Saw a comment on another video and he perfectly described prismatic, the builds only do good solo because you depend on kills to refresh and keep your powered melee and grenades once there’s multiple people involved everyone is competing to get the kills and everyone’s loop and build is basically ruined, hope exotic class mods can fix this issue and if not I guess we gotta find a way around it
yh i noticed a lot, prismatic on paper seems good but once you realise your losing on other elements of the "full build" from there respective subclass you actually end up more shoehorned into a setup than before
Exotic class mods don’t really help ability regen aside from inmost light.
Prismatic is a gimmick to sell final shape
Literally why I love running stronghold and leaving the dirty job to others, at least until things get really messy.
@@arcus9590I still think they should’ve given us a proper 3rd darkness sub then dropped prismatic as a surprise after beating the raid.
So Melee kickstart doesnt work with any melee with more than one charge. Basically the mod gives you a bump in energy when fully consuming your melee. Meaning you have 0% melee charge. But since you technically always have a melee charge charging you never hit 0% exactly so the mod wont function. It wont even consume your charges.
What mod would you recommend instead? i'm just using font of vigor rn but not sure if thats optimal
You can argue that this is fine and that it exists in the build to help when you have exhausted all your melee charges. The armor charges can then be held onto for this break glass situation
@@NickOngpauco the point the guy made though is because of how the charges work, the chance you actually hit 0 meele energy to activate the mod is almost slim to none, you will most likely be left with 1-20% meele energy on the final charge, meaning the mod still doesnt activate
@@NickOngpauco It still wont work, even if you exhaust all your charges you will technically be at 1-2% of a charge and not exactly 0% because as soon use the first charge it begins charging.
@@mikesta90 I usually run grenade kickstart for my multiple charge builds. Plus for this build specifically you will have your suppressor grenade up more which is great
The titan prismatic kit is so boring compared to the other classes. I feel like everything you can do on prismatic titan you could do better on the original subclasses
Or on hunter who as usual has a better melee gameplay loop than the "melee class"

@@QuellTheHeresyTitan is my main but I’ve played more hunter than my titan this expansion just because of how fun it is to run the arc melee chaining combo with slow Dodge and golden gun celestial. It’s just **chefs kiss**
have you played much prismatic warlock, most of the aspects are ones that summon little buddies to kill things for you aka the game playing itself which isnt very fun imo. ive put some fun warlock builds together but honestly it feels like bungie is almost forcing warlock to do just one thing and then having a few paths into a small pool of builds that are different but mostly the same as each other.
100% agree. I eat crayons with the best of em but Prismatic Hunter is too good...and I dont have the exotic class item.
Honestly this build is really good if you replace knockout with drengrs lash and abeyant. You become super tanky with constant woven mail and insane crowd control. Plus it helps you hit transcendence way more quickly to keep ability spamming. Give it a shot.
I'm really loving using Hazardous with thruster, and whatever you want. (I'm using auto reverb (or demo) lost signal, and a arc AR with dragons breath for damage)
Titans got shafted with prismatic. The other characters seem to have got their meta/more powerful aspects put into prismatic like stylish executioner or bleak watcher, Titans don’t have an S tier aspect for prismatic.
Titans have always been pretty useless...
Prismatic Titan has pre-nerf Knockout, that aspect is undeniably S-Tier💀
Not gonna lie brother bleak watcher might be the most boring aspect warlocks have available. Don't get me wrong it's good but it's the least fun build we have

