I think just another watch using the same OS, after Skagen and fossil.. still nice tho, i got my fossil hybrid; thin, decent, clean design
These smart watches are pretty incredible but not really a watch more an extention of your phone .
Looks like a decent option for those wanting tech on the wrist. I never found them useful. Basically just a notification annoyance on the wrist and I still need my phone for phone stuff. Looks good though. I like the blue one.
You can get weather for your house location and forecast, text messages, steps, heart rate, . . . . . and battery lasts 2 weeks plus
@@goldslinger My phone gives me all that minus the heart rate, lol, which isn't an issue for me. I have a fitness device I wear for those needs, with a two to three year battery. A watch is just a watch for me, not a tech interruption.
You have to turn off features to extend to the 15 days.
I have a question: Why is the time not set in the watch on the iPhone? The difference is an hour
Why do you recommend to "obviously" not buy the black version?
Hybrids with analog hands are getting there.. I would not wear an Apple watch even if paid to do it. But I would wear this if gifted to me. So maybe in another year they will convince me to spend money.
Gotta say, a Citizen smartwatch inspires a helluva lot more confidence than say....a Tag but I have idealogical objections to a tiny wrist worn spy, but this is pretty good looking for the genre, better than.....Tag again forinstance but my fave is the Moser vanta black Apple troll, or would be if I could afford it.
I just bought this watch and I love it.only thing is it doesn’t light up which i thought it did.it says my hue light is disconnected.Am I missing something??

Im still waiting for someone to make a smartwatch that looks like a watch (this is cool looking) and it's manageable with its size but has decent water resistance (100m at least). I know g shock has one but it's big, gawdy and too complicated.
The Withings ScanWatch is a Bauhaus styled watch in 38 & 42mm sizes. 30 day battery life, the reviews show that's not a wild claim. Just recently released, there are many reviews around. 50m water resistant rather than 100, but still fine for light swimming.
Fossil did it first!!! And at a much more affordable price!!!

I believe citizen bought Bulova and Fossil in the last couple years.
Just had a look for this watch on the UK Citizen site and the UK version looks nothing like this. This one is much better looking. The search continues…
The previous version (out a year ago +/-) had a flat screen and no hands -- it's probable they just have not released this in the UK quite yet. (Might be something about adapting to driving on the left and sealing out splashes of takeaway curry)

Not sure if it’s any help but I have a withings scanwatch. It has analog hands, a lot of smart watch features and I get between 2-3 weeks battery, sometimes a bit longer if I am not using it to track workouts as much.
I love the look. I am interested in this citizen one but as soon as they say ‘integrated silicone strap’ i wince. Metal, nylon or leather straps only for me. The withings one came with silicone but I swapped it out for a nylon one (v easy to do) and it’s awesome. Have a look!!!

I got this in the mail and it is Not worth the $300+ sticker price. And why the h*** is it a B&W display? Are we in the 90s over again?
So the battery will last 2 weeks and tap crystal twice for backlight

‘Monochromatic so it won’t take up a ton of battery life’… right in the review. And why it’s ‘B&W’ as @goldslinger was pointing out. I’ll have to check it out to see how legible it is.
@@hangpilot1200 I have an Amazfit that has awesome colored screen, could be as good as the Apple Watch or Samsung watch, very responsive and accurate and the battery life lasts for 3 weeks and it was a $100
Never cared for these types of watches.
