People doesn't understand this video. This is the best haircut for a guy that doesn't wanna shave his head completely. I think it looks awesome, but I'd wish he would shape the edges on the neck with a straight razor. How interesting would a video be with a barber shaving a head? I must say though, this guy has an epic mustache!

I'm almost completely bald. For 20 years, the wife has been cutting my hair with a Wahl trimmer and #1 blade. She does a slight fade or feathering at the back. It takes about 15 minutes because she gets OCD about the little hairs she missed.She could probably do it in 5 minutes. I haven't spent a dime at the barbershop for 20 years. My two favorite barbers retired in the late 90s, so no loss. One was an older woman who finished with a straight razor. Usually had a cigarette dangling from her mouth. She was very fast and very good. The second was a pleasant guy who was one of the coolest guys I ever knew.

Horse shoe can look good if styled with the right beard IMO, you don’t need to shave it completely, just own up to your style..I don’t agree how some are ppl saying if you have a norwood 5 and up, you NEED to shave it..Shaving it completely without reasoning is passive aggressive. Which is not masculine..

To all the ones saying, SHAVE IT OFF! Honestly not everyone having thinning hair or balding don’t want to let it all go, I have a high receding hairline and hardly any at the front but I’m not ready just to shave it all off even though I have a solid full beard.. I don’t want to go bald even though it suits a lot of men! Respect that some still hold on to what they have! We have not chosen to get thinning hair or go bald... unfortunately it’s in our genes and even though we can transplant a full face from one person to another, we can figure out how to regrow ones hair again!!?

I like this option for him. Everyone does not have (or feels they don’t have) a great head shape for going completely bald. Plus, fully bald is more day-to-day maintenance.
Wonderful cleanup job by Mahesh. I’d love to know why barbers prefer the YS PARK combs over a Kent or something similar. Any barbers reading this, I’d appreciate your input. Peace and Love everybody
Kent Combs & other cellulose acetate combs can't handle Barbicide. They'll essentially melt in them.

Happy to help. It's why they are great for consumer combs, but not so much for professional. Sometimes pro quality means they're more durable, but sometimes being pro means they just need to stack up for a different environment and might actually not be as good as a consumer product.
Matthew Pearson I find ys park combs pick the hair up easier. Also they have a half tooth on the end which is very good for sectioning and also theyre the only combs ive found that last over a few months. Also as eric said barberside wont affect them :)

I enjoyed seeing this video. I too am bald but don’t want to go with the complete shave. People look at you crazy when you want to fade what is left. It’s a self conscious moment for sure but I really feel that a nice fade and bald top is good option for people not wanting the complete shave. Thanks for posting this.

...guys, you don't get it. This is an older Gent. He's not trying to hide anything or kid anyone at his age. Rockin' the power donut can actually look pretty good on men over 60. I think the way they faded it is smart and it will grow-in well this way. Great job.
Great video. I've been balding since I was 17yrs old. I tried covering my hair loss with short tight haircuts, and by the age of 22, I said to hell with it and razor shaved my head. I've been doing that for 21 years and now I have been so lazy I've let it grown and I have the same hairline as the guy in the video. It's over grown, and now i want a haircut like the man in the video, just to see what it's like. I appreciate the video and i will soon see what it's like to get a haircut from the barber once again.

Yeah...it's is nice to hear for people like me...But I won't kid myself. The ladies still adore those K-Pop boy bands and they look as unmasculine as one can conceive.
For what he had to work with I think it looks really good especially with the beard and tache. I wear my beard full but shorter with a full walrus and either keep my head shaved or grow it out ‘receding’ for awhile than shave it.

He doesnt want to shave it off. Haircuts/grooming are meant to make the receiver happy. He enjoys the look and can afford it.
A trip to the barber is nice. I totally get why he does it. The look is actually distinguished in my opinion. This video is also a good reference for barbers who may receive this request.

I like this guys shop. I like the feel of it. It's like a crime boss cover up. Mob like. With a good fellas touch to it. I think the cut and decision to focus on the the guys face and beard was tastefully done by the boss. I mean barber.

rc 2000 it's a performance to benefit the customer's ego and the barber's wallet. It makes it seem as though the customer is special and the barber to doing something substantial.
rc2000, while I agree with the number-1, you can still do a subtle skin fade. It works on a lot of head types.

Thank god for this Beard trend which has been spreading lately. I began to loose my hair when i was only 14 and even now that im 34 i still think about It sometimes. But the Beard gives me something else to think about, to take care for instead of Just thinking about my baldness.

Sorry to hear that. MPB is a curse among men. I'm not sure if I sure consider myself lucky (for a man with MPB), but I started to bald when I was twenty. However, the only area that was affected is the sides of my hair (both). 8 years later, I have a full scalp of hair (mature hairline) with no thinning or bald spots. That being said, the sides of my hair thinned out with the right side being more affected by it, but still holding strong. Thank God for skin fades. Sorry for going off topic.

I agree he should shave it all at this point, however, this hairstyle catapulted him from grumpy grampa to something much better, it was a nice job the styling of the moustache plus the tucked beard offers a more modern look if complemented with the right attitude and outfit .
I’m going to watch through later in the day, be clearly the best cut for a balding man involves cream and razor. Being a bald bearded brute myself, I feel there’s NO other choice than keep it slick. To each his own I suppose. Keep on growing...
Oh the joys of aging? I'm quite the whippersnapper, so I suppose my look may change as I age, although I think I'll be fully slick on top at later stages of balding, so no fuzzy on the sides for me!

I always feel 65% balding men compensate for this loss by growing beards personally i hate beards because I never felt facially clean and i am always thinking i got to be careful when eating foods specially in restaurants after 6 months my girlfriend finally plucked up the courage to tell me she hated it and all this time i thought she liked it, so i decided to shave it all off after 6 month. i finally had the fresh face feeling again. I was amazed at how many family and friends said i looked a lot better and younger with a clean shaven face. I realized after this just because beards are the current trend in fashion dont mean it will suit your lifestyle.

Just looking at what is happening while skipping it seems like there is not much happening with the haircut, but definetly the minor detail that was put for the haircut made quite a difference shaking at least 5 years off the current age.

Need more videos of haircuts for guys who are bald on top and front who want to keep some hair where they do have it, not totally shave it. I don't like the totally shaved look because I look good with sideburns, but I don't always want a beard either. Also there are so many videos of "haircuts for balding men" and the men are far from bald at all.

I have a friend who had an accident as a child and can only speak with the language he learned first. He can't learn a new language. However, he holds his phone near a speaker, and a translator program gives him the best and most accessible translation. I can't wait for the day when those apps are so advanced that miscommunication is rare.

You were talking about Airport Security. I went through several flights out to Hawaii and back years ago. The TSA guy searched my bag and pulled out a book. Complete idiots guide to getting rich. He then made fun of it in public and had everyone laughing. I had a lot of change in the bag and he was saying, oh is this your start on getting rich? hahahaha. When I think back on that later, security is one thing, but they have no right to go through your personal belongings and show them to everyone as a joke or in any way for that matter. If I could go back, I would have reported the TSA agent for that.
I'm the opposite, been shaving my head since I joined the Marines. Now that I'm out, I want to try having a beard and hair, but it doesn't grow on top anymore 😂

Oils do not help in making a beard grow thicker, but they do help keep the hair healthy.
