@@asodalis695I think story will be different somehow I believe Vyranoth will be a leader in some form because she’s already datamined to have her own spot in the seat of the aspects
At least the story from the .0 patch is continuing along a line you can actually follow. It's not the tone I would go for, but it's functional. And that's a vast improvement over here.
Love the character development for both of them, and I love the implication that Alexstrasza sympathizes wth Vyranoth because she watched her own friend (Neltharion) corrupted by shadowflame, too. They're both sisters who've lost their families :( I hope this alliance/hazy forgiveness doesn't mean Vyranoth is giving up on her ideals, though. She's a really cool character, and it would be interesting to have a good-aligned character who's openly critical of the titans and their motives.
I think they are preparing and building up for an important choice for Alexstraza, one that she'll be forced to make once Tyr wakes up proper. Stand with Tyr, or stand with Vyranoth.
I dont trust Vyranoth. This whole faceturn story could also be a trap in my opinion. While Iridikron an Fyrakk do their thing, Vyranoth sneaks into the aspects trust.
lot of doubt in the air, Alexstrazsa now doubts the titans and their ways, Vyranoth doubts her siblings and the harm they want to cause. End of the day both want to protect their own kind, and their planet. The primals hate the titans because how they were locked away, but the core of what brought dragons together was fighting against the things that would destroy the world.
Its kinda hinted at that there is much more to the story ..but ofc its not revealed.. its clear the primals know what the actual plan of the titans is and what Azeroth actually is - spoiler alert - she is not a titan soul.. If the story would be realistic Alexstrasza would have joined Vranoth and not the other way around.. She is a slave to the titans and will stay that thanks to the treatment she and the rest of the aspects/flights got thanks to the titans. Probably the void is still just as bad but they are not the clear bad guys ..its either 2 bad guys of the story or the titans are even worse than the void. Anyways the things our character knows would lead them at least questioning some things ..and we definitely would go around to kill the primals because the whole story is fishy as hell and its pretty clear they are right even if they are using the wrong methods ..but then again they were locked away and pushed into a corner. The primals and elementals belong to Azeroth and they serve her ..thats why they fought the old gods until they got defeated one by one. The aspects are more busy serving the titans than protecting their own world ..but then again with the magical mindbending coctail they are soaked in even before birth leave them without a choice.
@@asodalis695 Gotta remember, just about every race on azeroth has been effected by the titans in one way or another in their development, from humans to tauren, from gnomes and dwarves to night elves and Drakthyr and dragons. Its kind of hard to give up on the idea that the gods you have respected all this time are infact the bad guys
@@asodalis695is this new lore or retcon? Because Azeroth was definitely a titan world soul. When magni was turned into diamond form, he became her voice, her “Speaker”. He can commune with her and actually listen to her voice. During Legion, when we end up in Argus, he mentions that he can hear Argus, a Titan, a voice similar to Azeroth. Also the night elves were transformed from dark trolls to their current form due to the arcane energies from the Well of Eternity which is literally her Azeroth’s blood/wound. Arcane=Titan.
3 expansions in a row (legion, bfa and shadowlands) outright confirm azeroth is a titan soul, and the lore for a long while has said she is one. Seeing as how hands off the titans have been with azeroth, and how the titan keepers have mostly done a house keeping job of things (odyn yeeting halls of valor ,and tyr intervening against galakrond and the old God forces aside), we need the scaleborn war book to explain things, as at the moment the incarnates started a fight right after galakrond was killed based on assumptions. I don't buy the whole "titans forced their magic on us" line, because the aspects gave their willing consent to be blessed, and the titan keepers set the aspects up with their new jobs then bounced (except for tyr who stuck around). That and the titans had already left, and potentially "died" by that point, so they cant have forced order magic on the dragons, and they didn't even have a physical connection to the dragons, their subordinates on azeroth did, and like I mentioned before tyr was the only one who stayed with them. Odyn had a hissy fit and left azeroth in protest to tyr helping them, and almost all the keepers were indisposed by the time the war of the ancients happened, which points to titan forces not being directly involved in azeroth's affairs. This is supported by the fact azeroth's defenders at that time where either tasked to defend the planet by titan keepers directly(the aspects), tasked to do so by elune (wild gods, granted they were indirect protectors by eonar's will via the titan watcher freya too), or of their own free will (pandarean). If the titans were directly involved, and alive, that war would have ended in 2 seconds, as amanthul solo killed yshaaraj by picking him up, so they'd have no problems personally turning the tables, and their war against the old gods showed their leuitanants were extremely strong. The aspects having free reign to do what they want, sake for the wild gods, counters the incarnates' claim they were forced
From someone who read the book. Vyranoth is technically stronger than her right now considering in the books she needed 4 boons from each flight and it still led to a stalemate with her aspect powers.
i mean sure if u ignore the existence of like 6 other cutscenes and cinematics since launch of the expac that built onto Vyranoth's disapproval and disagreements of her siblings's actions
@@NoName1462 yes she is an antagonist to Fyrakk now. But last time she talked with Alextrasza...she clearly told her that an alliance was impossible beetween them. She still despise the titans followers.