@@opiumdou9885 knockout is the best one out of the titan aspects, however it’s not on the level of ones mentioned for other characters.
Shocker, consecration prismatic titan
Worth noting that this build can do some decent damage to melee-range bosses using transcendance: your trascendant grenade suspends, which procs facet of courage for consecration that now recharges really fast. 2 melees 1 grenade is the optimal rotation, and you can add a suport or DOT weapon in between, like tractor, anarchy or a wolfpack ergo sum.
This way you can use long range add clear weapons if needed. Doesnt work everywhere, but is an interesting way to play
Prismatic seems a bit dull?
Like in concept it seems cool. But it runs in direct conflict with the mono element theme bungie has been pushing for these last few years
Prismatic is kind of a let down at least. Thats fair to say. It really is just hybrid builds. In most cases its a jack of all trades master of none situation. Prismatic is supposed to be an ad clear subclass. That already shows it has inherent limitations.
@@kingcurmudgeon8685well at least for solar hunter and prismatic hunter, Prismatic hunter can do better add clear and better overall damage than solar hunter.
You still have access to restoration from orbs of power, and since you can apply weekend with your grenade or melee, as a solo player you can do more damage with your celestial nighthawk then solar can ever dream of.
I was thinking that Prismatic was lacking but then when I went back to Arc or Strand or void Hunter I realized that Prismatic hunter had the best of all those things and the same survivability

It's synthos or HOIL, anything else in the bin tbh.
@@QuellTheHeresy wormgod also sees some uses, but wormgod is basically syntho with another condition.
Also see some people using point cannon brace if they dont go consecration.. but yeah its silly that the subclass all about mixing and matching other elements has such a poor build diversity on titan, because we dont get the health sustain aspects out of knockout... on a melee class that has to gt into punching range of enemies.

instead of the sytho perk on the class item you could also go for the point contact perk so your consecrations apply jolt which is 10 times cooler. ontop of being very powerfull against champoins

@@kirga4914 They are. I love Ehroar but this is just yapping. Titans had abysmal participation Statistics in SE Contest, despite "broken builds".
So I did some testing because I was getting really high ignition damage numbers. If you slam point blank on an enemy the ignition isn't buffed by melee buffs. But if you slam away from them and let the wave from the slam hit them then the ignition is buffed.

I want to try it with spirit of contact. I'm thinking even the first wave will apply the damaging lightning strike to everything around you plus jolting them. I'm thinking ads will all be instant gone of the first wave alone so that's nice. Then the full slam will also add damage and jolt.

Lies. HOIL works while Prismatic is up, and I did a build with that
I'd like to add some context: In the first 50 clears of salvations edge Titans had a Sub 10% Presence across all Encounters, if we only count Witness clears it drops to 0,5% presence. Teams that did use any Titans at any point, had an automatically worse placement over Teams that didn't have any Titans.
is this saying titans are weak in general or just saying titans have a very tough time in salvations edge. i think salvations edge (mainly witness fight) is very unkind to titans
@@truv_titans seem to have a pretty tough time in most raids I think, especially prismatic titans. Banner of war titans are quite a big exception but even they struggle a lot at long range, and titans don’t seem to have any good builds that work well at range

PSA to all multi-consecration Titan enjoyers, please be aware that consecration does indeed have a hidden ICD (internal cooldown) timer. So don't go trying to pop all your charges at once or you will be severely underwhelmed. Have fun
As a titan main we have some of the most boring builds that just work no fancy combos with exotics no fancy moves we can pull off just boring slide and punch yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.... Hunter has been so fun this dlc

i am having so much fun with breachlight with threadling on prismatic warlock with swarmers, it is just a threadling army build but way cooler
If you run this build with the exotic class item and spirit of assassin and spirit of synthoceps, you basically got assassins cowl right there

Yep and 1 hunter build and 1 warlock build if you are asking for ultimate solo Survivability/Damage. I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. There will always be a best build. There a multiple builds that you can use to do many activities. But if you want the absolute best survivability when you solo with the most DPS then yes there's 1.
I mean its good, but it falls apart as soon you can't get close to the enemy. Honestly I would use this with the new gaunlet for a fourth slam.

