He also doesn't seem to understand that by doing all of this, he will have another powerful enemy infesting the planet. What is he expecting to do? He just doesn't make any sense... and he is supposed to be a smart one??
Actually grew to like Iridikron a lot as a villain, even if his presence in this expansion wasn't the main vocal point, all of his appearances have left me wanting more of him. Really hope he sticks around for a while.

i think that Iridikron will be one of the best villains in the newer history of WoW. he was manacing right from the beginning. now he's not only menecing but also fking pissed and hungry for even more power. i dearly hope that Blizz will keep him alive for a longer time than just one expansion

His line in this cutscene tells us pretty explicitly that he ain't gonna be killed off until the end of Worldsoul Saga atleast. Titans reckoning isn't happening until The Last Titan expac.

That's actually a pretty sexy prediction. The thing I've liked about Iridikron more than anything is that he puts respect on our names. I imagine at this point, he's knows what we've tried to accomplish. He knows we defeated the Old Gods, he knows we defeated his greatest rival in Neltharion, he knows we even defeated a titan I'd imagine. And in his years of preparation even before his capture, he's probably learned more and more about the world soul that even Magni does. Despite all that, he sees us as a equal part in the battle of for the world's soul and is banking on us being the spanner in the works of whatever the void has planned. He's the only villain that has really respected us, and that, to me, makes a really intriguing villain. Especially, again, if your theory proves to be true.

We have lowered the benchmark for charismatic villains here, I see... He's far too cartoonish in design and bland in characterization to be a good villain. Yes he is not the convoluted disaster the Jailer was, but he's far from being good ATM.

I love that she's not afraid of really anyone. Iridikron is a scary bloke and she's not even wavered or affected. Its made her a very very well liked character and her heart is very admirable.

He’s going to need more than this expansion to match him. But he’s enroute. Guldan had three games worth of lore and an expansion worth of Build up. Iridikron just has this expansion right now.
I think he cared deeply. I got the sense he feels betrayed by someone he probably loved or considered like family. Why tell her basically stand aside he doesnt want to kill her obviously or he would of.
Dope convo, i really like them both for what they are. Just a minor thing but him disgusing as the Tip of the Iceberg was cool and some what funny :D. For real its SOOOO good that we now have proper connection to the next Expansion, like before we had to wait untill a Cinematic + pre event to get the bridge to the next expansion now the bricks for the bridge gets laid down already at the last big Patch and then we even get another patch with further bricks for the Brigde to the next Expansion and then we still have the pre event which now has enough bricks to be a proper Bridge Poggies.
Vyranoth is probably best writtern character by a long time. She sound like a normal person, she's smart and thinks rationally. She's the most sane from Incarnates and knows the risk dealing with dargerous forces. You want to be fused with shadowflame? Be allies with Void? No thx. But have a nice time dying and slowly going crazy
To put into perspective: She says less words than any other main character. That's probably why people like her. We don't have to talk to her often. Just putting it out there.
I also like how she hasn't turned a complete 180 from her beliefs. She still doesn't really trust the Titans but isn't going to continue Iridikrons vendetta at the expense of everyone else.
Idk to me she feels like a completely different personality than 10.0.5 and 10.1 cinematic, starting with 10.1.7. She was ok with everybody dying randomly in 10.1 and went along with iridikron on the fyrakk plan.

What I love about Iridikron is that he puts two options on the table. Two terrible options for us but he knows the one we have to chose benefits us more. Fight him or the infinites? If we fight him the infinites win and the world is screwed, if we fight the infinites he escapes but the world is safe. Even Fyrakk was a simple “you can hunt me down or stop the world from burning”. And that makes him very fun.

Almost seemed like they planned to do more with him, but they couldn't manage it before SL launched. It's sad, really. This does seemingly give us 2 seemingly beyond Titan level antagonists however, The Jailer (During 9.2), and most likely Iridikron (Assuming he does gain enough power to defeat the Titans, of course).