Honestly I like this direction but I feel it's moving too fast. It feels unrealistic that Vyranoth could be convinced to team up this fast. I'd like it better if Alexstrazza first had to do something to prove she's willing to put the good of her people above the will of the Titans, and therefore earn Vyranoth's trust.
I don't think they had time to prove themselves. Fyrakk was literally on the verge of breaching the dream with the aid of the Druids of the Flame. Vyranoth wanted to stop her former brother's rampage more than anything and the best way to do that was through an uneasy alliance.
Not bad, but won't she abandon her principles just as much when she keeps working with her titanforged kin? I have not seen them willing to abandon their vows to the Titans, yet.
00:08 that dragon in armour behind Alexstrasza have down syndrome? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this, I'm just asking out of curiosity :)
Oh what a "surprise", again and again in the datadisks, somehow one of the main villains is joining good forces in the middle of the storytelling or like nothing bad happened. "Happy" to see making Dragonflight soon enough "One (in this case 2 - Fyrrak and Iridikron) Bad Guy Story". Is there a chance that at least once the bad forces will keep together and win in some way to make the story more interesting Blizzard? Thank you.
Well, everything was pointing out to the vyranoth being the "good one". A cliche story development, but I hope all is temporary and there will be some betrayal or split up.
Logically she should have done that but she is "under the influence" so she shouldnt be able to break free from the titans unless the old gods disturb those waters again as they did it once in the past. Also based on what our character knows in the game we wouldnt go around killing primals ..at the very least we would have some questions for the aspects.. or we would simply go against them right away.
They could write Vyranoth a bit better, like she could turn against Fyrakk at the last moment, somewhere in the raid, instead of just flying to Alexstrasza, her bitter enemy. But otherwise great work Blizzard, great story and character development, although a bit cliché as mentioned. ❤😊

That I cannot allow to happen, and because of that Iridikron and Fyrakk have given me no choice, I shall accept the Titans' gifts, and I understand now why the Titans were warping our children in their shells, not only so that they can be immune to the corruption of the Void Lords and not be twisted into their cause, but also so that they can be true to their oath and defend Azeroth from the Void Lords and their forces". I just hope Vyranoth sticks around and doesnt get killed in some "heroic" scene to save someone. Anytime a villian goes good I feel like thats the path most games take
Shes gonna team up with Sylvanas randomly
I presume that Vyranoth will now be made Aspect of the Protodrakes/Elements, a role sorely missing until now. I knew she'd come around eventually. ❤️
Yeah not.. she is probably introduced to be sacrificed when the time comes so we wont lose another aspect.. Also with all the lore changes they made it clear we should side with the primals but ofc we dont have the option so we are fighting some new "old" guys without asking any questions when its clear they are not in the wrong..
@@asodalis695I think story will be different somehow I believe Vyranoth will be a leader in some form because she’s already datamined to have her own spot in the seat of the aspects
I am sure that Iridicron foresaw the betrayal of Viranoth
Argh! The jailor probably told him lol
Dude…. She’s a Trojan horse. Guaranteed
Now we will have the Lin Kuei Dragonflight!

