I wanted to see when someone climbs the tree, sees the maze, and goes insane.
use the axe as a first step into tree, my first thought
nah in that case then they could just crawl across the ceiling until they see a way out
@@wernercollins1319 why use the axe on a really tough large wide tree , when the door is like max 2 inches thick ;) Logic...
We are doing that by watching this video
@@terrabiker You maybe didn't understand my logic, you use the axe as a one step ladder to climb the tree, to see which way to go...then you know which wall to axe ;)
Who else thought she was supposed to climb the tree?
She was
Or use it on the door. Cutting through the trunk didn't make sense.
She probably would have escaped for good if she climbed the tree
Yeah, at first I thought that she was supposed to climb the tree. That's what I would have tried to do. But I certainly didn't think that she was suppose to attempt to cut it down. That just seemed so unnecessarily destructive to me.
If your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail...
Fun fact: It's kinda how AI learns
Machine Learning
Built an A.I for flappy bird, this expresses what that A.I went through
Literally the only thing I thought the video was referring to. Seems no. LOL
This is true
Just realized it
Edit: but AI is not limited by the time, they just keep going until there's something make this end
Honestly I would have failed so many times. A quiet room and a bed.. I would have slept straight through it lol.
Sekic
Not me
Me too. No point in wasting energy if you have a bed and can have peace without straining yourself.
The temptation was not missed by the A.I. but after an iteration it came to the conclusion that sleeping wasnt a productive choice.
The point is you know that there is no end, but they don't. They hope to do as many doors as possible to fine of a way out
This actress is phenomenal. She conveys personality and a wide range of emotions very vividly with so little dialogue...
Ginger snaps
thats katharine isabella or as i like to call her "ginger snap"
AND she is cute!
nice set of curves 12 seconds in, yeah she is cute, she was in Supernatural a few years back
Agree!!
I would have used the ax on the door.
I was thinking the same
my first thought also
Why not try the key that worked on the door before first?
The ax wasn't available until the Tree room and it only had the entry door. Sure seemed like a Black Mirror story. Loved it.
@@raphidae The door with the balloons had a keyhole next to it. It was the only door which had one.
Seems to be symbolic of our daily rat races in which we run around in circles trying to find a meaning or a way of escape. We do the wrong things over and over until we eventually learn from our mistakes which only leads us to the next challenge. If we are lucky enough to find someone along the way, we can work together toward common goals. The truth is, no matter how many problems we figure out, there will always be more, and regardless of how far we get, we all eventually run out of time. I think the moral of the story is; enjoy your life while you can and use your time wisely or you might end up spending your whole life "popping balloons" for no reason.. Unless, of course, you enjoy "popping balloons". In which case, pop them all you want!!! It's your time.. Spend it how you like! - CHEERS!
Or, it’s literally just people in a crazy, alternate dimensional puzzle of some sort. Not everything has to have a deeper meaning.
This is a symbolism of our universe and our daily lives are some type of computer simulation
Wordzwurth thank you for the explication.

A positive one. Without gore and total mess.
Closer to the "talos principle". The multiple copies that end up helping with a large job are like the recording device used in that game.

I think they are gonna change the name of that show to 'The Lube'...
Was just about to say that, what was the thing with that anyway? I swear I saw all three films and still none the wiser

The AGW farce is an example of the template being tested in reality to affect social sentiment in order to by-pass critical thinking by emotion.

