May I just say that the ending of season 7 couldn’t have been better it was THE perfect ending thank you so much to the true writers of Star Wars and making us fans happy
The crowd's reaction when Ahsoka ignites her new lightsabers. (2:41) I liked Ahsoka better wielding a green-bladed lightsaber ever since she had been introduced for the Clone Wars film when it was released in 2008 and ever since I had first watched the episode "Old Friends Not Forgotten", I had often wondered why the animators who work for Lucasfilm Animation had Ahsoka wield blue-bladed lightsabers that time.
As I'm preparing for Kenobi by just doing the usual stuff, rewatching a ton of stuff, I'm also rewatching this clip and eff me, every time I bawl harder and harder. It's only the trailer at an event I was not at, for a show I have seen multiple times. Those four last episodes, for me, are probably my favourite ever Star Wars. (And don't come at me, OT die hards, I love (love) them all and I've been watching them all since I was little, but man, Ahsoka, Order 66.... it gets me in a way that I ugly cry)
I feel like the show does what the sequels wanted to do but so much better. Ashoka is an actual character and became a strong jedi through trails and training unlike Rey who's not that much of a character and just handed powers. Rex and the other clones breathe life into the clone army, showing that even if they're literal clones each soldier is unique and not just a number unlike what they tried to do with Fin until his character moments were stolen from him by Rose in the worst way possible. The trailer shows blaster bolts bouncing off shields to kill multiple droids in one shot, taking something already established in universe (blaster bolts being deflected off shields or sabers) and does something new with it to show a possible trick skilled soldiers could pull off with a bit of ingenuity unlike the universe breaking hyper space ram.
Compare Anakin in the prequels to Anakin in this series to see the advantage a multi season TV show has over 3 movies when it comes to being able to develop the characters. The movies have to mainly focus on moving the big plots along. The TV shows have room to breathe.
@@ebailey140 exactly. I don't like the ST either but attempting to compare it to seven years of TV show based on a world that was already fully introduced in 3 movies is absurd. Radek Alonso Hollywood wants Brie Larson for Ashoka 😭
@@frank144p4 I hope not
That is beautiful.
Beyond LEGENDARY. The scene at the end when Maul and Ahsoka fight and everyone freaks out... heck, I'm shouting "YESS!" even here, 4 years later
I hope they included Son of Dathomir in this season, I need to see Maul&Talzin vs Dooku&Grievous.
Leijona Oneiroi, it’s already adapted as a comic.
Nope, the three arcs are the Bad Batch, Ahsoka's Walkabout and the Siege of Mandalore
@@shurik8550 they could do bane vs Boba arc that ain't adapted
@@aurelian8297 yeah there are loads of unused arcs, like the Utapau, Bad Batch on Kassyk, Ahsoka vs Palp, Maul finding hus secrect base, mabye Dave will do more if it gets a good reception
Strider, I hope they do.
"I was hoping for Kenobi, why are you here?" 👿
CHILLS!!!
yeah but she cant win against Maul, she will need help
@@franziskanerweissbiersfasf8145 We haven't seen the series though, who's to say something hasn't changed. At that point, she might be very capable of taking him on.
@@gumfireparalax1371 Rebels Ahsoka couldnt, then she cant aswell
@@franziskanerweissbiersfasf8145 Did she even fight Maul in Rebels? Also, why is Rebels even being considered for accurate portrayal of characters anyway?
@@gumfireparalax1371 why shouldnt it be? Dont get me wrong Ahsoka turns into quite a powerful Grey Jedi, yet its Maul were talking about. Its like discussing if Obi Wan would stand a chance against Sidious
The Hype is and was real. Now it's ended and we loved it!!!
So long, Clone Wars. Thank you, Dave Filoni.
3:34 I love that they start turning on their lightsabers
4 years since the series released and 5 since this trailer and i still get goosebumps watching this
I just finished this series a few days ago, and I have to say, I am SO SORRY for getting into this so late. I would give anything, and I MEAN ANYTHING, to forget everything about this series so I can watch it again and experience the magic once more.
Ahsoka is so great, I love her character so much.
I love how much the audience cheered when Ahsoka approached the 501st , that part in the episode was brilliant. Also the fans' reactions to Maul was epic
this video made me hyped for a season i've already seen
Is there gonna be time when we see Ahsoka on the big screen? She's such a good character and one of the very few people that truly new Anaking. I've always wondered what would have happened if she stayed by Anakin's side. I want to believe she'd be able to stop his descent to the dark side. One of the main reason why Sidius was able manipulate Anakin was because he felt completely alone and desperate. Ahsoka and Anakin always had each others backs. I could feel her pain in Rebels, when she finally finds out Darth Vader's real identity. :((
She debuted on a big screen with the Clone Wars movie. You might've missed your opportunity to see that few years ago
Hajnc I think he means Live-Action.
Probably not big screen, but she’s gonna be in The Mandalorian Season 2.
ManiacalMattMedia what?! REALLY?!