wOw, so much love for Vyranoth! ♥
I like this. Really good vibe
Brought a tear to my eye :.)
They're both sisters who've lost their families :(
I hope this alliance/hazy forgiveness doesn't mean Vyranoth is giving up on her ideals, though. She's a really cool character, and it would be interesting to have a good-aligned character who's openly critical of the titans and their motives.
well that was an extremely quick turn-around
Considering World of Warcraft: The Last Titan takes place in Northrend, I believe Vyranoth will play a major role in that expansion.
Patch developers: That's right, this scenario makes us no need to create boss fight of Vyranoth :)
Not everyone needs to be a Raid boss
God damn it accolonn Said and here it is😂😢
not only accolon said this
@@kyvanrae yeah but from all those i watch (quite a damned lot) he was 1st
I think they are preparing and building up for an important choice for Alexstraza, one that she'll be forced to make once Tyr wakes up proper. Stand with Tyr, or stand with Vyranoth.
Thanks for this comment!
"Stand with us."
"Lolno"
"I'm serious 😠😠😠"
"Oh okay"
Wow story writing at its finest folks!
Why did Blizzard have to make Alexstratza so hot😭
DAMN IT!😫
They’re more humanoids than dragons as i see 🤯
YAY! Finally! 🥰
I dont trust Vyranoth. This whole faceturn story could also be a trap in my opinion. While Iridikron an Fyrakk do their thing, Vyranoth sneaks into the aspects trust.
Vyranoth= aspect of primal dragonflight by expansion end?
lot of doubt in the air, Alexstrazsa now doubts the titans and their ways, Vyranoth doubts her siblings and the harm they want to cause.
Beautiful!
Would love to see this as just a ploy by incarnates to get revenge.
From someone who read the book. Vyranoth is technically stronger than her right now considering in the books she needed 4 boons from each flight and it still led to a stalemate with her aspect powers.
A bad bitch team up ❤
Yes!:)
if there are also druids of the air earth and water like druids of the flame.
Oh she’s dyin

i mean sure if u ignore the existence of like 6 other cutscenes and cinematics since launch of the expac that built onto Vyranoth's disapproval and disagreements of her siblings's actions
@@NoName1462 yes she is an antagonist to Fyrakk now.
But last time she talked with Alextrasza...she clearly told her that an alliance was impossible beetween them. She still despise the titans followers.

Storytelling gods strike again at blizz
Interesting dialogue, but I doubt that Vyranoth can be trusted.
Either that or I’m hoping she’s truly neutral to the new world. Her hate is only towards the titans and other outsiders so the alliance to temporary mostly to see if he can be saved and she need direct allies. I would like her to be neutral at best like don’t expect her to go completely out of her way to help but will when she needs to.
RIP Vyranoth, you almost were a character
Joining the multitude of others that was sacreficed on the altar of "narrative".
It's the same BfA bullshit all over again -_-
Yea ..pretty lame they throw her away. But this can be expected because we already killed too many original aspects so we cant really kill more.
OMG YES
oh fyrakk gona be really insanely mad
I‘m here for it!
How long will Vyrinoth ally with Alexstrasza? Is she playing a subtle game of her own, to gain access to Valdrakken or maybe even the Ruby Life Pools? 🤔
Vyranoth is honest.. and she will be killed off. The sole purpose they introduced here is to kill her off so they dont have to kill another original apsects ..there is barely any left :D
To soon but i love it❤
i'm ok with this, but i want to her to go back to being a villain after this patch, or maybe make the titans or keepers villains or something to justify her ideology
That can happen if the Titans went Dark on their path or the Void Lords succeeds aganist them. For now they are busy containing sargares.
Loving this, but I wonder what iridikron makes of all this
Probably just wait it all out, then swoop in and corrupt the world tree himself after Fyrakk made for good bait to 10-30 loot crazed adventurers if he even shows up again for this expansion and isn´t just now in the same waiting room Azshara and everyones favorite knife are.
@@emetanti personally i hope it isnt the tree he is after at all but part of his deal with the "harbenger" as there is a second thing in the emerial dream, the entrence to Yogg-Saron. iridikron only wants to get the titans here that seems to be his main goal which is why he is helping all these other factions keeping us ocupied and created such a loud message to the titans that they will have to interveen