I kind of wish we got to see the rest of the incarnates spend most of their time in their dragon forms like razageth did, they all have such cool designs
I must say that i would have liked to see Razsageth visage form. Anyway i kinda like the fact that the others do not stay in dragon form all the time even tho they are really cool. Just like the aspects they do not always have to be so intimidating. Especially because they had to gather their strenghts and elaborate a plan.
As much as I've REALLY enjoyed Iridikron as a villain, I can't help but think he will be one of our most instrumental ally as we further realize the Titans as antagonistic and an enemy to Azeroth. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Iridikron, has shown a sense of acknowledgment for the capabilities of the champions of Azeroth. I really do hope we get to see more of Iridikron as we move into the World Soul Saga.
The people that say the titans are the enemy are the same people who would have Stockholm Syndrome irl. The void is far worse than anything bad that the titans have ever done

The titans aren't on Azeroth enslaving everyone to constantly praise them and fight eachother like the void did and that we literally saw in the black empire part of the story in Thaldrasusz (however the hell you spell it)
He's more than just a pawn in this game. He has motivation and a plan and is smart enough to know when to retreat and bide his time. I love that he isn't overpowered from the get go. He's cunning and not necessarily manipulative, rather scheming and calculating. Almost reminds me of Deathwing, just without the blatant madness infecting his mind and decisions. He's focused and locked in on his goal, and even willing to extend one last olive branch to his siter. He wants his kind to get their revenge on the titans, to bring them back to Azeroth and then enact his grand plan. I think it will succeed. He has Xalatath on his side and that's a force of nature that has been out in the void gathering her strength for a while now. She's ancient beyond even the ancients, and knows more than her fair share of forbidden knowledge when it comes to the titans. She will have made ready their plan and her confidence and her resources and just her mere presence is enough to make Iridikron believe that this will all work. I just hope he doesn't go full corrupted with power like we saw with Fyrakk. I'm kinda tired of the powered up to the nth degree villains. I want to see us fight Iridikron, but have him employ traps and use all his cunning to outwit us instead of brute force us. This is an interesting villain for sure.
Wth could he and Xal possibly do to the titans? Amanthul squashed Yshaarj like a bug and Sargeras destroyed a planet full of old gods lol. He's in over his head and so is she. The voids only hope is a void titan
Its funny people think Iridkron actually cares about Azeroth. People are already calling this stupid because of his talk with Vyranoth but all hes ever really cared about is his own personal revenge. If his planet and people possibly being corrupted will lure the Titans back so he can finish his vendetta so be it.
Iridikron knows the Void corrupting Azeroth is impossible considering their many failures. Plus, he just wants to lure the Titans back to Azeroth to use whatever power he obtains to destroy them.

Xal'atath collecting Old God leftovers (plus her staff was a direct gift from Dimensius), going after the Sunwell which has usually been used as a gateway, just starting to add up.
Without the titans Azeroth wouldn't exisit with life to begin with. Yes they have their own agenda by awakening the world soul titans but after that they leave the planet in peace with life. Yet the incarnates believe they infected while it is actually the opposite. The void already infected azeroth before titans came to existance. So Titans > arrogant Incarnates.
Read War of the Scaleborn. Iridikron is a very calculated antagonist. The Shadow games him and Neltharion played against each other was marvelous. Can't wait to see where this goes.
I like how Iridikron talks about the Bonds of the Incarnates while ignoring he's been lying and manipulating his "allies" from the get go, I hope when the Titans return Khaz'goroth just bitch slaps and shatters Iridikron to pieces.

