My husband gave me one for Christmas to use as a strap for my leather Berliner Bag purse. I love it!!! He was able to make it the perfect length. Kinda makes me wish I hadn’t bought the 12 other fabric straps on Amazon lol This one is definitely my favorite!!

You guys should make watch straps. I'd totally buy a chromexcel strap in racing style

The lasso link strap is a great design especially being made of such high quality sturdy leather it would make for a great guitar strap. I hope attachments to fix it to a guitars strap pins are made down the line, it'd be an instant buy for me.

Got my orders a while ago, but my wife didn't open them until Christmas and then actually attach her purse until New Year's. I needed two to make the strap long enough because she wears her purse crossbody.
After putting it together, the tether link's design impressed me the most, with the way the long strap slides through the link to loop itself shut as the last link of the strap and then back on itself to buckle and attach the camera (or in my wife's case, the purse) with no other hardware. Made a great gift!

Just confirmed that the link ends will work with the Peak Design AL-4 Anchor Links. It is nice having quick disconnects to mount and unmount my camera from my straps.

Could be used as a rifle strap as well.

This is a clever design. It could easily be sold as a women's belt as well. All it would need is a new end piece and a big belt buckle. It would also make a good hand bag strap. There are a lot of possibilities for this design.

Very cool showing us the way the links are made. Reminds me of when, 30+ years ago I worked in a paper mill and we would run huge die making presses to make cardboard boxes and photo frames. With paper though, we had a static positive (the blade dies) and the moving negative (the pop out post jig) - with wooden pins - to push out the extra center holes and wooden fills to hold the main sheets down so they didn't tear when the jig pressured through the cardboard.

I love it! I would definitely recommend doing a smaller ring/thinner leather option for lighter weight rigs or those needing a bit more compactness. The design is solid though. Well done!

Looks cool, for sure but I would need to test it by myslef (for longer period of time) to see if this design is good or not.

How are you planning on selling this? As a complete strap, or components? I’d love to see the option of having the components available individually for the consumer to buy what they need for their own intended purpose. The assembly process seems pretty labor intensive, but something that someone who had a mind to would be able to accomplish without special tools.

Why not just ship it fully disassembled? If Ikea can do it so can you, it would give better margins too.
