I still remember playing Completing the Mission for the first time when it initially came out (before Among Us was popular), seeing the Among Us ejection fail, and going "huh, wonder what that was supposed to be referencing? maybe that one jackbox game, push the button? weird, wonder why they'd reference something that specific".

I played Among Us for the first time in 2019 with a friend, it was just a cool mobile game i discovered. There was a guy called "Gamer69" who, somehow I JOINED LITTERALY EVERYTIME, and for some reason he said whatever my color was everytime and i got voted out half the time for no reason. That was a weird encounter that day

The Among Us spike on Twitch started in July 2020 and Completing the Mission released August 2020. Just saying, you literally could not have possibly played CtM before Among Us was popular

I like the realism of between when he helps Ellie and when he left her there. When you leave her there, you get up anyway and you are able to hear more of the conversation because you didn't waste time pulling the other up.

Man it's so crazy to me that all of a sudden these Newgrounds things are coming back. Newgrounds was my go to website before UA-cam even existed, back in the Windows XP days (I had no interest on the Internet in the Windows 98 days, just in games, which came in floppy disks lol) seeing all these children talking about Pico and Tankman, and now seeing Henry Stickmin as well, it's pretty surreal. I thought the death of Adobe Flash would've really sealed the deal on any chance these characters had to make some sort of comeback, but here we are.
I loved these games so much as a kid, the nostalgia is unreal.

Rewatching someone play this hellhole of a game brings me joy more than looking at social media and following trends. When this came out, I enjoyed playing it, then I saw countless videos of people playing it and the dopamine wore away quickly. It was nice relooking at this game after taking a break from it.
