The small bags could easily be guests gifts bags if you receive for Christmas our other event. You place one at each person seat in between utensils and put a little treat in each. Perhaps chocolate or else…I think my guest will be trilled with their gift this year! Thanks for the idea Nicole
I'm loving the smallest bag for sewing clips! You can open and reach to grab then toss in the clip as you're finishing your project. The snap closure closes it nicely. Thanks for these!
This is a fantastic idea! I made 2, much larger, for Xmas gifts. One was made from cork and one from cotton and lined. They are for artists sketch pads and included zip pouch for pencils. 🐾
I love these (and all the others for the 12 days so far!). Fun and quick projects. Thank you Nicole! ❤ (ashamed to admit I hadn’t joined your fab group - I really thought I had! So I’ve now requested to join). Loving your hair too - totally rocks ❤❤
Thanks for the video’s - another suggestion for the interior would be laminated cotton. Also one could bind the two side seams with bias tape to finish off the interior.
I had that thought and I did try one seam. I didn’t love the look of the binding showing at the top of the bag after it was done. Love the idea of the laminated cotton!
Awe....this is right up my alley! Love nesting bags and this is super adorable and a quick sew! Going to quilt some up tomorrow. Made the Envelope Snap Pouches today and they are a definite favorite. So many great uses for them. Thank you Nicole!💞
These are perfect, exactly what I was looking for, as I was asked for a pouch for putting cables in for travelling. Thank you so much for sharing this, you are very generous ❤
First, I love your videos and certainly have the “cork bug”! Next, you have some awesome tools. I would love to know what your marking pencil is and where to get it, as well as your rolling applicator for glue and edge staining. Thanks so much!
Hi Laura, welcome to the cork side of things! I use a leather marking pen, I get mine from MoreMeKnow. And the roller applicators are available online lots of places but I think mojo sews sells them!
OMG Thank you!! Awesome quick make. Using up my cork stash! One suggestion: mark 2” line on short sides as fold-to rather than fold line. Loving putting in snaps (top hats, sombreros, caps and donuts😂) rather than zippers and loving the no-lining vibe ❤❤❤❤
Just a suggestion but you might add a link to buy you a coffee or join your patreon group. You do a very very nice tutorial and I am sure people would be happy to support you. Might want to see your Doc about the troubles coming up with words lately, you are too young for that (speaking as a 76 year old). Happy whatever holidays you might be celebrating and happy new year. Thanks for all your talent
There’s usually a link in the description box of each video but I missed it on this one, I just added it. We’d love to have you! And I think my word issue is I think too fast and get ahead of myself, I’ve never been formally diagnosed but I have inklings of ADHD tendencies. 🤔
Would you recommend putting some kind of interfacing, like Decoville Light, in the top to reinforce the snaps? I'm really enjoying the projects you are doing for the 12 Days of Christmas. Thanks!
This is so cute BUT I don’t have one of those presses for snaps and/or rivets and I’m having a hard time getting my snaps attached without skewing or squishing them. Are you able to do a demo on inserting snaps with those simple hand tools they come with? I love this whole series! Thanks.
@@SewGnar I’m going to be making at least 2 of these bags. I think they’re perfect for anyone and I need something for men… let me know if you have any tips. Maybe add a d ring?
Hello Sew Gnar. Could you tell me if your cork has a different weight than other Corks. Do they come in different weights. I have one that I wanted to make your Snap bag with but it seems to light. It doesn’t have black on the back like yours did. My is just cork on the front , Cork on the back. Would it be too thin to use. Thank you.
How do you price you cork items? I’ve started figuring out the square inches of cork used and multiply an average cost of my cork then add hardware. I’m trying to determine how much extra to charge to this price.

That’s awesome!!
Very creative, Nicole! So great to see your talent and enthusiasm.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love these, and all the "days of Christmas" videos! Keep them coming! These will keep me busy all winter!
More to come!
Very generous of you to share all these great projects. Thanks!
Glad you like them!

Thanks for your thoughtful giving us the 12 days of Christmas you are so awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
Dog treat bags. Add a loop with a key ring or snap! Could be a poop bag too with a grommet hole.
That’s a great idea!
I absolutely love all your Christmas 12 days patterns! You rock!
Glad you like them!

Loved making this bag. Thank you so much!

