M2 first detail *Part 2: EXTERIOR SAFE WASH*

Following the part 1 video, this is the M2’s first detail and going over the process to safe wash the exterior. I do talk about the products and tools used, hopefully it’s useful to the fellow enthusiast.

This might hurt your ears but I have blown my speaker amp after foaming and power washing ( luckily under warranty) on two occasions!
Google M2 speaker amp problem.👍

@@CarMadElliot BMW admitted that there was evidenc of water droplets on the amp when repaired . I know of others on IG who have had the same issue.

There was a recall issued for this problem, I had it on mine. Also had a rear light cluster replaced out of warranty due to indicator failing. Also I personally do all the wheels 1st before touching the car that way you aren't blasting grit all over the freshly washed bodywork..

@@AdyWalter You are correct and on the 2nd occasion I made BMW aware of that recall and washing of the car and they found water ingression on the amp. They water pressured all the seals and replaced amp and confirmed cap for the recall . I believe this a bigger issue with amp and indicator than they are letting on .