I really like Iridikron. Its rare to have a WoW Villian who is driven by such a personal goal. He isnt aiming to make the Universe Better, he want to kill the being that in his mind corrupted his home. Im not sure how they handle it from here considering where the Titans are and in what state they are, but im looking forward to it

This is one of the prime issues with the Dragonflight narrative we know nothing about what the incarnates think and feel
To be fair, shadowflame is less dealing with the void itself, and them using the powers of the void. With shadowflame, they knew what they're were getting. With the void, they didn't. Although I understand why you made that mistake.
Iridikron told her and Fyrakk the plan was to breach aberrus and unleash neltharions experiments as a distraction for the aspects, the plan with the heart was only revealed after dawn of the infinite
When did we see anything about her planning void anything with Iridikron? Other than shadowflame which is much more primal, the only mention of the void is from the aspects talking about iridikron. And he went off alone in the Dawn of the Infinite, that clearly was not planned with her.
Out of the 3 cinematics This one is actually cool! The others are vary vary "meh" Now I'm actually looking forewords to the pre-patch, also I hope Iridikron survives for at least one more expansion, I miss having a Villain that is not killed in the expansion, also maybe do a Lichking with him, as in have him antagonize us the whole next expansion, then we fight him at the end, and then One of his leftenants takes over while he escapes, licks his wounds and tries again is the Void expac! I really really want this guy to last and grow because he seams like the most decent Big Bad we've had since Sargeras
Vyranoth believes in their cause. Vyranoth believes that the Titan's grip on their world needs to be loosened. What she's having trouble believing in is in whether whatever plan Iridikron has in mind to achieve that goal will leave anything of their world left after he's done.

It's not the first time he said that though. That were almost his exact parting words in Dawn of the Infinite. "And when the titans come to reclaim their prize, I shall be waiting". And ever since Blizzcon it's been clear that he'd be coming back in 13.0 and only have minor roles before that.
if they write anything with too much subtlety, half the playerbase misses it and bitches about the plot being hidden in subtext... they need to write so even the nearly-illiterate can follow the story.
Mate the last time they were subtle people asked every patch "whats up with the sword". they just had to include this so people dont drop "yo wheres Iridikron" every interview
I'm really really interested, what Iridikron is cooking for the Titans. It's obvious, that they are more powerful beings, than him, so Iridikron must have something big in his hands, to think, that he can defeat them. I don't think he just fully relies on Xal'atath and the void. He knows the cosmic forces, as he mentions he doesn't trust them. He's smart, I believe he has a plan, that he's not revealing to Xal'atath, and he does not calculate with any external parties in his games. So he must be having something grandiose in his pocket. Anyway I really hope Blizz just won't kill him before TLT, and we'll be able to witness the interaction between Iridikron and the Titans.
They accidentally made a cool and intriguing villain with Iridikron (i have no hope it was intentional). He by all accounts won DF by diverting our attentions to Fyrakk and i hope he will be a player in the endgame expansion of TLT, give he hates Titans and the recent lore tied him with Icecrown

I love that she's not afraid of really anyone. Iridikron is a scary bloke and she's not even wavered or affected. Its made her a very very well liked character and her heart is very admirable.
I believe she's more powerful than Iridikron now since she has been blessed by Azeroth herself.

I think he cared deeply. I got the sense he feels betrayed by someone he probably loved or considered like family. Why tell her basically stand aside he doesnt want to kill her obviously or he would of.
His little side glance when he says that the Incarnate’s bond is over is a really great little detail.
Despite Iridikron being cold and calculate, we can see he is a bit hurt that that the bond of the incarnates is finished :)

Dope convo, i really like them both for what they are. Just a minor thing but him disgusing as the Tip of the Iceberg was cool and some what funny :D. For real its SOOOO good that we now have proper connection to the next Expansion, like before we had to wait untill a Cinematic + pre event to get the bridge to the next expansion now the bricks for the bridge gets laid down already at the last big Patch and then we even get another patch with further bricks for the Brigde to the next Expansion and then we still have the pre event which now has enough bricks to be a proper Bridge Poggies.
Vyranoth is probably best writtern character by a long time. She sound like a normal person, she's smart and thinks rationally. She's the most sane from Incarnates and knows the risk dealing with dargerous forces. You want to be fused with shadowflame? Be allies with Void? No thx. But have a nice time dying and slowly going crazy

I also like how she hasn't turned a complete 180 from her beliefs. She still doesn't really trust the Titans but isn't going to continue Iridikrons vendetta at the expense of everyone else.
Idk to me she feels like a completely different personality than 10.0.5 and 10.1 cinematic, starting with 10.1.7. She was ok with everybody dying randomly in 10.1 and went along with iridikron on the fyrakk plan.

