id say merryweather heist stands to remind all the main dudes that they actually need a lester to keep the shit together. Which kinda by extension helps justify him in game because the player could vaguely understand that resetting the status quo would take quite a bit of work

This. I've played the campaign through 4 or 5 times and I've gotten more information about the story through these videos than playing the game. While otherwise this kind of storytelling could be genius, giving small snippets and hints about character all the time, this style does not really lend itself well on this type of game. The information given is almost always insignificant to the immediate action and there's always so much to distract the focus from listening the conversations that it is almost impossible to pay attention to them. This kind of storytelling works much better in movies or cinematic interactive games like Heavy Rain or Detroit but not really in action heavy open world game where you can't even drive a car without something more important happening around you.
Tao Cheng is not the only one who could be optionally killed and then appears in Online, there's also the agent ULP that could be killed during the Wrap Up mission. Interestingly, he appears in Online even dispite his original voice actor passing away
I know that during the diamond casino heist if you go the bugstars route, Lester says something like “I pulled something similar back in the day with a jewel store”.
Also, at the contract DLC mission, you break into the FIB building the same way you do on the rooftoop approach of Bureau Raid. And to be fair, I think it would be very stupid for the headquarters of a security agency (which is supposed to be one of the most well secured places in the world) to let it be invaded the same way twice without them improving security at the rooftop from the first attack. Which leads me to believe that Fire Crew is the canon option.

Another banger. Honestly, I love these videos. You can really tell that a lot of research and effort went into these. From big things like finding cut content to little things like the recordings of car conversations and radio broadcasts. You could have easily just overlaid audio over a background, but you went through the effort of capturing footage of those things specifically. It goes a long way, and as a viewer, I appreciate it.
Lamar's surprise disappearance could be an oversight related to his actor's unavailability to record and perform. Maybe they scripted something but never recorded or subtitled it and it just slipped everyone's minds until the game was what it was.

I like to think that Lester figured out Michael was still alive by tracking Amanda, Tracey and Jimmy. He knew they were still alive, and since he split the score from the Big Score Heist to include them in Option B it's fair to assume he respects Michael's family. Also, as to which ending is canon: in GTA Online, Tao Cheng explicitly says he was nearly killed at the place where Franklin shoots his father in Option C. This does only imply it happens (what's to say he had a different near-death experience?), but it's the only evidence implying one particular ending happened rather than saying different endings _didn't_ happen.

While it is possible that the teacher also moved to Los Santos, and then Amanda slept with him, I think a more likely explanation is that she cheated back in North Yankton, and Michael just didn't know about it, and by the time of Reuniting The Family, Michael was just too tired to get upset with her over it. It is a bit unusual for her to mention someone from 12 years ago, but it's entirely possible she felt it was the time to come clean about all of her cheating

The Paleto Score has one of the most strangest lore a heist could ever get. We are robbing money to fund equipment enough to raid the Humane labs. I didn't know about the Bureau raid being done with the Paleto score. But one thing is for certain the Paleto score gave to the FIB 6 million on which from what I can recall it bought the suits, equipment, boat and Cargobob, container on which I doubt it was worth 6 million but adding the bureau raid it could potentially go to about 4 million. But then again if talking about morals, FIB agents we work are just as dirty as our characters. Killing US military soldiers to protect the nation against a false flag operation of terrorist attack using nerve toxin set up by the IAA seens kinda redudant to set up for the greater or good. I kinda get if was dirty cops and agents on IAA's payroll, like it was in mission we stoled the bonds from that truck we pulled down. But the military itself? It was kinda nonsense, also buying a Cargobob when you could just steal one? Or why stealing one and causing all the trouble of dealing with US soldiers instead of just buying it for lesser problems with the actual government? As stated many times we engage with the military, Michael and Trevor don't want anything to do with killing soldiers and they always asks for them to go away. Because Michael as the Darkviper said don't like killing unecessary and Trevor don't actually like killing military as well, maybe because he was in the airforce or something like that.