I think the bayonet on monte carlo is way better than people give it credit for. Its actually able to do some pretty busted things like outright instantly delete certain objects and constructs in the game while not consuming the special melee. The "whiff" animation is still an attack and as long as you don't trigger the lock on stab animation you can keep swinging it. Try using it on the fallen glimmer extractors, vehicles, Anything you have to shoot to break. its great.
This build with exotic class item inmost light and canon brace gonna be more dope
I would just use a pugilist + incandascent combo primery instead, wasting exotic slot on midcarlo is just dumb imo

I agree with your stance on using weapons to help balance a build and i feel like bungie makes adjustments/nerfs to ability regen in hope that we will use weapons for that exact reason!

PSA: I did testing on carl and the ignition damage is getting buffed by synthos dunno if bungie shadow buffed that or som but I literally have footage of the ignition dealing 115,000 with just synthos on.
Point contact brace is really good too i used it to solo legendary final shape excellent add clear and major/boss damage and jolt every where

I was using this on day one. If surrounded you one shot EVERYTHING except the bosses.

5:00 You dont have to use monte carlo, just use literally ANY weapon with pugilist and you'll be fine. The kings fall pulse is a great weapon for example, and can roll pugilist/swashbuckler.
As for what perks you should use on the exotic class item, assassins cowl + syntho will let you go invisible on every consecration kill, severance + syntho will make any enemy you kill with consecration explode, and HOIL + syntho will just let you spam it more often. Any of those 3 will be good, but personally I'd take HOIL
Yeah, HOIL seems like the better option. Anything in severance range would already be killed by the ignition and consecration is a bit weird when activating melee stuff like Assassin's. With HOIL, you can have your shackle nade ready more often to further buff consecration
Does one two punch buff the bayonet? Like if you shotgun swapped to Monte Carlo?

Glacier grenade can be a nice addition as well. You’re already running the fragment that buffs shatter. It can be the darkness debuff for facet of courage. Consecration will shatter the crystals for you. Since consecration will fill your light transcendence bar it’s helpful to have a damaging darkness grenade to help fill the darkness bar.
I’ve been using the shackle because I’ve personally been having issues with shattering the crystals with consecration
This is what I use, also keep a wave frame GL to blow the shards up
Nah without the fragment that increases primary ammo to stasis crystals there's absolutely no reason to not just run suppressor because it's the shortest cooldown lol, you can just consecration the enemy.
@@QuellTheHeresy I need something for darkness damage and stasis crystals go brrrrr. I’ve only used it in low dif content so far though, so I’m probably gonna try something new for harder content when I get to the point where it’s not working for me.
@@koaladontkare9883 the call is the best in slot and is strand, it's basically a primary with it's ammo economy, I've been using the call+ graviton lance+ stasis rocket and you get your charge incredibly quickly.
Radiant is in the artifact to clear that fragment at least for this season
the artifact one lasts for 10 while the fragment is only 5 secs (which is basically useless)

You still get melted in high end content, unlike Hunter and Warlock which have comfortable survivability on prismatic.
Titan = need to get in melee range to consecrate, can't get in melee range without dying
1st encounter of contest raid I was running this demolishing whole rooms with no chance of dying. 1 shot overload champs without stunning them. It's not that hard to stay alive in high end content especially with knockout.

Kickstarts do not work with multiple grenades or melees

Read the description again: fully depleting
Having multiple charges means other charges and the regen you get while using the first two charges disable the kickstart before it activates
Plus, they nerfed the energy return of kickstart mods so it's less value for the mod slot (you can probably get faster Transcendent grenades?)
Not sure it's worth making builds for prismatic untill the exotic marks are out
Titans would have needed AT LEAST Banner of War and Touch of Thunder Storm Grenades and Throwing Hammer to have any Sort of Viability.
Dead on arrival for the raid or any hard content. Titan Prismatic is half baked.

Monte carlo + Titan has been my favourite pairing since D2 came out. It just feels right to me, even when its not even close to meta.
Its good fun with synthoceps, skullfort, dunemarchers and others. Theres a lot of fun ways to make the same build core tick.

