Novritsch SSR90 - What the influencers don't tell you.

- A decent amount of thoughts actually went into this P90 and it is the first Novritsch gun on the market with my work in it.
Compared to Krytac P90 there are pros and cons to each, saying Krytac is definitely better is clearly wrong and biased but depends on what you value, choosing the Krytac P90 can be justified although OOTB the Novritsch SSR90 has more airsoft oriented advantages.
The project started when Novristch was a tiny company and given the budget and restrictions, I think it turned out better than I expected.
There are unique features that you can't get elsewhere, but you can build a similar performance one if you have the time and expertise to do so. - Розваги
Great insight - I just found the video after making our own review and glad to see that we covered most of the things you mentioned internally, especially the hop. Brilliant job on the hopup chamber - probably the best hop assembly / chamber I've seen out of the box on any AEG.

Great vid! recently my aeg broke so I have to get a new one. So far I am looking at the SSR90, G&G CM16 SRXL, and the Krytac Trident. Which should I get? I am definitely leaning towards the SSR90 but do you think it would last and would it work well? The only reason I am hesitating getting the Novritsch SSR90 is because of all the hate he gets. Personally I have a lot of his products including several of his guns and they all work great. Why do you think he gets so much hate?
He’s the biggest airsoft UA-camr with his own company… It speaks for itself why he gets so much hate.. He’s successful, hate come naturally

do the KRYTAC 200rd mags work with the SSR90?
I think you did a good job with balance of performance and fieldability on this product. But I'm pretty sure Krytac sector, spur, and top gear on the bevel are MIM steel gears with nitride finish, only the bevel is sintered. And aren't you glad Krytac didn't go with a ETU system.
Pls, can you show more about your trigger upgrade on SSR 90?

Hey Yan, do you have any idea when the 2nd batch of the SSR90 leaves the factory? is there a specific social media page or something you can follow to get these sorts of information from? Altough you do not seem to address the issue with the magazine insert problem in your video, I have seen it other creators videos such as
TRIDOS.DESIGN's & FOX GREEN's.
The mag issue didn't bother me as much since I have so many guns and so many mags, I'm used to having to smack the mag or what not.
How does this compare to the TM P90 plus?
“Evo is best aeg” I got one a week ago and the sector gear is already stripped, returning it and buying ssr90
Love my dsg p90s. Is there a way to do a steel cutoff lever as that seems to always be the failure in 90s. Also I have the m trigger and its micro switches are actually really nice when u shim the trigger
If the SSR90 sales are good, I'd redesign the whole thing to get rid of the cutoff lever and have micro switches directly at the trigger and selector.
@@wyz2285 peruns p90 mosfet will probably have something like that. It might be good to wait for it to come out. Should be sometime this year
My local field only allows up to .25s at 350fps. There's currently no springs on his store for the ssr90. Is there other springs that will work? I'm only able to get the 1.6j version.
Any AEG spring will work, go for a good brand like Guarder.
does anyone know what spring is inside?
As a FYI, I would pay an extra $50 if Novritsch had a checkbox on the website to have the gun re-shimmed and lubed. So before shipping, novritsch techs go through the replica before shipping. I do realize you would have to hire people for this. OR novritsch has a very talented marketing and video producing team, what about an advanced tutorial series for each replica on taking it apart and reshimming? Just say in the video this will void your warranty. Please consider this before proceeding
Not a bad thought
The whole reshimming has just put me off buying completely. New to Airsoft and someone like me would damage the gun trying to make modifications to the gearbox.
Literally all the reviewers talk about is reshimming and to be told, reshim out of the box is unfortunately upsetting especially when you've had your heart set on this gun for so long now.
@@hhcollective Don't buy any AEG then, none are shimmed out of the box. Duo to tolerance of everything (gearbox shell, gear, bushings etc) you can't set a shimming value that works perfect for every gun.
@@wyz2285 I own the Evo and love it, I enjoy using it but again that was purchased based on all the various tear downs and reviews and reliability.
There isn't a single review for that gun that states it needs shimming out of the box for example (it's not perfect, people mention things like the selector switch being crap, mag issues out of the box etc but the gun and gearbox itself is generally well praised from factory without the need for shimming). Most people recommend waiting until it wears down or breaks before doing anything to the gearbox.
I'm not expecting the p90 to be perfect across everything but I would hope out of the box it doesn't have to be shimmed?
@@hhcollective And you don't have to reshim this gun. But I reshim every AEG I own because of personal standards.
Couple of questions:
-Is the nylon fibre body better than that of the cyma p90? My biggest gripe with the cyma p90 is that the plastic body creaks and flexes alot.
-Are all spare parts TM compatible?
The body is slightly heavier and is pretty solid compared to ABS body but it's still a shell, don't expect the same feel of a solid core rifle stock.
It is TM spec afaik but I really don't see which parts people look to "upgrade" beside for bragging rights.
@@wyz2285 Wouldn't want to upgrade it but if perun actually comes out with the fabled p90 mosfet I'm thinking of using the ssr90 body and hop up chamber (from the spare parts section) for my cyma p90. If the p90 mosfet is just a rumour I might just buy the ssr90 as it is.
@@Sarss_ I'd rather keep the CYMA body. Although all they are all TM ish I think you could run into alignment issues.
Did u fit the ssr90 body on the cyma pd9? I mean does it fit?
just an fyi I bought the ssr90 hopup for my cyma p90 and I found that the larger adjustment wheel does not fit in the cyma body its a bit thicker than the original. you could probably modify it with a Dremel but I haven't gotten around to that
Also can you help us understand if you can use 11.1 lipo under 1j? Pretty much every reviewer is saying...omg 27rps on 11.1 lipo but on the novritch site it says don't use 11.1 for less than 1j.
I thought the gun was fully upgraded internally so that 11.1 on less than 1j is ok to use. But if you do use this it will void the warranty? Just confusing?
Late answer, but using 11.1 v with under m100 spring can cause pre-engagement on piston and gears and cause serious damage.
@@joekkez93Nah, it'll be a-okay with ETU inside.
imo if u have some tech skills, u can buy some cybergun p90 for less than 150, install a perun etu for p90, reshim gearbox and change compression kit, fit and reshim better gears, and u have a full upgraded p90, for same price as this both options with better trigger and no propietary parts
See this is a an issue, I've been really excited about this gun, was going to be purchase along with pretty much all the accessories and you said "reshim the gun"...for someone new to Airsoft, to hear everyone go on about shimming, why isn't this something considered at factory and design? Not really comforting to hear one of the designers telling you reshim out of the box.
For someone likely me who doesn't wish mess with a new rifle out of the box outside of cleaning, it makes it hard to purchase.
I'm a big fan of yours and your honest approach but I would rather pay more for an out of the box gun that's as complete as you could get it.
A gun not being properly shimmed out of the factory is not that big of an issue as people make it seem in my opinion, gears breaking on stock guns due to bad shimming is not exactly a notorious problem in the airsoft world. Ultimately it probably all comes down to cost cutting, better shimming in the factory would require more time, reassembling and dissasembling the gearbox a handful of times on each replica manufactured would just take up too much time and lower the guns they can actually output. With that said, I still reshim all my guns and its always worthwhile to get familair with ur own gun and how it works/being able to fix and improve it.
I personally dislike influencer branded products.
I hope novritsch releases a G36c
G36, G36K and G36C would be great
