Too bad, I think John is even more important to H&O. Check out the b-sides of Hall&Oates, they much better then the hits. John has philosophic view of the his life that is very true and wise. I am willing to bet that "unamed" person he spoke of was Daryl possibly ignoring Johns ideas/thought on Daryl's diminishing voice.
