Just saw this video - awesome! Quick question: what seat do you have on the Sun Seeker EZ Tad SX? We bought a used EZ Tad SX (quite a few years old) and it has the contoured, gel-type seat cushion and some padded mesh seat back. Your EZ Tad SX seems to have a one-piece padded mesh seat.
That is correct. I have a one -piece seat I took off my terratrike and put it on the SX. I did have to do a little modifying, of course . I never liked the seat design on the SX. Thanks for commenting.
Those plastic sleeves in the top of the headsets, are called "stiction sleeves". They are there to stop high speed wobble, because Paulo, or Lynn designed the Ackerman compensation of the front wheels, for 18 in. wheels. Problem occurs because Paulo, to keep manufacturing costs down, puts 20 in. wheels on the front of all of the Catrikes. So when all of us, who knew what the problem was, and called him on it, all hell broke loose, law suits threatened, web forum administrators bullied etc. So instead of putting 18 in. wheels on, or redesigning the jigs, he came up with the stiction sleeves, to solve the problem. To keep peace in the family, we just all just shut up about it. I've got 10 years, and 21,000 miles on my Purple Expedition, and still haven't had to use the spare set of sleeves yet. So they work. One of these days you need to score a B.O.B. trailer, even with its single wheel it carries as much as the Burley, and its wheel tracks right where your rear wheel on the trike does. Makes it easier to pull, and it tracks very neatly on trails. Burley makes a single wheel trailer but, it is spendy. I need to make a video of my trike and trailer set up one of these days. Be safe out there.
Hi kirk Thanks for the great info. You should start your own UA-cam Channel. Being an Expert on the catrike expedition. It might really payoff. So the plastic sleeves We're a fix for the expedition? That's very interesting. Thanks for commenting
@@Thetrikejunkie Thanks but, I can think of over 10 people who know more about trikes then me. I'm just one of the few, who will speak out of school, that Paulo won't try and screw with. Besides, no one should be made to listen to my crapped out voice, for very long anyway.
Great video. Thanks for interesting info about the terratrike falling apart,. 😀
Very welcome.

Where are you with all these beautiful trails? Very sweet trike!
Most of the trails are around the twin city area here in minnesota. We have a really nice trail system here.
Thanks for the comment.
I have a question for you. Does that trke color (yellow) glow under UV light?
Hi John
No , it doesn't seem too.
Thank you. I've been looking for a fluorescent yellow Catrike Expedition for a while now.
If the grid goes down how would you get around just a simple question
I think my 500 W Solar System
With 2000w inverter would probably Work out well. Thanks for commenting
I have 200 w that I can take on my delta trike recumbent and trailer

Nice! Am going to do that someday.
If you are making a sharp turn do you have trouble
No trouble at all. Sometimes I forget it's even there. Works way better than I thought it would. Thanks for commenting.