Not exactly. Brad wrote letters to Trevor. As stated by Dave that the trainees write them. I think the emails we see exchanged between him and Trevor are more to just make it convenient for the player. Instead of actually writing a letter and posting it to the prison, here send an email.
Dave was sending the emails, after beating the game option c Dave will text Trevor and say “ok, we’re clear I was the one sending them emails from Brad let’s just get past it and never contact me again”

Micheal is the only one who faked his death, and not everyone who sleeps with each other knows the other persons last name, it’s not like she’s dating these people, it’s just a one night thing. From the Teacher’s perspective, Amanda’s name is the same.
Again, I feel like soooo many of these questions and misconceptions stem from people applying GTA logic to the story. There are hints at that (Michael mentioning he ran someone over on the way to therapy, Lamar wantonly wasting people and starting shootouts, Trevor... everything about Trevor), but generally real world logic still applies. Sandy Shores may be a few minutes drive in the actual game, but it's meant to reference middle-of-nowhere rural desert areas in California and Nevada. Trevor would have been untraceable there, even by a genius like Lester.
Haven't finished the vid yet, but I just wanted to say my favorite unsung character in the game is Floyd. His entire arc is both tragic and absolutely hilarious. Deb's apartment slowly degrading over time as Trevor settles in. Trevor convincing Floyd his life is terrible when, on paper, it was pretty damn good and ordinary. The climax of Trevor leaving the apartment covered in blood xD its too good
I think you might have missed a detail, one of the ways Trevor would have known Micheal was alive is the news broadcast after the jewelry store heist the witness repeats Micheal's catchphrase, Trevor saw that news clip on TV. It's been a while for me though so I might be misremembering.
The problem with Tao Cheng is that the 100% gold medal for that mission requires you to kill Mr.Cheng with an Sticky bomb and I doubt that they mean when he is out of the car (so that you only kill Mr.Cheng and not Tao too... I am unsure if the 100% challanges are part of the story or only made without the intend of being part of the games story.
Honestly it makes sense that it was perfume, it makes sense that in gta the company would have enough influence to receive military backup for cheap perfume

Not exactly. Brad wrote letters to Trevor. As stated by Dave that the trainees write them. I think the emails we see exchanged between him and Trevor are more to just make it convenient for the player. Instead of actually writing a letter and posting it to the prison, here send an email.
Dave was sending the emails, after beating the game option c Dave will text Trevor and say “ok, we’re clear I was the one sending them emails from Brad let’s just get past it and never contact me again”
I think he simply didn't care. Once he knew he wasn't in danger, he stopped keeping track of Trevor.

Again, I feel like soooo many of these questions and misconceptions stem from people applying GTA logic to the story.
There are hints at that (Michael mentioning he ran someone over on the way to therapy, Lamar wantonly wasting people and starting shootouts, Trevor... everything about Trevor), but generally real world logic still applies.
Sandy Shores may be a few minutes drive in the actual game, but it's meant to reference middle-of-nowhere rural desert areas in California and Nevada. Trevor would have been untraceable there, even by a genius like Lester.
Haven't finished the vid yet, but I just wanted to say my favorite unsung character in the game is Floyd. His entire arc is both tragic and absolutely hilarious. Deb's apartment slowly degrading over time as Trevor settles in. Trevor convincing Floyd his life is terrible when, on paper, it was pretty damn good and ordinary. The climax of Trevor leaving the apartment covered in blood xD its too good
Trevor never convinced Floyd of anything, Floyd was just a spineless pushover that let Trevor do whatever he wanted

I think you might have missed a detail, one of the ways Trevor would have known Micheal was alive is the news broadcast after the jewelry store heist the witness repeats Micheal's catchphrase, Trevor saw that news clip on TV. It's been a while for me though so I might be misremembering.

The problem with Tao Cheng is that the 100% gold medal for that mission requires you to kill Mr.Cheng with an Sticky bomb and I doubt that they mean when he is out of the car (so that you only kill Mr.Cheng and not Tao too... I am unsure if the 100% challanges are part of the story or only made without the intend of being part of the games story.
