My only concern is on printify there is only one provider I see for embroidery. Since we are in Q4 and it will explode in popularity I am concerned with production delays especially for customers who want an order quick for christmas. Hey Mandy. I noticed the product notes state, "Embroidery machines are set to align the design to the middle of the print area so designs will be automatically centered." This sounds like, even if you push toward the top, as seen in the video, that it will auto-adjust to the mid center. Am I translating this incorrectly?
Hi Mandy, I have a question. Do you provide returns and exchanges on your print on demand apparel store? If yes, do you have the customers return the items to a 3PL facility in USA which they later discard or to the print provider? Also if you don’t offer return and exchanges and if a customer send a message that the t-shirt side doesn’t fit them, what to do in that case? I would really appreciate your response on this questions, thanks!

This is a GREAT question! Since the need for digitization is based on the design itself and personalization does change each design, I would plan on the slight delay (and potential digitization cost in the future) for each personalized order 😊

If you want to do one sweatshirt color with 2 monotone colors of thread ( say one whitesweatshirt with pink thread and one white sweatshirt with blue thread) can you have them under the same listing or do you need to make it separate?

Yep, that’s correct! You’d want to make sure you have a buffer built into your production time and pricing since digitization will be part of every personalized order 😊
Hi Mandy, i got a question after watching your video. so as you said Printify is not charging Digitization fee at this moment but if they do in futue, they will charge once for first order. this make sense for non-personalized order but how it will be for personalization order? i mean lets take a look your design as an example here. just like your design says PEDS and underneath customers name. so PEDS is permanent design for every single order which we have to pay once for Digitization but customer name will be new every single time, in this case we need to pay extra fee for all the new order because we cant use old digitization file for customer's name. can you please help?
I'm confused. Wouldn't the "one off" design (for conversion from your file to one ready for embroidery) actually be *every* time because you are doing personalization? Also, the personalized name looks like a font that is too thin. I'm going to give it a try but I think delays and maybe rejections are inevitable. Thanks for the video.

Does it matter which edge the design needs to close to? I have a design where it is close to the top and bottom edges but not the sides. I was under the impression it has to be at least one of the edges. Also, I just saw on Printify that digitization is free until 2025, I wonder how much the charge will be later. It should stay free for premium accounts. Also the hat you chose has an outline which is a no-no according to their guidelines..
Embroidered shirts are quite popular Christmas products, since the beginning of the season I have sold a few. However, with the price being a bit high, my profit is not much, I am looking for some other suppliers. Does anyone recommend any good suppliers?

No - this is the beauty of print on demand 😊 I work with a printing partner (Printify). I make the designs, and when a customer orders from my shop on Etsy the order goes to my printing partner who then prints/embroiders the item at that time (on demand) and ships it to my customer for me. I never have to touch it 😊
My mind has literally been blown by how simple option one is by removing the background of the design screenshot! 🤯 Truly genius! Thanks for sharing!!

They are merging with printiful so there will be more.

You can consider some suppliers from Asia. Their quality and price are quite good, but I don't rate suppliers from China highly.

The design area is so small on the hats in printify. Printful gets this right. So I’m going to stick with printiful for hats.