All she wanted was to let dragons be free from Titans influence, and knows neither Fyrakk or Iridikron care about that cause now. Fyrakk just wanted to watch the world burn and Iridikron only cares about his personal vendetta.
What I love about Iridikron is that he puts two options on the table. Two terrible options for us but he knows the one we have to chose benefits us more. Fight him or the infinites? If we fight him the infinites win and the world is screwed, if we fight the infinites he escapes but the world is safe. Even Fyrakk was a simple “you can hunt me down or stop the world from burning”. And that makes him very fun.
Iridikron is just mad because he doesn’t have a nose. Maybe rhe titans took his nose, could that be why he hates them?

This does seemingly give us 2 seemingly beyond Titan level antagonists however, The Jailer (During 9.2), and most likely Iridikron (Assuming he does gain enough power to defeat the Titans, of course).

I kind of wish we got to see the rest of the incarnates spend most of their time in their dragon forms like razageth did, they all have such cool designs
I must say that i would have liked to see Razsageth visage form. Anyway i kinda like the fact that the others do not stay in dragon form all the time even tho they are really cool. Just like the aspects they do not always have to be so intimidating. Especially because they had to gather their strenghts and elaborate a plan.

As much as I've REALLY enjoyed Iridikron as a villain, I can't help but think he will be one of our most instrumental ally as we further realize the Titans as antagonistic and an enemy to Azeroth. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Iridikron, has shown a sense of acknowledgment for the capabilities of the champions of Azeroth. I really do hope we get to see more of Iridikron as we move into the World Soul Saga.
The people that say the titans are the enemy are the same people who would have Stockholm Syndrome irl. The void is far worse than anything bad that the titans have ever done

The titans aren't on Azeroth enslaving everyone to constantly praise them and fight eachother like the void did and that we literally saw in the black empire part of the story in Thaldrasusz (however the hell you spell it)
Now iridikron looks like a villain
He's more than just a pawn in this game. He has motivation and a plan and is smart enough to know when to retreat and bide his time. I love that he isn't overpowered from the get go. He's cunning and not necessarily manipulative, rather scheming and calculating. Almost reminds me of Deathwing, just without the blatant madness infecting his mind and decisions. He's focused and locked in on his goal, and even willing to extend one last olive branch to his siter. He wants his kind to get their revenge on the titans, to bring them back to Azeroth and then enact his grand plan. I think it will succeed. He has Xalatath on his side and that's a force of nature that has been out in the void gathering her strength for a while now. She's ancient beyond even the ancients, and knows more than her fair share of forbidden knowledge when it comes to the titans. She will have made ready their plan and her confidence and her resources and just her mere presence is enough to make Iridikron believe that this will all work. I just hope he doesn't go full corrupted with power like we saw with Fyrakk. I'm kinda tired of the powered up to the nth degree villains. I want to see us fight Iridikron, but have him employ traps and use all his cunning to outwit us instead of brute force us. This is an interesting villain for sure.
Wth could he and Xal possibly do to the titans? Amanthul squashed Yshaarj like a bug and Sargeras destroyed a planet full of old gods lol. He's in over his head and so is she. The voids only hope is a void titan

