Hey I just got this welder and had the same issue it took me forever to figure it out but the spot/stitch setting in the lower right corner of the screen needs to be switched to off. I hope that helps
Yeah you're right, that thing is basically a spot timer but I'm not really sure what I would use the stitch for. How do you guys like the mig gun it came with? Did yours only come with 2 extra contact tips as well or is that just me
@@heheitme Does seem like poor communication by Seller, but minor; wondering if you reached out to Everlast before posting? At least just about everything in the way of settings on their machines is user-changeable, unlike Apple (example: 9 minute Reminder snooze) and GM (example: radio comes on by default EVERY time you start up the vehicle).
@@replyhere590 I did reach out to them about that and also about it not wanting to actually weld for like first 10 minutes of use … their response was “read the manual and/or take a local welding how to course” … for doing MIG I have to run it for about 10 minutes on a piece of scrap metal before I can use it on the actual project metal or it will just glob on with no penetration … but once it “warms up” it will weld great until it sits over night
Thanks for the video!

what ended up heing the cause of the problem?
I seen someone else have that problem their whip was not correctly seated and tighten down properly
It looks like a nice machine. How do you like it so far ?
I love it - it's a beast. Great beginner welder, albeit expensive.
Can it fit a 33lb spool of wire?