world of warcraft : for a modern audience
Honestly I like this direction but I feel it's moving too fast. It feels unrealistic that Vyranoth could be convinced to team up this fast. I'd like it better if Alexstrazza first had to do something to prove she's willing to put the good of her people above the will of the Titans, and therefore earn Vyranoth's trust.
I don't think they had time to prove themselves. Fyrakk was literally on the verge of breaching the dream with the aid of the Druids of the Flame. Vyranoth wanted to stop her former brother's rampage more than anything and the best way to do that was through an uneasy alliance.
i knew she would become a ally so predictable xD
I knew it xxx f yes xxx
The world of Azeroth is such a better place when women unite and lead!
/sarcasm off
Man if Vyranoth was a traitor, she sure just got access pretty easily is all I'm sayin
I know I let your babies be turned by the Titans but won't you join me? / Yeah sure why not.
Not bad, but won't she abandon her principles just as much when she keeps working with her titanforged kin? I have not seen them willing to abandon their vows to the Titans, yet.
She joined us a bit too soon but I love her I dont care if it's stupid I love her
So it's easy join now .... Join us please i will not fail
why should i ?
because i failed once i won't fail again
okey
00:08 that dragon in armour behind Alexstrasza have down syndrome? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this, I'm just asking out of curiosity :)
😂
Why do i have a feeling that she will die for joining the Aspects..
Unless Alex turns on the titans I don’t see this lasting.
So is Vyranoth joining the Dragonfights or is this a temporary alliance?
Probably temporary imo
Yay for the good guys! If that's Cenarius, i hope Fyrakk dies next.
She will double cross them. Her beef is with the Titans.
This is so bad. God damn. Return of BfA writing starting to show..
So its the enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of truce.
Most predictable plot of 2023
The only one that wasn’t predictable was shadowlands, and it was terrible
They could write Vyranoth a bit better, like she could turn against Fyrakk at the last moment, somewhere in the raid, instead of just flying to Alexstrasza, her bitter enemy. But otherwise great work Blizzard, great story and character development, although a bit cliché as mentioned. ❤😊
Well there's a cinematic before this one where she leaves fyrakk
@@lovropeter9988 Yeah, I saw it, I just think they kind of rushed her turncoating.

Why she did it? Why? Titans are conquers who made dragons their slaves. Alekstraza is coloborant who made deal with them. Primal dragons are not good or evil, they just lived on their planet as indians lived in America before europians arrived.
I don't trust her one bit, all of this could be a trap .
redemtion arc after 1 patch....
Alexstrasza:"Stand with us Vyranoth, for all dragonkind". Vyranoth: " *nods her head* Agreed, and not only for all dragonkind but also for the Titans, for the Alliance, for the Horde, for everyone, for every creature, and for Azeroth, and you were right all along about Iridikron Alexstrasza, back there you told me to be wary of him and that vengeance is all that he craves for, because after what I saw from Fyrakk on what he did to that poor creature and what he plans to do to your World Tree, I now saw, know, and understand the true meaning of the word "Vengeance", and I thus lost my taste of inflicting it, and I also now know what you meant for I now truly believe that Iridikron has also been keeping secrets, secrets that are much more darker and more dangerous than I've ever imagined and he too is my brother no more and I also can longer stand with him, and I now finally see and understand that my ambitions, my goals, my principles, all of my entire ideals have been nothing more than just follies made by Iridikron's own dark depravity, and this is what vengeance is truly about isn't it, trading the Titans for these cursed Void Lords and serving them while allowing them both to corrupt and twist everyone and every creature into their vile abominable-excuse for followers and consume the world with corruption? That I cannot allow to happen, and because of that Iridikron and Fyrakk have given me no choice, I shall accept the Titans' gifts, and I understand now why the Titans were warping our children in their shells, not only so that they can be immune to the corruption of the Void Lords and not be twisted into their cause, but also so that they can be true to their oath and defend Azeroth from the Void Lords and their forces". Alexstrasza:" *smiles at Vyranoth's redemption* Come then, we shall uphold our oath as Aspects and Defenders of Azeroth, defeat Fyrakk, and stop Iridikron and the Void Lords once and for all together". Vyranoth:"Together".
so lame.. holy crap. How cool it would have been for Vyranoth to GTFO Alexstrasza after that cringe mini-speech. Like an "enemy of my enemy is my friend". But nooooo, we must unite the female characters against the male ones cuz 2023
It’s a trap!!! Alexstraza…. Vyranoth is a Trojan horse….
