    We get a couple million and an sell on % for a guy who doesn't want to stay, scores once or so a season and replace him for someone who puts the ball in the net. Nourry is really on it this summer. Better players for similar cost....and ridding of Dad agents...sold!
    Armstrong in his Bristol interview said he was in their training this morning. My only moan and groan is how we hold off on announcing these things...
    Thanks for the commentary, Hoopsa. You're on it!

    As usual you’ve nailed it, I was always hoping for a breakout run from Armstrong but it just never happened, that’s crazy money for someone with so little end product, and let’s not forget he has to be nursed through the season as back to back 90 minute performances would end up with him injured. Very keen to see your deep dive on Žan, and am remarkably and unusually happy with how the club are managing the squad. I’m very much looking forward to seeing them in the flesh at the fakes next week.

    I’m sure if Marti wanted Armstrong he would not have been sold, Celar looks very good and is highly rated in Slovina. I like the way Rangers are going about their business, and only keeping/ signing players committed to the club. Exciting times.

    Sinclair was certainly a force to be reckoned with.Bristol City have done well overall with QPR signings of Wells, Dickie, now Armstrong and he should do well alongside Wells as a formidable attacking force.I hope Zan Celar proves his worth.
    It might also be prudent to keep Dykes dropping him back to mid field position as a co-ordinator. Be also interesting to see how many goals Willock makes for Cardiff

    First of all top video. Second yes Armstrong is not a striker we want to back.on. yeah he's young but he does miss chances so.im not sad to see him.go. for the new striker looking forward watching him. Keep up.the work and up.the RRRSSSSS

    Seems like the club are focusing on players that can fully commit. you can imagine Martí & co worked really hard with Willock & Sincs, maybe mentally they’re a bit of a challenge, could be a bit volatile? I like how ruthless our business has been.
    If they’re not fully committed then they need to go, I think a lot of our problems in the past have come from this. Even if you’re injury prone, you’re still more likely to play if there’s commitment.

    Another great video, just going off stats the celar is definitely an upgrade on Armstrong, good to get the % sell on too though. My one concern is left back, with Paal entering his last year & Watford supposedly interested we have no other option in that position. Even if he signs where is the cover..?

    Will be really gutting to see Armstrong for Bristol City, especially if he does well. However, our business so far has been pretty impeccable on paper. Can't help but be excited for the new season!

    To justify selling Armstrong we will need to sign one more striker in addition to Celar, and keep Dykes as well. We absolutely must have at least one more forward this season than we did last year. But for the amount of money reported, selling Sinclair was probably sensible. Other than that I think our squad is looking ok. We have added to the defence, won't miss Willock too much, especially with the Chair saga over, and the positive spirit in the squad has carried over from last season. Our injury situation is much better than it often is in pre-season, with Frey doing really well, and hopefully Dykes will be back to his best by September. I can't make any of the friendlies but I am really looking forward to the opening day of the season proper.

    I hope Armstrong has a good career as it is in our financial interests for him to do so, but this has been an excellent piece of business by Nourry again. I feel we are still one attacking midfielder short, especially one that can operate down the left side. I also feel we still need one more striker and obviously that will be the case if Dykes goes. I also feel that if we can't get Hayden in on the right money that Dunne is more than capable of playing in that 'Declan Rice' style position. The Birmingham worldie aside, he actually is very comfortable on the ball and at 6'3 he has real presence.

    Singh was quite a talent in the A league for Wellington Phoenix which prompted the move to Bayern.. but has done nothing in Germany.. i think hes a streak player not someone we could rely on probably why hes been a failure in German football

    • @bringbackcloughie
      @bringbackcloughie 2 місяці тому

      The two teams I support are the R’s and the Wellington Phoenix as I live in Wellington. Singh played very well for the Phoenix and it would be great if QPR picked him up and he got good gametime without injury. He’s had a long term groin injury and recently didnt make the NZ squad. So he needs a new club and itd be great if he signed and rediscovered his form

    QPR should keep a eye on Irankunda at Bayern as a possible loan option. If he doesn't see much playing time there, he would be a good player to get in on the right. strong, a lot of pace, powerful right foot and loves running at defenders.
