every day with a Miami Vice outfit. Matching suit jacket and pants with a pastel T-shirt of some sort. It elevates and defines you nicely in the workplace.
Yeaaaa bring that shit back 👊
Thank you for this video it actually changed my mindset im from a small industrial town in england where you dont see people in suits often and so ive always wore really laid back casual clothes with 1 suit that i use for every single event i go to and after stumbling accross your video online i decided i would wear a suit everytime i leave my flat so i saved up some money and went out to some designer shops and picked up a few suits ranging from smart casual ones to really smart ones.
Day 1 i put on my suit and left the door and i felt really awkward questioning my decision as i was only heading into town to pick up a few bits and i would usually just throw on a hoodie with jeans and a pair of trainers not really caring how they looked as i was not planning on taking long until i went into a food outlet to get some dinner and the attractive girl behind the counter complimented me on my outfit and after a couple of minutes of conversation as no one else was in there i managed to get her phone number
As the days and weeks went on and i carried on wearing my suits everyday i noticed that unlike before people would actually engage in conversation with me on a more regular basis and they looked at me differently but in a good way its hard to explain unless you experience it yourself
And the magical question for guys i noticed that women would smile at me more whilst passing them by in the street or sat in a pub/bar on a weekend it was also a lot easier to engage in conversation with women and yes i did end up going on more dates than when i was not dressing like this
Final Verdict
Theres just something about a suit guys whether its a smart/casual one or just a straight up smart suit it does something i will not go back to how i was dressed before and my mates did notice and did have a bit of banter about my new dress sense but that soon passed as they got used to it
Its hard to explain but people just react better to a guy in a suit if the weather was nice outside i would not wear a jacket/blazer i would go with the sleeves rolled up and a thinner material shirt
That lowest button barely hold on when not covered with necktie :D 1:06
One more great video Antonio ! Don't forget about my sugestion of the "evening routine" video ! Thanks for all the atention !
Filipe - Great seeing you here again. I've already added this to my queue.
I'm a huge fan of your channel Sir , and your videos teach me a lot ! ( Sorry about my English , i'm from Portugal 😅)
You guys are awesome, I don't wear suits too often, but definitely see Jeremy's point
I have a $1000 talia uomo suit and this guy on here thinking people are too broke for suits lol. I guess with the plastic surgery he feels like a god among everyday people.
I wear suits when I can. I love it because it makes me feel more confident.
Women Logic af:
Smoking a cigarette in suit: "That guys kool I wonder what he does"
Smoking cigarette in regular clothes: "Uh ew gross that guy is nasty"
this
as a young men, you are one of my mentor, thx you antonio
Should we wear a "suit" every day? No, not necessarily, but we all have some type of "uniform" whether official or not that we wear -- our "look". But I like your closing comments, Antonio, which is "just think" is the real answer to your question. Be *intentional* regarding what you wear, making it appropriate to the occasion or audience.
He looks sharp.
Do a video on how he get's his hair like that!
great video! i know he is in the thumbnail but you should put jeremy's name in the title as well ;)
I don't have a job but I love wearing a suit
Smart uniform all through school white shirt grey trousers grey jumper blue blazer red tie. Left school work as an accountant. White shirt tie suit everyday without fail. Top button always done up. Tight collar. Tie always straight. Always three piece suit cufflinks braces double cuffs
Antonio, do you recommend to wear suits in all professional situations? At the office I work for only the bosses wear suits...
I am a professional buyer in an international big company
I’m a start doing this cause I’m religious. I been fighting it but time to embrace it.
I usually just wear a button up shirt and waistcoat with a Silver pocket watch and plain black Levi jeans or striped black suit pants more of an American cowboy dressed up or Australian stockman. I usually make sure I dress it up more like a suit when I need to for specially occasions or going out to a restaurant. I just don't think I have a need for a suit. Except a shirt vest and pants still a half suit. Paired with a particular hat mainly a plain black sorta dressy cowboy hat.
After law school is suits everyday except weekends ;)
This helps Mr.Antonio. Thank you.
Haha, it´s funny what he says about wearing the colors he does... I´m kind of the opposite in that if I didn´t wear some sort of fun color in there, I doubt my own family would recognize me. In fact, I remember having some shirts I hadn´t worn in a while which were white, one was black, etc... my family and friends refer to those couple weeks of me getting some wear out of them, as my "Emo Phase."
Love you sirr. Love from India . Your simplicity is one of your best features . Amazing Collab with Jeremy sir . He's also very cool . Proud to see you together .
PS: when will you announce the giveaway results of your Mahi leather bags?
Great advice.
Good video Thanks!!! 👍
Jeremy's suit is very very tight, i like slim fit dress either be formal or casual but his suits are very tight to be a good fit. Looks more like cheap sales representative rather than someone more accomplished person. My opinion maybe im wrong.👌👌
Alamin Dhali Good point. I think he carries himself much better than a cheap sales rep but I agree when you see him you don't feel he's wearing a really good expensive suit
Yes, you are not wrong. He obviously likes the slim fit vibe. It is just what you personally prefer, but a classic fit never goes out of style.
@@DennisDuda I like slim fit too and maybe it's not the fit, I don't know, but even though something about Jeremy seems classy his look in his suit doesn't look expensive to me even if the suit is bespoke if it wasn't for his natural good looks I think he might look like a cheap salesman
Tight suits are more popular in Europe that's why
It's not the so much the fit, but rather the outfit itself. It is simply boring and pedestrian. Solid white dress shirt, solid silk tie, solid shiny black suit with a TV fold pocket square... There are zero creativity or effortless elegance.
