    Paleaku Gardens is absolutely beautiful. All the different varieties of plants (and that view!) definitely make it a must-do if you’re in that area. 🤙🏻

    Hey guys, always enjoy your videos. The one thing I’m always wanting, but you never show is a locator map. Could you consider doing that? Thanks Steve

    My husband and I just bought a home in Kona and we have been retired for many years and we decided that we wanted to be in a spiritual and beautiful place. We have traveled much of the world and done some amazing things. So I have to tell you not to discourage retired people from coming to this amazing place. We have visited the Hawaiian islands since the 80s and this is where we want to be. I appreciate your wonderful videos and the lessons and places you show everyone. I will be sure to connect up with you when we take up residence in mid May.

    I thought the birthplace of the King K was on the north part of the island.

    Was there in 1973 don't remember much of Kona being in the Service. We were west Honokaa in a Boy Scout building a building for them.

    We will be hitting up the Green Flash on our next trip since we typically stay at the Royal Sea Cliff right down the street. And that garden looks like a must do on the next trip. We’ve gone to the Ali’i market many times, a nice outdoors place to shop. Mahalo

      We lived in Tahoe for a year and created a snow boarding freak, but we figure he can go live there any time he wants to..no more snow for us!

    I've always heard that Hawi was King Kamehameha's birth place. Have I been misinformed?

    Great video! Really enjoy you guys, great escapism from the current situation. Can't wait to get out in the "arena" again, but presently locked down with a stay home order! Let's hope we can get to Hawaii in July but depends on reopening of US border!

    I really enjoyed your video. I always look forward to watching them. I'm 44 and hoping to move to the big Island in the next 8 years. Would 52 be too late in life to move there in your opinion?

    • @365Hawaii
      @365Hawaii  3 роки тому +2

      Not at all! I used to think mid-fifties was old! As long as you stay fit and don;t end up with major health complications, you will love life here in your fifties! Keep your eye on the prize and stay well!

    Let's here the story on how your son was bite in the face by a dog?? My dog bite a child I was babysitting in the face. He needed surgery and his mom sued our insurance company. We put our cocker spanial dog down.

    • @365Hawaii
      @365Hawaii  3 роки тому

      A friends Cocker Spaniel mix was alone with my 20 month old son and we heard him yelp. My husband went to see what was up and then came to me holding my son and said we needed to go to the hospital. I see my son has a gash under his eye and blood was coming out of his ear! I thought he had a brain injury! The dog had hooked one part of its jaw to my sons cheek and the other to his ear and bit down. Six stitches and a terrible mom experience later..The owner was mortified, but ultimately blamed my son, refused to pay for the hospital visit and that was the end of our friendship.