@@maniacalmattmedia1025 Ye, couldn't believe it when they announced and the actress is just spot on. Can't wait for the second season. :)
Imagine instead of Darth Maul and Ahsoka fighting at the end, its Sheev Palpatine in his office saying "the time has come".
such a good time to be alive, nostalgia hits hard 😢
Damn! That's just beautiful! How did you get such a great shot of the audience?
my wildest dream is Dave and the team tricking us and actually releasing a full length 20-22 episode season ..... 😭
@randy s No. I like Force awakens, and the rise of Skywalker. I also liked this, The mandalorian, Prequels and The original movies
nightmare freddy Movies Man likes rise of Skywalker 💀
@randy s why would you hate on someone for liking sequels, don't be a dick
@@shamrock141 Alas, a large portion of the fanbase defines their love of Star Wars by the movies they hate and not the ones they cherish. Personally, I don't care for AotC or TRoS, but I know there are tons of fans who love them.
Love coming back to this! This is star wars at its best! That three min trailer was beyond anything the sequels gave us.
Bigger crowd reaction for Ahsoka with a blue saber than Rey going dark or if Kylo Ren went good lol
Captain Rex and Ashoka are the greatest characters that don’t appear in the films
Israel Hernandez Actually Rex appears in the battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi
Rod12le PotatoLord that doesn’t count lol.
@@Joe.stark2 it does the ending of rebels
In 30 years we'll be looking back on this, and the next generation will experience how we felt when we saw this trailer.
So so so much more hyped for this than the new trilogy.
I'm a sequel fan and you're not wrong
3:36 me and my homies having a sleepover and it’s morning
Who’s coming back to this after seeing Order 66 in S7
Lol that 1 dislike XD. Must be palpatine
Must Be All The Sith
SW Rebels Fan.
Disney fanboy 🤣

Lol nah if anything, palpatine should be looking forward to this the most
Its funny how one trailer can bring all the fans back to being united again after what the Last Jedi did its amazing really just give the fans what they want.
3:25: I was waiting for Kenobi... why are you here...?
Crowd Intensifies
im so happy clone wars is still a thing at celebration :)
This series made me fall in love with Star Wars. I was 7, had a pretty heavy headache, but still had to watch it, because my sitter was there and she allowed it. I saw the fight on Geonosis first. And directly fall in love. Later I watched the Movies and so on, but TCW was always the best
i almost cried just watching this video, let alone when I watched the final season. Thank you star wars.
May I just say that the ending of season 7 couldn’t have been better it was THE perfect ending thank you so much to the true writers of Star Wars and making us fans happy
The crowd's reaction when Ahsoka ignites her new lightsabers. (2:41)
I liked Ahsoka better wielding a green-bladed lightsaber ever since she had been introduced for the Clone Wars film when it was released in 2008 and ever since I had first watched the episode "Old Friends Not Forgotten", I had often wondered why the animators who work for Lucasfilm Animation had Ahsoka wield blue-bladed lightsabers that time.
4 years later and still makes me tear up
I watched this whole season three years ago and I still get goosebumps when I watch this video
I keep coming back to this video and I cant not tear up from joy watching it
As I'm preparing for Kenobi by just doing the usual stuff, rewatching a ton of stuff, I'm also rewatching this clip and eff me, every time I bawl harder and harder.
Ahsoka is the backbone of the Clone Wars I cannot wait to see the last season!!!!!!!!!!
@@ebailey140 Well, i still prefer Anakins Character Developement to Mary Sue - Rey
@@ebailey140 exactly. I don't like the ST either but attempting to compare it to seven years of TV show based on a world that was already fully introduced in 3 movies is absurd. TCW is some of the best content not just because it had great people working in it, but because they started with a strong foundation and didn't have to produce perfect episodes each time
watching this trailer again three years later and it still gave me goosebumps!
I’m only crying bc it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
Is it wrong for me started crying looking at Ahsoka and 501st legion interaction after finished watching the 11th episode
I cried too.
Looking back and watching this even years after seeing the show, still brings so much happiness to see the trailer and others reactions. Hell yeah
Finally Disney doing something right with Star Wars
I can't believe its been almost three years since the trailer and two since the release.... still get chills! Does anyone think they could ever complete the 40ish episodes they had developed?
We’re all happy to be seeing our boy Rex again
I started crying ive been waiting so long for this
And the series has finally ended, rest in piece clone wars. Great show.
I finished the season and this trailer still gives me the chills
It's been two years, and I still tear up when I watch this. The entire experience just makes my whole body feel electrified. It truly is an amazing series and universe that we have witnessed the creation and exploration of.
(cough, cough of course somethings we definitely ignore)
Watching this post season seven makes my heart simultaneously soar and sink
THIS HITS HARD MAN. I want the feeling back of watching this season for the first time. I WANT THAT SO SO BAD
oh nice they flew you there? good to see that someone likes the good photos
The animation looks stunning.
Oh my god I was there the last day! I cheered so much when the trailer was showed, and being in a room full of incredible nerds was awesome! Star Wars Celebration 2019 was an experience I will never forget.
Even after watching the 7th season 3:29 part of the trailer still gets me pumped .
I have come from the future... it was a beautiful comeback and perfect end to an amazing series
I love the community spirit of Star Wars fans. Feels amazing hearing their whistling and round of applause so moving. I'm so glad Star Wars Clone Wars is back. I grew up watching it I had thr figures and LEGO to.
Maybe just maybe the final episode of Clone Wars could be Anakin vs Obiwan adapted into the show.
Jimmy John I hope it ends with obi wan and Anakin in their mission to save palpatine
