    I don't think I'll ever be into building dioramas, but if I did, I would love to do the orbital entry scene from 0079 with melting shield and exploding zaku in the background.

      That sounds like a friggin awesome idea for a diorama. Lot's of interesting techniques to consider. That would have so many interesting layers to it.

      @@GiantRobolove yeah exactly!
      You got the Gundam hiding behind his burning shield, the zaku exploding in the background and the glowing Earth below. Would be amazing to see in diorama form.

      Thanks my friend. It's true that some things become easier with practice. Pair that with fun and it's a wonderful way to spend one's free time :D

    Good stuff man, always impressed with your ideas, super different. Always very inspiring. Makes me wanna build another diorama sometime.
    You should look into controlling the LEDs with an arduino, that way you can add breathing effects to the LEDs, the ones that you are using seem to be addressable so you can do all sorts of cool stuff, plus you get a USB power source so no swapping batteries out.

    • @GiantRobolove
      @GiantRobolove  3 місяці тому +1

      Thank you my friend! I hope you do build one again in the future. The one you did had a tight deadline, so maybe that was a bit stressful. But I bet you would come up with great stuff when you have to let your ideas simmer.
      Yeah, the arduino. I've looked into it. But that would mean I would have to learn how to program stuff 😅 But yeah, definitely something to look into for the future. Next step will be incorporating a reed switch into a diorama. I actually bought them right after I saw your Z'Gok video haha.

      @@GiantRobolove That video needs updating, lol, you can get an SMD (surface mount) version of a reed switch that's a lot smaller so you can fit it into any kit, but it's way harder to solder.

    • @GiantRobolove
      @GiantRobolove  3 місяці тому +1

      Maybe you get around doing the update soon ;) Exploring that LED stuff is really fun. I'm going to try a Nu Gundam build with funnels soon. There are plans in my head, but it needs more planning I guess haha

    Woah I had no idea uv light rgb strips were a thing 😮 as usual, awesome work dude!

    • @GiantRobolove
      @GiantRobolove  3 місяці тому

      Me neither haha. I stumbled across this while researching ways to implement UV LEDs. Made things way easier than soldering single LEDs. Thanks for watching and your comment 🙏

    Man I love the customization especially the fluorescent lights. I just wish it was capture cleaner the off light video shows a lot of noise. overall great diorama.!!

      Thank you! It remains one of my favorite builds to date :) And yeah, sorry about the grain. My camera is long outdated and its low light capabilities are not the best. It was the only way to show off the glowing, by bumping up the ISO to the max value.

      Hey, danke für deine Nachricht. Ich bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät, auch wenn ich schon hier und da dem Gedanken gespielt hab, ein richtiges Set zu holen. Ich sag mal so, es sind ja mehrere Faktoren, die da in die Entscheidung reinfließen. Ist dein Budget begrenzt? Hast du genug Platz für ein komplettes Setup? Möchtest du die Airbrush regelmäßig nutzen oder nur ab und zu? Sind halt alles Dinge, die du für dich beantworten musst ;) Fakt ist, ich bin immer noch zufrieden und werde sie wahrscheinlich auch nutzen, wenn ich ein komplettes Setup hab, weil die einfach mega schnell einsatzbereit ist.
