I've learned so much from you since finding your channel a few days ago! I really appreciate your point scoring system. So many pet owners want to do the right thing food-wise, yet so many dog food manufactories don't exactly make it easy for us! Knowledge is power!

I feed my 2 year old, 22 pound a cup of food a day. And, he doesn't eat all that sometimes. He grazes his food. His weight is perfect per Vet .

Thank you so much for doing this. I didn’t do the conversions properly and thought this food was much better than it is.
Just have to decide whether to switch now or wait until I change to adult food.
I also swear I read about feeding trials on the website, but don’t see it now.
You can just wait until adult if it’s not that far off

You are so nice, I will post the short, nice version of a study by the NIH, "Effects of the long-term feeding of diets enriched with inorganic phosphorus on the adult feline kidney and phosphorus metabolism." Dec. 21, 2018. Basically, the study found that organic phosphorus and calcium, from fresh food, has much lower bioavailability in dogs and cats. As long as the Ca:P ratio is maintained, there are few if any problems. Inorganic sources, as found in commercial pet food, are what cause kidney problems. How is Carmen's training going? Hi,can you tell me please if you know why is different ingredients Hill's dog food for USA and for EU,for example, Hill's sensitive stomach and skin for USA has in first few ingredients chicken,chicken meal,peas......and for EU is rice,corn,chicken and turky meal....

I used to feed TLC. The issue with the company is they are a MLM. They give breeders kick backs. The breeder I used said as long as I stick with tlc I have a 4 year health guarantee.

There is no standard for large breed adult, it’s the same as regular adult or senior

TLC puppy formula is just for puppies not all life stages and the other line is for all life stages.....
I’m going by the AAFCO statement Wich is the legal verbiage as to what the food is actually substantiated for, not what the food is marketed towards. Not sure if it matters but this is an MLM food where many breeders require you to feed this to a puppy they sell to maintain health contract. They get a % if the sales
That is one reason I would not buy this food or buy from a breeder that pushes it
