- A watered down version of the SSP5. Slightly less refined but good raw specs:
Aluminum slide set and full frame (slide set 104g);
Full steel trigger set;
TDC one piece hopup with Maple leaf silicon Autobot;
Fixed outer barrel;
Dual nozzle return spring;
Bolted together safety; - Розваги
Thanks for the video!
With the dual nozzle springs would ya recommend adding more short strokes, if so how many before misfeeding, or adding a stronger recoil spring?
love the campatability, i assume it takes TM mags as well, but would for example a limcat speedcat or similar rail fit with this lower?
I Wonder of the ssp2 slide and bbunit fit in TM slides would open up interesting options
Cool. But how about the lower? Are there any upgraded parts in it like steel components? Or is this just an upgraded upper with improved cosmetics on the lower.
interesting video🔝🔝
Hi there.very nice review...how many mm is the nozzle diameter!?15mm -14mm?!?
Love this video it opened my eye up to novritsch ssp1 now but one big question can aftermarket blowback uints fit into it?
Thos may be a rhetorical question to some people and im asking cause my 2 army armament for some reason they have 💩 and they dotn wsnt to work now so for xmas im buying a new and cutting my loses
Need a replacement slide for my Tokyo Mauri hi capa 5.1 and was wondering in the novritsch slide fit onto it
Hi, thanks for making the video. I've wondered if the SSP2 lower frame also have a steel detachable hammer pin like the SSP5? So that's the pin the hammer rotates in.
I looked on the website for the frame spare parts photos and saw that the hammer pin is one part with the frame, like the original SSP1, where the steel hammer wore down the zinc pin and was causing issues with slide sticking on the hammer. I can see that the newer SSP1/5 frame contains a separate steel hammer pin that screwes into the frame. Does the SSP2 also have this design? Thanks very much.
It's one piece with the frame.
So would the SSP2 frame be compatible with the SSP5? Specifically to take advantage of the threading on both sides of the frame because the SSP5 only having threading on the left side is a tragedy for lefties who want to use the universal holster adapter and not have to settle on the lower rail mounted version
What hop rubber shall I replace the shock one with? It's very soft and the plastic shroud doesn't seem to fit over something like an autobot.
Any chance at an integrated tracer like the ssp5?
Can you short stroke this gun?
I wish we could change the front sight on it
You know what mount type the sight plate uses?
Are the sear, hammer, and firing pin compatible with TM spec?
Yes
Will it take TM mags
could you show how to strip it?
Hey mate,I wanna ask you something,I’m planning into getting a slide for my TM hi capa and I really like the SSP1 or SSP2 cause they cheap (basically a KJW on steroids) can you help me a bit? Maybe make a video of a full conversion
Check my video on how to upgrade a TM hicapa
@@wyz2285does the ssp2 magwell fit in a TM 4,3 ?
Any idea if the ssp2 grip part is compatible with the ssp1?
I was wondering the same thing. The ssp2 has nice grip options. Would love to know if it’s tm/ssp1 compatible
Man can you please help me, i am planiing buying my first side arm but i cant decide between the ssp2 or the ssp18 which one have better internals, which was is more reliable which one will be a better choice?
SSP2 has better internals, SSP18 has full auto. Full auto in a GBB pistol is not very useful IMO but depends on you. If full auto isn't too important for you I'd get the ssp2
@@wyz2285 thank you very much man you are the only one that explain to me, can you please give me more information of the internals between ssp18 en ssp2 sorry is my first side arm snd i recently start airsoft 1 year ago.
@@ramirovalle93 There are different systems so it's not comparable. I have a video regarding ssp18 as well, you can check it for more info.
But why make a new pistol? Ssp1 already has all that except for tdc hop, nozzle and bolted safety. For lighter slide there's the cut out slide, make new one with those materials or make a polymer one.
Yeah can confirm the SSP2 Outer barrel is not TM compatible at all
In which part of the video did I say the outer barrel can fit TM slides? I did not.
@@wyz2285 You're absolutely right, you did not mention that. I made the assumption because I figured it would be weird that the SSP2 upper can fit TM lowers and vice versa, but the outer barrel would not. I feel like this is a missed opportunity that could be monopolized. Regardless, I was able to get the SSP2 outer barrel to fit the limited edition SpeedQB slide and works amazingly. Found that the threads on the outer barrel is not standard 11ccw, but is 12ccw instead? Is there a reason for this?
What was the fitment issue with the SSP2 outer barrel on a stock TM slide? Was the diameter too wide or did it have other fitment issues? 6:20 in the video shows at least it fitting on the TM frame, but I'm curious what issues you had since I'm also thinking of buying the SSP2 outer barrel for my TM spec hicapa.
@@BisqcateerSeems I may not be the only who made the same assumption. It will not fit TM compatible slides as the bottom part of the outer barrel is enlarged and wont fit. The video mentions that the outer barrel fits TM frames but I had trouble fitting one of my TM frames with the SSP2 outer barrel, had to switch it out with another but it was a tight fit and had to be literally slapped together, this could however just be the fault of on my frames though. Besides that it fits KJW frames perfectly well. Again, Im not sure why it was not made to fit TM slides as I feel that this is a missed opportunity.
@@yonyon8667 Hmm interesting, thanks for the info. I still might try it out since the outer barrel and hopup chamber assembly is only $24 on the Novritsch site lol. Tight fitting on the frame isn't too much of an issue and I am actually planning on testing this out on an Army Armament hicapa so there may be looser tolerances to the TM hopefully. My barrel's got a ton of slop in the AA slide, so hopefully that gives it enough room to fit the SSP2 outer barrel without too much modification.
