Full CNC AAP01 worth it? No!

  • I knew Action Army was going to pump out CNC parts for the AAP01, however every few of the upgrades actually help the pistol to perform better. Not to mention the ridicules pricing of the upgrades compared to the cost of the pistol.
    The AAP01 is good with just a hop up bucking change. If you truly seek peak performance, spend the money elsewhere.

    The cnc upper is absolutely worth it if you value accuracy and consistency. It helps to remove some of the slop in the action of the gun and i think its your "mods" that are cause some of your wear issues.

      what is the tightest barrel that you can put in the black mamba? or in the aap01

    • @stewartsteele6886
      @stewartsteele6886 2 роки тому

      6.00 is the tightest I've seen. But a tighter barrel only increases fps, it doesnt really improve accuracy and in some cases it will hurt your accuracy if your barrel volume doesnt match the cylinder/gas volume correctly. I currently have a 6.05 in all of my aap-01s

      ok, im thinking about getting a 6.03 or 6.01 mm barrel. And did the barrel you bought come with a hop up already attached?

    The gun is $99… for what you get along with all the upgraded parts out there, it’s worth it. If you don’t want cheap, don’t be cheap and upgrade it with a purpose. They give you a gun that basically shoots and it’s on you to upgrade. If you don’t want to do that, go buy a prebuilt hi capa. I bought this pistol and put about $300 into it and I bet it’s keeps up with hi capas if not runs better.

    Great video, thanks!
    I have way too much flex between my outer barrel and upper reciever so I can't get sufficient consistency in my shots. Especially as I run it with stock and foregrip. Therefore I've ordered the black mamba kit.
    Anyway, does the inner barrel go about as far out in the threads on the black mamba as with the original plastic barrel? I'm trying to figure out what suppressor to use to swallow the longer inner barrel I will use.

    • @wyz2285
      @wyz2285  3 роки тому

      @@qrw460bhv6 Did I mention the others worth it? I did say the hop up chamber is nice. Plus they certainly do not cost the same, the aap01 is twice the price of most chambers.
      Unlike CNC hicapa slides which are either lighter than stock zinc slide/stronger than plastic slides, the black mamba offers no functional advantage. However the plastic thread on the aap01 makes it kind of needed so I do call BS to the lack of alternative to it.
      You can say whatever you want I won't waste more time with you. You clearly lack knowledge on gbb pistol.

    • @qrw460bhv6
      @qrw460bhv6 3 роки тому

      @@wyz2285 So you use Maple Leaf cast chamber to compare to the CNC AAP01 chamber? I am using Taiwan pricing and AAP01 CNC chamber is about the same as Glock or HiCapa CNC chamber from other brands.
      Black Mamba upper do provide a more solid construction compare to the stock polymer and eliminate wobble that can be introduced by heavy muzzle device, double as a extended barrel.
      And why would plastic thread be a problem? Unless you heck bend on crossing it they work just as well, if not better since your lock screw can dig in.
      It is also funny how you accuse me of knowing nothing yet you cannot bring up any point about not getting the either CNC upgrade aside from cost.