@RMRS whats the name of the watch in the Intro? Looks so nice!
I want to know your point of view on suitsupply. Do you think they make quality suit ?
Barney Stinson approves.
Haha :) For sure!
My friend works on a construction site. I don’t think it would meet OSHA rules.
I have went suit crazy since my first tailored suit.
Same here
@@azrahashfaq6252 something about it makes me have a satisfying feeling like i just got done doing the nasty 😂.
I know, I want to wear suits daily but my parents discourage me to do so. I might just go with my guts this time and wear a suit. Whenever I wear a suit I get a treasure chest full of respect shot at me and I adore it.
I like the way & direction Mr suit moves to at 2:48.
Hmmmm, Perfect for driving a forklift in a warehouse while wearing mandatory high visibility work wear and work boots!
I work in an office too but it is totally impractical for me to wear a suit to work, especially when you take into account what I say above. I love dressing sharp in a good suit but not good in my work situation. I think your vlog fails to take this into account. Odd given you used to be in the military and would have been in different garb in different situations.
It took me a minute to get that this was the Fragrance guy on youtube. My regards to Jeremy.
I do like the look of a well-tailored suit on a good-looking guy. But there's the problem of when you're not in such great physical shape, the suit is not always the most flattering outfit to wear. Also, there are some guys who live so much in their suits that it shows - they're crumpled and perhaps even slightly dog-eared! If you wear a suit, you have to keep it pristine.
Yup. Taking care of your suit is very important. Otherwise you lose the whole point of looking sharp.
What are the top 5 suit colour
1 BLACK
2 Charcoal GREY / GREY
3 Navy BLUE
4 ? and 5??
I like out of the ordinary so mine are 1. Mid Blue 2. Brown 3. Olive 4. Grey 5. Any other unusual colour
Brown
I want to wear a suit more often but it gets hot outside
Very helpful,Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
Can i wear a suit as an 18 year old
Only if you want unlimited puccie.
Really nice blazer for his slim frame.
IMO, it's always better to dress up than it is to dress down. People say dress for the occasion, and I agree. But if you can be the best dressed for said occasion, and that occasion is suit friendly, why not? Dressing up is safer than dressing down unless you are at some pool party or something.
What brand of suit is it I really want to know. It's a dark dark black
Me personally, I see a lot of films that take place in "ye olde days" and every man wore a suit and a hat. All women wore dresses and carried purses and hats. There were very clearly defined social and public mores, a defined code, that people followed. And I think the simple act of dressing well is a system of discipline. Our modern society is lacking that, there's been a major relaxation of discipline and expectations when it comes to the social sphere. Just walk into Google on a Tuesday and you'll see what I'm talking about. Brilliant people but you'd never know if they're VP's or from the mailroom because they're all dressed the same.
I think people started to dress casual because they wanted to be comfortable. Although suits look great they can become very uncomfortable, they're also very expensive now. I'm assuming they were less expensive in the 30s and 40s, but I could be wrong.
If the occasion and the place matters, he shouldn't be constantly wearing suits, like he described at the start.
Man, that guy looks sharp.
at 4:12 it looks a little bit more like mcway falls california than ibiza 😉
What brand is Jeremy's suit and tie?
Was geht jeremy✌🏻
The the Blazer is perfect for night life and regular suit are good to wear in the casino right?
you remind me of a young tom branson he was whining about needing a coat to dine with the dowager.
When will you announce giveaway of mahi leather bags.??
We'll contact the winners this week in the comment section.
@@RealMenRealStyle Thank you so much sir
Jeremy is wrong, I wear White dress Shirts on Monday, Blue Dress shirts on Wednesday and Pink Dress Shirts on Wednesday and works for me.
Variety yet uniforms.
and yet the woman go to the same office wearing fuck me high heels and tight short skirts and low tops sexualizing themselves. so how does this work in your theory ? explain .
Instead of relying on class, they rely on azz. Trashy.
No purple tie ?
Good thing this video never showed when I was being overly crazy
I want to wear a suit everyday but at my workplace, colleagues of my cadre don't wear suits. Its the higher cadre that do. So I feel awkward even though its a good enough paying job.
If I were a teacher with lower pay, I'd wear a suit everyday.
I think what sums this up best is that fipm with Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway, (the title of which is escaping me) where he goes to work for her at her new age, highly technologically advanced fashion company and he is the only one wearing a suit every day to work. It seems weird and unnatural to all the young(er) employees, but it's a symbol of professionalism.
Good one!
This is A good video
Antonio, watch this video when your friend's tie shows his shirt close to his belt, the gap between buttons is not flattering. Let him know his shirts are too tight around his waist.
So should we have a standard uniform for everyday?
yes at least underwear and top dressing otherwise it's indecent exposure.
Question: "Wear a suit everyday?"
Answer: *If you want to look nice everyday*
It depends what you do
What do you about a guy who’s wearing BATIK?
I shop for my boyfriend who is a lawyer, this is helpful
The fit of the suit is not spectacular, specifically in the area of the jacket’s collar, the tie has no dimple, and the shirt seems to be a bit too slim, and lacking collar stays. Great initiative, though when talking about authority and power, such flaws should not exist.
The suit is great. Hush up nitpicker
#fragrancearmy
Fragrance Army!!!!
Nice suit
Suit up :)
No matter what nothing gets closer to suit ?
Suits are nice to wear for the right occasion but they're actually overrated on daily basis. There're as many people (if not more) who dislike the suit style and connotation as people who like it. Rule of thumb, dress for the occasion, and for the intention (in the case of Jeremy, for business marketing purposes).
Very interesting. Humans have alot more than five senses though.
