    Nice discussion. Sounds like the hype is real. I’m a B2 lover/owner too. If you’ve heard the Meze Advar or Sennheiser IE900, would the Origin trade blows with them or be pretty close to them?

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  8 місяців тому +4

      I am familiar with the Sennheiser IE900. First of all, the tuning is different. I would say the Origin has a more balanced and neutral tuning. The IE900 has much more bass and sub-bass than the Origin, along with better imaging and soundstage.
      The Origin has better mids because I feel the mids on the IE900 are a bit recessed to my liking.
      For clarity and detail, the IE900 wins.
      Is the Origin close to the IE900? No. But still, the Origin has one of the best details and clean presentation under $1000.
      It could beat the Blessing and trade blows with the Variations and some planars (except the bass and sub-bass)
      But over $1000, there are many choices that are truly impressive like the IE900.
      I haven't heard the Advar so can't comment.
      Hope this is helpful.

    Have you compared this tanchjimorigin with simgotea1000? And which one is better in terms of sound and technicality?

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  7 місяців тому +2

      The EA1000 has more sub-bass and bass, and it could sound harsh sometimes depending on what you are listening to and the volume. Vocals are slightly warmer due to the bass.
      The Origin has the upper hand in soundstage, imaging, and superb technicalities. The Origin also sounds more natural to me.
      Both are excellent IEMs, and you will be happy with either of them.

      Both are not sibilant to my ears. The Origin has better vocal clarity and more detail retrieval than the Chopin. The Chopin has better bass which balances the treble and might be a better fit for you.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  3 місяці тому +1

      You're welcome. The Tanchjim Origin represents an improvement over the Oxygen, particularly in resolution, technical capabilities, and detail retrieval. On the other hand, the Kato would be more of a side grade, not an upgrade compared to the Oxygen. In my view, it's not superior to the Oxygen but offers a slightly different sound.

    Hi. May I have some questions? I'm using Whizzer HE10 (some kind of Harman-tuned target) and really don't like its sound. Too much bass and not very good at mid.
    Should I upgrade to the Origin and Endgame with it? Or should I buy something just a bit more like Moondrop Kato? I pretty much prefer to hear both male and female vocal and acoustic instruments.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  2 місяці тому +1

      If you're after good bass, the Kato is a great choice. On the other hand, the Origin has more detail and better separation, with a focus on the mid-range, but it has slightly less bass than the Kato. Choose based on what matters most to you.

    Hello, I am undecided between the Origin and the B3. Which would be the most similar to the s8? My interest is in the naturalness of female voices, details and the soundstage. I have the S8 but I want something that I can take to the office without so much worry.

    Would you recommend the render ear tips over the dunu s&s eartips? Im in europe and the render ear tips are kinda hard to get which is why I would like to order the dunu s&s. But if you say the render ear tips are more worth it then I‘ll try to get those.

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  4 місяці тому

      No, I believe the DUNU S&S are better. I use the DUNU S&S tips because they provide excellent comfort and bring out a lot of detail. They sound transparent, almost as if they're not there, allowing more sound to come through. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. I use the Render tips mainly as a higher-quality replacement for foam tips. They are excellent for IEMs with small peaks, as they remove edginess and offer great noise isolation, while being easier to use and more comfortable than foam tips. Between the two, I would choose the DUNU S&S. I just use the Render tips with some IEMs (Blessing 2, Origin, Nova) because I feel they sound better with them. That's all.

      @bestcocbaseswithlink5069
      TLDR they're good.
      it's good, exactly how I expected it to be. Very natural sounding, a bit lighter on the bass compared to kato but I could wear it all day I mean like 5 to 6 hours straight, thanks to the way it's shaped. Katos I have to take off after a couple of hours cause they start feeling heavy in my ears even though origins are a bit heavier in weight but in my ears much more comfortable becauseof the way it'sshaped. When a track have bass it shows I can feel the bass but if the track is bass light it's how it portrays it as it is, great texture, great impact. Vocals are clean too female vocals like Ariana Grande don't sound shouty male vocals like Vessel from Sleep token still got that good deep vocals to it too. Never heard of the OG Oxygen but got OlinaSE, I can say Origins are definitely upgrade to the OlinaSE and a side grade to Kato but I'd take Origins over Katos for the comfort as I mentioned. And not as sizzling as Katos on the high hats and cymbals but still come across as how you'd hear it in real life. When I first listened to Origins it came across as boring but that's exactly what I'm looking for cause in my experience if an iem excels in one thing like bass heavy or treble shiny it doesn't stay in my ears for long cause of fatigue. Bass can be fatiguing as well. HBB undersold them I think he should give it another listen imo.

    KATO is fatiguing? Origin is better than B2? better than Oxygen? in terms of what? 🙂

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  7 місяців тому +4

      I appreciate your feedback and thumbs up for the calm intonation :) It's interesting how our individual preferences shape our listening experiences. While the bass on the Kato is excellent, I found the "bass" fatiguing and needed to take breaks or reduce the bass, which is a valid approach that worked for me.
      In my experience, the Tanchjim Origin surpasses the Blessing 2 and Oxygen in every aspect. From bass response to vocal clarity, accuracy, detail, instrument separation, and imaging, the Origin shines. While I understand this may be a controversial statement, I am confident in my assessment based on what I've heard.
      I use the Tanchjim Origin daily and my opinion remains unchanged. I encourage you to give them a listen and share your thoughts. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised by their performance.

      @andresa1759 The fit depends on your ear and choice of ear tips. I compared them using a few ear tips, silicon, foam, and hybrid.
      For me, the Origin has a much better fit, comfort, and noise isolation compared to the Oxygen.
      The Origin has a longer nozzle which allows the ear piece to stay more outside of the ear, improving the fit and isolation.