I don’t know about broken, seems kinda par for course if you were running a solar build, minus the extra melee charges. Still playing through Prismatic, and I’m not really finding anything I really like to build around. Consecration with Frenzied Blade is great because it works and you have 3 charges. Pretty easy to build around, not exactly broken. I might need to unlock more fragments and get the exotic class item for my Titan, but overall I’m kinda feeling like Prismatic is the class I’m using just in case I have prismatic enemies, not because its doing anything really different from what we already have.
Is there an alternative for monte carlo for this? I know it makes the build but I wanna rock Microcosm too :(
The biggest reason I like prismatic titan is simply bc you can use thruster with any super. I still think thruster should be on any sub outside of Prismatic though but w.e. can’t win them all.
Especially since barricade is so utterly worthless in almost every possible situation

Problem with prismatic across the board is that theres only one actual good build. Outside of that is really hard to make it work. Bungie has got to buff it and add other supers and aspects.

I've been having fun by abusing unbreakable with dominance, since pulse grenade proc jolt and the frontal blast of unbreakable proc weaken.
Prismatic might not be the best subclass but seeing your character display and use different colors of shinning lights is awesome.

@@DEJNO1 I thought at first it doesn't work too, but that's just the visuals of the spirit of severance. Theres like no big explosion like you would assume, the enemies around the one that you kill with a melee just drop dead

Ngl i don’t understand why not put everything we have into prismatic? just combine all the sub classes into one. it would’ve been way more fun, and it wouldn’t even like mess with anything. my friend sho is warlock main hates it because his forced to use well in the raid, but he also can’t use transcendence because the super isn’t on there.
i just feel it would be so much better, because we can like an endless amount of different builds we can create, which is something that i always had the most fun with destiny. the current prismatic is kinda restrictive.
the main thing is... if there was full access, what would be the point of all other subclasses? They might as well be removed if you do this, because there would be no point in running anything else than prismatic even if you focus on a single element
agree prismatic should have access to more options... but maybe not literally all of them

@@digital_nex2247 think at this point in the game lifespan... Just no. Maybe in destiny 3, but removing all subclasses in a game as old as destiny 2 just doesnt feel right. Also would likely make balancing even more of a nightmare than it already is...
@@thorveim1174 YOU ARE NOT DELETING THEM. you are moving them into prismatic nothing is being removed, you can still rock full arc, void, solar, stasis and strand. but you can actually have more build variety, and way more different combos. Again nothing is being removed all the supers, abilities, fragments and aspects are being moved into prismatic so you can build the way you want to play as you desire. and don’t bring that balancing bs as if we aren’t already op, the only way the can make the raids harder is literally with hard mechanics(which nothing is wrong with that i like it)

To be fair, there are no activities in the game as hard as that contest mode. You can run builds like this in pretty much most, if not all, activities right now and have success

I hate seeing any sort of melee build be called broken and then have the entire build be extremely reliant on Monte Carlo. I like having a strong build and strong weapons. Monte Carlo is just a weak weapon that acts as a bandaid on weak builds to make them strong.
Why use facet of blessing when knockout heals you itself? Maybe could swap for another fragment?
Because Knockout doesn't start health regeneration. It only gives you chunks of health based off of tier/number of enemies killed.
@gunfuprojekt the health regeneration can be disrupted by damage, this is part of the reason why knockout was changed to work like tbe latter
@@chungusultimate Yes I'm aware. It's still health regeneration. Getting a chunk of health plus health regeneration is very noticable if you can avoid damage for even a half a second.

Unpopular opinion. I’m loving prismatic Titan with point contact cannon brace or hazardous propulsion with thrusters. Hazardous propulsion with thrusters > twilight garrison 😊 TG can be used every few seconds though.
Problem is when people take your kills right before your charged melee goes off! Thunderclap needs to be instant

First of all. Ehroar i missed you. For me you are the best destiny 2 youtuber EVER. i love your builds, i love your playstyle i love your videos with direct information. Second of all, i don't really like titan, but you made me want to play it. amazing build. good job :P