Portal meets machine learning... Oh, we have a problem when ATLAS can play portal in simulation and beat every challenge in minimum time... Now G.I.A. is thinking with portals ! :-O
@@benevolentdictator2315 Of course zero evidence for the bogus funding statement. Like with all loony conspiracy theorists. I dislike Soros very much, but this is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. "They" my arse.
The axe becoming available should be a huge clue!! Going from room to room is NOT the way out. The axe gives them the ability to bypass the "puzzles" by breaking through the walls. If there are "endless" rooms, no matter how fast they chop or how many of them are chopping, they will never chop fast enough. THEREFORE, the axe proves the room puzzles are not a solution but a mere distraction... the way out... is UP!! CLIMB THAT TREE!!
Climbing the tree will just bring you to another cubicle. I think this is a representation of the frustration and futility of the masses, due to the endless manipulation and mind-fucking of corporate life. Aren't we already living in cubicles performing meaningless tasks? Break out!
What about DOWN ? Chop through the floor... The test center machine learning Sim-World wouldn't expect you to cut down through the floor.
The Buddha would sit under the tree, clear his mind, and touch the floor. No longer can the voice command him to die every 60 seconds.
@@SeaJay_Oceans going further into the maze also makes you a longer road to get back where you were

As a former fireman who's also worked in EMS and law enforcement, I was like NOOOO!!!! What are you doing to the tree??? You've been given a breaching tool!
Very good short! I like that everyone gets to interpret this for themselves. I personally thought of programmers testing AI to see how well it "learns". Many simulations running at the same time... And if you're the AI, you probably don't know what is going on or that you are just a simulation. Until you learn it that is...
That was my first thought too, Ive been watching a lot of Code Bullet and I was really reminded of that process.
That part "Many simulations at the same time" reminds me of the quantum computer coz that's what they do.
I think futures ai will be trained in this kind of simulations

Nah, it's an odd bonding ritual that lovers on the planet of Iomia go through. Their memories are partially wiped and they face those challenges, eventually meeting each other and facing challenges together. And through that, a deep bond of trust and cooperation grows.
What a great ride! I loved how the woman's personality evolved with each iteration, how she and the man first sought connection, and then continued on their quest. Together. Humans need connection--no matter the type, and a quest--no matter the outcome. This film shows that so beautifully.
Yes, yes, yes and yes.
It shows we will never get ahead man or woman if we don`t work together we have no future if we put man against women we were designed as a team each with their weakness but together can accomplish the impossible
@@briancossey9724: But the end showed it's all meaningless.
Where would they ever get to but another cube with another silly "challenge?"
KutWrite no, the meaningfulness of life is in relationship...and now they are together
Get Schwifty, silly, she is doing better than the guy.
60 seconds is too short. To be able to solve this, the timer has to restart at 60 seconds each time you solve a riddle.
You Guys all need to think Better:
What you need to do in a Situation like this is when you get far enough into other rooms bring the bed with you, so you don’t have to respawn in room 1 so you can make Progress!

The hood Somali that very smart actually lol 😅
Or have the man drag the table to nearby rooms while the women scouts above or runs on the roof of the maze

Lmaoo is that last sentence a Roddy Ricch line from the box. 😂😂😂
The actress is phenomenal. She got me well-invested into her character as this puzzle solving heroine like Chell in Portal. I have to admit, I have a soft spot for puzzle solving and video games... made me fell inlove with her quickly with the 'player one' antics one is supposed to experience when playing progression type games with simple rules but with diverse challenges and having moments that sometimes makes you question your actions and the game itself but you still end up grinding up the levels.
That quirky nature of the whole film itself is just wow... unfortunately this will only make me watch more videos on this channel. Curse you, DUST!

haha nice find!!
Weird. Why do humans assume tha tree+axe means cut it down?
Some will. Some won't.
Well it was either that or wall plus axe, as we saw. Not sure what your point is really. An axe is a tool, it is within human nature to recognise patterns and we recognise what an axe is for.
The audience, which is us, is seeing it from the outside in. She is the one on the inside and some what the previous iterations taught her, you take the tool and you interact with what is there. She didn't know any better until a couple of iterations later. Regardless she did learn and that was the point for that room I suppose
Because "Axe the tree" means cut down the tree.
my first idea, tear down the wall.. break out.
At some point you got to axe yourself the question, what's it all about?

I have constantly dreams like these. Not as a confined space as this, but same logic. I keep dying and coming back. Not scary, but just...disappointing when guy A, for example, shoots me from the side and then I die. Next, I already know where he is and then shoot. Other examples with exits and routes are similar. This is similar across dreams too, it seems i have a memory stored for them, and I’m just one character.

