I met Pete when he was on Celeb Big Brother, Not a fan of the show but friends had tickets for the commentary show and I was in the audience. Had pics with Pete and got his autograph, so down to earth he was.
Pete was such a beautiful person. He so glamorous and breathtaking, especially in this video. He was the human definition of ethereal. He had such a unique beauty inside and out that deserved to be treasured, he was so under appreciated in his lifetime. His style and music were unlike anything else. Every one of his songs sounds unique and unlike any other songs by any band or singer and he will always be my favorite singer because of that. He is so amazing to me. Sometimes I feel sad that he isn’t alive anymore.. he was such a light in this world and gone too soon.

Why was he so under appreciated in the music industry? Yes, “Sin Me” was a hit but if you take a second to focus on his vocals, the depth and angelic sound the man produces it’s mind blowing. He got me through high school 09-12. Huge fan. He should’ve been known for more of his music. This whole album is 🔥. In terms of the surgery, I remember he said he wasn’t trying to look like a female but he looked stunningly perfect here. He should’ve stopped here but I think he had body image issues. He did say he saw himself as an “art form” this was my fav look.

I was so sad when he passed away and seeing this video now….made me realize after all this time I put his passing away out of my mind. I can’t accept death and I block it out my mind for time. Until I’m ready mentally. I actually still imagine the person is still with us and then reality comes in and I kinda accept it…..after never watching this video until now on 1-2-24 I noticed the love interest….the black guy on the horse has on a Jean Paul Gaultier velvet bolero jacket and I own the exact same jacket. Wow what a connection to Pete Burns whom I admired. It’s like he sent me a message telling I’m going to be ok because I don’t well good today. But I feel a little better now. That's miles off. Deeper and Deeper was inspired by disco, Philadelphia soul and flamenco. It's nothing like this, which sounds more like it's been influenced by some of stuff coming out of the Rave scene in the UK in the early 90s. If anything, Madonna might ask why Pete Burns tried to rip off the video to Vogue.
