This just popped up on my feed & it brought me back & made me feel all the feels again with the tears. Which makes me know why this came up - God has us cry to clean our lenses so we see through clearer eyes. This is one of my favorite Tim McGraw songs.
My first car was a dark green 1996 Honda Accord 4 door V6 with a sunroof. Loved that car. So many good memories in that old car driving around blasting music with friends hanging out the windows and roof, lol
Sometimes tough decisions, though jointly made, have unintended consequences. Sometimes it's easier to distance than to be constantly reminded of choices you wish you hadn't made. Regret's a bitch.
There was a lot of controversy around the release of this song, people were saying it was promoting abortion, but if you listen to the song he regrets how things turned out. In fact it ended their relationship because they couldn't cope with the aftermath.
That’s not accurate. If you know anything about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, they are Christian liberals. It’s more about that decision being a HUGE decision; maybe one they will never forget - but not necessarily one they regret. Not at all. Cheers.
1977 Chevy Monza baby blues they only made the Monza for a few years, it was a fun car. I sold it 3 years after I got it for a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe.
My first vehicle was a 1972 flat bed ton chevy dually. Loved that truck. I miss that truck every day. I have a 2019 Sentra and Nicky's truck (1999 chevy single wheel ton) that I will never get rid of but I wish I still had my flat bed ton. I pulled horse trailers everywhere with that thing.
My 1st car was 1976 duster I bought when I was 15. That started me off on the love of working on cars and trucks. Even went to tech school for auto mechanics. With the industry of auto repair I couldn’t do it. Grad in 92 and got cdl license in 1998 and been driving ever since.
2:11 Oh she gon' be saying something like that alright. I don't know if it counts 'cause I don't own it but I'm driving an '01 Mazda MPV right now and I'm the only one driving it. Bright red minivan gotta love it. The dang thing's a few months older than me
1995 Isuzu trooper. Had a 5 speed stick in it and seated 5 legally but I believe we could fit about 10 people in it and booze cruise around in high school. Good times wish I still had it
My first car was a 1969 Pontiac Le Mans convertible. That car could fly! You could steer it with you pinky finger at 100 mph. I miss that car more than anything!
My first car was a white 97 Honda Accord I put chrome rims on it Had 2 10 inch subs in the trunk Shook the whole car I damn sure miss that front wheel drive Never got stuck when driving it
My first car was a 1991 Chevy Lumina, straight up grandma car, but I loved it. This song has always made me cry. All of us make decisions the best we can in the moment and even if you know it's the right decision you still may regret it. Please react to "Highway Don't Care" by Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.
This song really gets to me. My ex told me she was pregnant back when I was 19 and she was just about to turn 18. I am 32 now and have not seen her since she told me that. She just kind of disappeared and no idea where she is now. Not positive if she was actually pregnant or what happened. Would love to see her today but pretty sure she got married and changed her last name so I just don't think I will ever find out what all happened to her again 😞
Take it from the female side of this & know that if she made the same decision, she disappeared because it was harder to see your face but she thinks of you and you never left her heart. I know this comment was a long time ago & I hope you don’t get mad I am injecting myself but this song hits me hard too.
This album “Tim McGraw and The Dancehall Doctors” is recorded w/ Tim’s touring band (The Dancehall Doctors). Solid Gold, every song a hit. Put it on and not have to skip a song! Billy, Tim covers Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” ...should check it out!
“Speak My Mind” by The Willis Clan (about being abused by their father) “American Bad Dream” by Kane Brown (about corruption in our society) “Learning” by Kane Brown (about learning to let go of the negatives and hurt of your past)
This song was a little contraversial when it came out because of the abortion reference. I think Tim got credit though for addressing something that many people could relate to. My 1st car was a 1969 red convertible VW Bug with a black top.
My first car was a 1975 or 76.. memory has failed me.. GMC Gremlin. I was a senior in high school and my Dad and I painted it a gorgeous midnight blue with metallic specks.
Great song. Thanks. For this song. Women right to choose. Love you Tim ❤️❤️❤️😊
but the child doesn't get a say.

There was a lot of controversy around the release of this song, people were saying it was promoting abortion, but if you listen to the song he regrets how things turned out. In fact it ended their relationship because they couldn't cope with the aftermath.
And the year it came out abortion was even more controversial than it is today. That really says a lot.
That’s not accurate. If you know anything about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, they are Christian liberals. It’s more about that decision being a HUGE decision; maybe one they will never forget - but not necessarily one they regret. Not at all. Cheers.
@Lisa Bisa no the second time they were talking and she was begging him not to stop loving her for their decision to have an abortion
Most relationships at that age fizzle out and you reminisce about them regardless.