My first thought when I saw the axe, "come on, the tree is not your goal!"
I came back just to say how good this was. Impressive imagery, great shots and your cast did amazing.
If you liked this movie, I encourage you to watch the movie "Edge of Tomorrow: Live. Die. Repeat.”
or Ground Hog's Day. I'm not a fan of that brainwashed, scientologist mouthpiece, of puppet you all call tom cruise. I don't like anything about him. Especially how he treats his exes. Brainwashed his children so that they would have nothing to do with their mother, all while getting a divorce. If the average Joe did that, the judge would have thrown the book at him and awarded custody to the mother by default. But because he was rich and had the full force of the church of scientology (a brainwashing, morally bankrupt cult that uses underhanded and illegal practices to coerce their opponents into leaving them alone and/or giving them what they want,) he got away with it and Nicole Kidman got screwed over, royally. You want to know what a complete ass he is, just watch some of the vids that have come out about scientology.
FYI: Note how I used capital letters for Nicole and Ground Hog's Day, but not tom cruise, scientology, nor church of scientology. It's not a typo, it's intentional and an intentional sign of total disrespect. I believe scientology to be dangerous and they have certainly shown no concern about destroying families through their destructive brainwashing methodology. I think the best thing that could be done there, is to raid them, take all the members and put through a psych eval, then through a deprogramming treatment if necessary. The leaders who are responsible for the brainwashing should be jailed. That entire religion was the brainchild of l. ron. hubbard. He was a Sci-Fi writer, who dishonorably discharged from the navy after he mistook a part of Mexico as an enemy and opened fire on Mexico. Before that he had opened fire floating logs and other harmless debris, believing he was firing on an enemy. He was obviously a deranged and troubled person. He made up that religion using nothing but his imagination and convinced people that they are all infested with spirits of evil aliens who flew around in space ships that look exactly like a DC-10 aircraft, called thetans (named after the ancient Greek letter theta.) Also, unlike other religions, you need to pay to be taught the next level towards your ascension, which they call clear (meaning you're clear of thetans,) but there is always some new, more powerful thetan that needs to be cleared, which costs more money with each level and the teachings of which, get more and more absurd.

Was the timer reset after entering each room? Did not seem so. If it was not, they could only get so far in 60 seconds regardless how well they knew what to do. Iteration #? , they lose their minds or say the heck with it and go for a quickie... lol
The best way to proced is to set up the next iteration for success. Set up each room to open as fast as possible so that each new iteration is sprinting to the next. One hell of a workout!
55Ramius I'm for the quickie
I thought the same, then the couple become lab rats living out their lives in one small location.
Maybe the timer rolls over?
It wouldn't take that long to axe down all the walls 60 seconds sprinting distance from the axe, then there is literally nothing else they can do- What might make for a better idea is if the rooms reset, and added 60 seconds each time, so there is the possibility of infinitely solving puzzles.

It took quite a while to see where they were going with this, but in the end I see some of the best commentary on life I've ever seen put on film. Stuck in an infinite loop, once you fulfill one "challenge" in life you're just faced another one, all with no end goal, at least not one our capitalist society that glorifies working ourselves to death promotes. To get anything from life we must bust our way out to find some meaning somehow.
Wow! I was just agreeing with another post from 3 years ago on how they should climb the tree: I think they should do that After finding each other by breaking through walls. After all, we’re a combination of pack/herd animals & we need all need help. But I was so caught up in the drama I hadn’t thought, yep, that’s all of us in this life, sometimes trying to work out the seemingly random details & connections, sometimes bashing futilely away with brute force, sometimes giving up & going: “Nah! F**K It!!!” before getting up again with renewed vigor.
And sometimes, just Sometimes- we see All the Connections, like we’re getting a glimpse behind the curtain at the inner-workings of the Universe & (just for a second) we See (& Understand) Everything.
And then it all goes away & we go back to putting our heads down & bashing through walls & not understanding Anything!
would be a good representation of thinking out of the box
