I miss my Cayenne so bad !!! Just couldn't afford insurance and Gas :( I was only guy in town with mud tires on there Cayenne. I had an S with metal spring suspension and the locking diffs I had 33" on it with homemade spring spacers. Loved that beast
PCA guys setup the cayenne events so they have trails rides based on stage 1,2,3 etc with general meetup before and after. As people start to understand the capability and fun customizing the cayenne the community and Porsche corporate will take notice and bring back the offroad packages.
I absolutely hope so! So many owners enjoying them off normal roads.
Oh snap! I went on this trip back early 2020. Super nice group! And yeah, definitely a chill trail. I did it in my stock 08 Turbo on 22" Continentals.
I ran on 22" this time
Yeah the only time it was a little sketchy was the faster flat trails that would have a random rock appear and I was a little afraid of a pinch flat. Other than that it was a ton of fun!
Defintiely was cool meeting everyone out there, I agree, they were a totally chill group of Porsche owners thankfully 😂

Oh man, I see 957s and I start to drool lol When he says “drive safely” I thought I was gonna see a cut to you with your wheels up😂 You’re right: a lot of ppl “buy the badge” and that’s not really my thing.

You guys should do a Cayenne championship and that includes off-road and on-road track. Get the attention of Porsche so they could possibly do it like a mixture of Daytona 500 and Baja 1000. It could be split up in two teams one off road and the other track road or it could be a team doing both events. One car for both events and teams or 2 cars for each even teams. The tracking on road will have to be attached for transition.

Hard to tell what really happened, or the cause. I’ve seen the video also and it stinks they had such a poor experience with the cayenne off-road.
It’s possible the car had an aftermarket axle or something too.
