I am still having the sweetest LETTERING HANG OVER from staying up all night practicing my letters. I was afraid to stop, thinking if I stopped and went to bed, I'd wake up and all of that joy was just a dream and I'd be back crying over impossible O's and upper case P-s, lower case A-s and all those ovals and connections I had practiced all night.... would be GONE. You are such a GREAT teacher! Until my practice sheets arrive from amazon (since Michael's literally had NO guide paper or books, basically only sold the pens and markers. Calligraphy is sadly a dying art. 😔😕) I will be using your videos to practice 😊🤓 you're very imformative

I must little disagree. Your "a" is pretty and mine "a" is the same as pretty as yours, even if I write it like "c" and than down stroke. I am not telling this for some bad reason, there is still so much I need to learn in caligraphy, I just think there in no wrong or right way in caligraphy. Yes, there are some rules you must follow, like thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes, if you want your letters look like caligraphy/handlettering, but at the end, everyone need to find their own style of writing, style of letters, so... I, for example, like printed neat letters, so I use them when I write normaly. And I use similar writing style for my caligraphy too. So... I love my style, some letters are still changing, but as I said, I found my style and I am happy with it :) But this video can deffinitely helps some people ;)

How in the world can you just crank out perfect oval after perfect oval😢?? I can write all God darn day and make 1 out of 1000 attempts!
