Lickd has about 15 songs that MIGHT be usable if youre willing to pay the $15 monthly + $8 per song or $32 flat-out fee (could still be more idk) per song. 4. somehow, people still use copyrighted songs on their edits without using Lickd which means A. they don't give af B. they got licensing another way (god knows how) C. they are gatekeeping the technique to not get striked/flagged overall it definitely killed my mood to learn how to edit/post on UA-cam.
@@resheditz so what i found out from youtuber nowack is that you can use the music however you can NOT monetize the video. you are free to use the music but if youre looking to make money from your edits you have to find another way. he also mentioned that every video of his is copyrighted, however since its not monetized he wont get copyright striked

I uploaded my own personal music videos for videogame trailers. In my experience certain companies will seek to block videos from being seen by anyone except you personally. And in most cases the videos that are still up for viewers to see do not get recommended nor will they be viewable to certain regions.
As far as I know this will depend on the license and the label the artist is associated with. The idea behind this is so that you can use awesome music to suppliment your own content and not so much that the song is the whole focus of the video if you get what I mean. So I would imagine in most cases probably not. sorry!
You can use some (popular) songs if the creator allows for it (example: goosebumps by travis scott) this is kind of obvious but you'd be suprised. (You most likely wont be able to make money)
