The Origin has more resolution, it’s at a higher level. If you bother to EQ the Origin with PEQ, with PEAK filter 200Hz +2dB Q=0.7, and HIGH SHELF filter 6000Hz -2dB Q=0.5, the sound is very close to the much more expensive Softears Twilight.
@@SD_1.5 As it is, very neutral. It is great for neutral heads. The treble is not sibilant at all. The Twilight has a warm tint to the sound, which the Origin can be shaped into with a little EQ. I sometimes listen to it without EQ, sometimes with the mid bass lift as described above, sometimes with mid bass lift+treble roll off.
I compare what I'm interested in with what's available. And with what manufacturers are willing to send me. Most of the comparisons are with IEMs I bought myself. If you're interested in new models, or in models yet not available in comparisons, kindly request the manufacturers to provide me with samples.
They are both fantastic! However, I personally prefer the that touch of warmth the Kato has.
Kato is slightly warmer sound.
hype 2 or 4 vs origin plz!!!!
Origin tonality is top tier
Really, same sound but, the Kato are a little warm and full bodied...
Tanchjim Origin vs Simgot EM6L, please :)
Origin is drier in the midrange - I don't know how it would be in real conditions.
Origins vocal sounds very thin. Especially in female voice.
But Kato is like a veiled sound in some songs.

this translates to adding more bass and reducing sibilance right?
