LENGTH: The estimated length of the short film will be closer to 12 minutes instead of 6! Yes, you heard that right, Tukk Tales will be quite a bit longer than initially planned! I realized the story benefits a lot from the additional scenes & the higher stakes they introduce & from letting the scenes breath a bit more overall. I usually work as 3d generalist in advertising where videos have to be FAST & attention grabbing, but with a film like this the right pacing is so important. It's such a great learning experience for me as both a 3d generalist AND director, which is one of the main reasons why I'm making it in the first place. 2. RELEASE DATE: I initially said I HOPE to get the short film finished some time next year, but that's certainly not the case any more due to both the increased length & me having been busier with freelance work & life than anticipated throughout the year. Since this is a personal project I can only work on between client jobs, the ultimate release date depends on a lot of factors that are hard to foresee. For now I can only humbly ask you to be patient, follow along my journey with this ambitious fanfilm project, subscribe and keep an eye on my social media pages for future updates and previews. Sometimes when I'm feeling down, I rewatch this video and that interaction always gets a chuckle from me. It's why I love Star Wars: it's always fun and funny.

I think this proves how much fans overwhelmingly love the clones and the animated series' from Clone Wars to Bad Batch and want more. I can't wait for the whole story. I wish the bean counters at Disney had the vision or hired people like High Ground Animations to do official shows/ shorts/ movies/ anything like this.
The expression at 0:24 looks as though it is pulled right from an actual episode. Amazing work and massive props to the entire team behind this for capturing the quality of the actual show amazingly well.

Even if this project never comes to fruition, and even if the actual film doesn't live up to the expectations, this trailer alone is a master piece. Top notch art direction.

But what amazes me the most is how you have managed to replicate the clone wars color grading and directing style. The camera work is perfectly replicated which I don't think a lot of people acknowledge how difficult it is to do. Keep up the amazing work, can't wait for the final product.

This is easily the best animated Star Wars shortfilm I have ever seen. Most short films try to go to this form of realism that comes off is extremely creepy and eerie, but this perfectly captures the show just by straight up copying it, and I love it!

This is by far one of the best fan animations I've seen the lighting and the textures are on point exactly in the art style of the clone wars.

This is easily the best animated Star Wars shortfilm I have ever seen. Most short films try to go to this form of realism that comes off is extremely creepy and eerie, but this perfectly captures the show just by straight up copying it, and I love it!

This is actually unreal. The amount of time and dedication this takes is unbelievable and you've captured Clone Wars' art style perfectly BUT it has your own touch that makes it feel like a progression of the art style. This is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see more