Its funny people think Iridkron actually cares about Azeroth. People are already calling this stupid because of his talk with Vyranoth but all hes ever really cared about is his own personal revenge. If his planet and people possibly being corrupted will lure the Titans back so he can finish his vendetta so be it.
Iridikron knows the Void corrupting Azeroth is impossible considering their many failures. Plus, he just wants to lure the Titans back to Azeroth to use whatever power he obtains to destroy them.
@@ryankwon8785 Well the Old Gods failed, I think Midnight is going to involve bringing a Void Lord into existence to actually get the job done. Xal'atath collecting Old God leftovers (plus her staff was a direct gift from Dimensius), going after the Sunwell which has usually been used as a gateway, just starting to add up.
Without the titans Azeroth wouldn't exisit with life to begin with. Yes they have their own agenda by awakening the world soul titans but after that they leave the planet in peace with life. Yet the incarnates believe they infected while it is actually the opposite. The void already infected azeroth before titans came to existance. So Titans > arrogant Incarnates.
Read War of the Scaleborn. Iridikron is a very calculated antagonist. The Shadow games him and Neltharion played against each other was marvelous. Can't wait to see where this goes.

I really like Iridikron. Its rare to have a WoW Villian who is driven by such a personal goal. He isnt aiming to make the Universe Better, he want to kill the being that in his mind corrupted his home. Im not sure how they handle it from here considering where the Titans are and in what state they are, but im looking forward to it

She was fine with the plan that included the void, which Iridikron and her planned when Fyrakk was in Zaralek, until it was just her and Fyrakk and he deviated from the original plan, which is the entire reason she leaves him, so if Fyrakk had remained sane and kept to the plan she would still be with the Incarnates and the void. This is one of the prime issues with the Dragonflight narrative we know nothing about what the incarnates think and feel
To be fair, shadowflame is less dealing with the void itself, and them using the powers of the void. With shadowflame, they knew what they're were getting. With the void, they didn't. Although I understand why you made that mistake.
Iridikron told her and Fyrakk the plan was to breach aberrus and unleash neltharions experiments as a distraction for the aspects, the plan with the heart was only revealed after dawn of the infinite
When did we see anything about her planning void anything with Iridikron? Other than shadowflame which is much more primal, the only mention of the void is from the aspects talking about iridikron. And he went off alone in the Dawn of the Infinite, that clearly was not planned with her.

If you do a quest with her it usually says "Tell me what happened Vyranoth" and it wil play, thats how it usually works

Iridikron is all that the jailer should have been, an actual good antagonist
Vyranoth believes in their cause. Vyranoth believes that the Titan's grip on their world needs to be loosened. What she's having trouble believing in is in whether whatever plan Iridikron has in mind to achieve that goal will leave anything of their world left after he's done.
Sounds like no more Iridikron until the last titan to me.

To this day, Iridikron is still just a juiced protodrake, a Deathwing wanna-be, nothing a balista shot wouldn't fix to be honest. I have seen nothing that would make me respect him as a world threat. His plan is nonsensical, his motivation is basic.
Maybe we’ll see more of him soon and his nonsensical plan make sense? Couldn’t expect much in a semi patch.

if they write anything with too much subtlety, half the playerbase misses it and bitches about the plot being hidden in subtext... they need to write so even the nearly-illiterate can follow the story.
Mate the last time they were subtle people asked every patch "whats up with the sword". they just had to include this so people dont drop "yo wheres Iridikron" every interview

I'm really really interested, what Iridikron is cooking for the Titans. It's obvious, that they are more powerful beings, than him, so Iridikron must have something big in his hands, to think, that he can defeat them. I don't think he just fully relies on Xal'atath and the void. He knows the cosmic forces, as he mentions he doesn't trust them.
He's smart, I believe he has a plan, that he's not revealing to Xal'atath, and he does not calculate with any external parties in his games. So he must be having something grandiose in his pocket.
Anyway I really hope Blizz just won't kill him before TLT, and we'll be able to witness the interaction between Iridikron and the Titans.

They accidentally made a cool and intriguing villain with Iridikron (i have no hope it was intentional). He by all accounts won DF by diverting our attentions to Fyrakk and i hope he will be a player in the endgame expansion of TLT, give he hates Titans and the recent lore tied him with Icecrown
