    No rollers so ride a recumbent at the gym. Currently watching old 30's and 40"s movie serials. Loved them on TV as a kit, Gene Autrey and Bob Steele. Classics on UA-cam. Great time killers.

      Hi Jeffrey. I never found watching TV or any sort of video while riding indoors would help the time pass for me. Audio books and podcasts work better for me. I just close my eyes and listen.

    It's great that you set a 7 Day DRAT Challenge for yourself. During Spring, it's hard getting 7 straight days in a row of good riding weather. My favorite river trail often floods during the Spring high water episodes.
    My Rohloff Speedhub and Wheel arrived and I took my trike in on April 2. Well... They didn't realize that HP failed to ship the shifter and other needed parts. Ugh! My trike will be out of commission for a month this coming Saturday.
    On a good note, I did receive my Garmin Varia RTL515 Radar and was able to set up the app. I can hear the alerts through my earbud... Cool!
    Hang tough, David. I hope there's good news coming with the scan. 🙏

    • @DavidRidesaTrike
      @DavidRidesaTrike  2 роки тому

      Hi Tom and thanks! That's such a bummer with the missing parts. Hopefully you'll have it back in time for lots of good riding weather.
      Scan results were GREAT! All growths shrunk and no new lesions. My reward is a bonus of two more chemo treatments! 🤣 But that's okay. It all means the chemo's working so doing a couple more rounds is no problem.

      Hi David and thanks! The ICE Adventure is in my opinion, a GREAT trike. Yes, it's quite expensive as are all the ICE trikes but I honestly feel it's a case of getting what you paid for. My trike was quite expensive as well but when I bought it I knew I'd have it for years. Plus, I don't own a car so I used that to also justify the purchase.