@@SewGnar Hi! I am trying to make these again. The roll of vinyl I have is 12 inches high. how would I know how wide to make it?
All the measurements I use are in the video!
@@SewGnar yes just wondering if there was a way to figure it out with 12 inches high
I look forward TO ALL YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you, I love this one too!
You are so welcome!
I love these.
The origami corners are beautiful.
Thanks so much 😊
I think the small would make a great lil gift bag --- with a cute gift inside and a bow.
Ohhh love that!!
Another ingenious item! I love that cork can easily be used without a lining and can still have plenty of structure. Excellent job as usual!
Glad you like it!

Glad it was helpful!
I made some with marine vinyl. Worked great!
Oh yeah I am so going to make these for my cruise coming up at the end of the month! Thanks Nicole!
Perfect for cruises/packing!

Love them , the corners are great … thank you
You are so welcome!
I can see it as a project bag for sock knitting. Small one could be used as a thread catcher for quilters or maybe even a dice cup-travel style.
Oh that’s a fun idea!
Awesome design. I think I’ll try the techniques for some small purses too. Thank you!
Oh yeah, easily adaptable to bags and purses!
Nice bags. I look forward to making some
Glad you like them!
OMG, another good one! Those corners are aces ♠😉👍
Glad you like them!
Omg I need to make them💜. I have a few bottles of skincare when I travel.
Perfect for that!

Ah the 2” line would make it easier!!
Great video.. love the bags..
Thank you! 🤗

Love these little bags.

Very cute...i might try these in clear vinyl.
These would be perfect for that!
Such a useful gift.😊
I think so too!
A flex frame closure would work great for these.
That would be fun!
Oops, mis-sent… trying to say : AWESOME!
OH YES!
Glad you like it!
I love this. Thank you

I personally haven’t put any interfacing but you certainly can if you want!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!

Hi; I don’t have the handheld snap setting tool, unfortunately 😩 I’m sorry.
Future project tutorial: multiple rivets to decorate a bag, how to line them up so they are neat and decorative.
I always use my template to make that easier on me!
Eeekkkkk I see many of these made in my future!
They come together so quick!
I see a cute knitting project bag! Thinking about putting a clear vinyl window in the front
Oh that would be so fun, a little peekaboo!
The smallest bag is perfect for headphones!
Oh that’s a great idea!
@@SewGnar I’m going to be making at least 2 of these bags. I think they’re perfect for anyone and I need something for men… let me know if you have any tips. Maybe add a d ring?
I don’t see why they wouldn’t be great for men as is!
@@SewGnar great! Thanks for doing the 12 days of Christmas! I’m really enjoying it and your tutorials are super thorough and clear!!! Cheers!
Ooooo another great one!
Glad you like it!
The little one could be good for storing your presser feet, some clips, your needles, etc, etc. Thanks for the tutorial!
That’s a good idea!
At the end of the video I realize the clip holder potential!
Super project! Thank you! What size snaps are you using?
They are 12.5 spring snaps from goldstar!
Omg I love this so much ❤❤❤

Hello Sew Gnar. Could you tell me if your cork has a different weight than other Corks. Do they come in different weights. I have one that I wanted to make your Snap bag with but it seems to light. It doesn’t have black on the back like yours did. My is just cork on the front , Cork on the back. Would it be too thin to use. Thank you.
Hi! I get my cork from Fabric Funhouse. It’s one sided as well, cork overall is thin but mighty!
Hello, You make Beautiful Projects. Could I use KAM Snaps for this bag.
Yes, absolutely
How do you price you cork items? I’ve started figuring out the square inches of cork used and multiply an average cost of my cork then add hardware. I’m trying to determine how much extra to charge to this price.
That’s how I calculate as well. Down to the square inch then add in hardware and multiply times 3 usually.
Hello again, please tell me what size your Spring Snaps were. I don’t have any , So I need to know what to buy. Thank You again.
They are the 1/2” size from goldstar tool
Great bags...will try to make them as gifts. Do I need a heavy duty sewing machine?
None of my projects require a heavy duty machine, I sew on a domestic too!
What size of punch hole did you use with the hole puncher.
I use the smallest setting on the hole punch!
Did you sew the Sides with a quart inch, because you said to cut it down to a 1/4 inch. Did you mean to sew the sides with a 3/4 inch.
No, I always sew with a quarter inch!
Can you share what snap fixtures we need for the snaps?
I’m using 25mm spring snaps!
I wonder if you could make these with jelly.
1000%!
Put 3 snaps on the little one use it to hold your coins
Great idea!
I would like to see your 'little plane bag.
It’s full of puzzle books, art supplies, snacks, chargers, gum, and a clip to attach my phone to the tray table!
