- Today’s video will be showing you how to make Einkorn bread. Einkorn is an ancient grain. Einkorn is also considered the oldest grain known in the history of agriculture, this superfood is delicious in all kinds of baked goods.
Einkorn wheat once grew wild around the world, but, like many other heirloom grains, it was weeded out as farmers cultivated modern crops and easier-to-harvest varietals. Still, this ancient grain is prized for its nutrients, lower levels of gluten, and non-GMO status.
Today the plant grows mainly in Morocco, France, and Turkey, and throughout parts of what used to be the Soviet Union.

2 tsp active dry yeast

Thank you so much for watching! Do Let Me know if you try this bread!
I'm just starting to learn to bake this bread. You explain the process well and J.J. is an adorable co star.
Cool
You did a great job of explaining. It looks delicious. My flour arrived today so I chose to try your recipe 🩷
Thank you 🙏🏽 How did your bread turn out?
I was making this bread from since the seminar couple years ago. But stopped because of the move etc. Need to get back on the cake. Thanks for the reminder.
Bread looks good.
Wish we could hold of that flour dear sis here in the Caribbean (Jamaica) we cannot but thank you for sharing. Looks really tasty.
Well, if you have land, Einkorn will grow just about anywhere, even if it’s a bit saline, dry, or quite hot or cold. It chokes out most other stuff and is highly insect and fungus/mold resistant.
If you grease the measuring cup with a little olive oil the honey will come out easily and you won’t waste it.
Excellent!
Just found your channel, looking forward to watching all of the video's , subscribed, wishing you the family the best, from Tennessee
Thanks for sharing.
Have never heard of this flour before must check and see if it is sold here and will give it a try.
Tuanks im definitely going to yry this, where did you buy the flour?
Using All purpose or Whole Grain Einkorn makes a difference. You don’t mention that
Thanks for sharing. It’s hard to get a hold on einkorn without paying so much for shipping. Was wondering if u know that SOP tells us bread shouldn’t be consumed until after 2 or 3 days when the yeast has fully died. I usually date my bread and freeze it. Then we consume the bread.
Hi what brand flour did you use. I'm just making it now. I followed your measurements to make this bread but found there was not enough liquid for the dough after mixing it so I added a little bit more water. Hope that's ok. I'm hopeing it turns out ok.
Loved the video too. So easy and simple.
Hello it was brought from a wholesaler online. I believe it was Forrest foods.
Yeah sure should be okay 👍🏽
Thanks for watching let me know how it turns out 😊
Hi unfortunately it turned out rock hard. 😫 Perhaps it was the type of flour I used. I bought Doves Farm brand, Einkorn wholemeal flour. I've just looked on the website Forest Foods but there are several Einkorn flour not sure which one to use. Can you send me a link of the one you bought or send the name of it.
Thanks.
The grams of the flour seems would be just as important but you left that out in the recipe.
You didn't add salt .
I did add salt (pink Himalayan) at 2:40 time stamp 😊
