I was surprised that this is not really super sweet. I used Annie’s Organic Cinnamon Rolls and followed his instructions exactly. I think the cream cheese in the frosting and the heavy cream cut the sweetness quite a bit. Definitely a keeper and I didn’t feel woozy after eating!

If you need to feed a crowd, use two cans and put everything in a bundt pan. :) I've done similar by quartering canned Biscuits, tossing them in a bag with Cinnamon and sugar until everything was coated, then proceeding according to your plan. Both were LEGIT.
I do that too, this little biscuits that come in a 4 pack of 10 per can , costs the same as one can of cinnamon rolls and use milk and powder sugar and use that in your cream cheese, yum!
They have this in the UK. Its just the same supermarket puff pastry in a cardboard can instead of a plastic wrapper. The difference here is the brand he has has the cinnamon already spread inside. In the UK (the Jus Roll brand anyway) theres the cinnamon/sugar powder in a separate put you add water to. Ofcourse you can always just buy pastry or make it yourself.
@@soubri it's the raw cinnamon rolls (the dough, the layer of brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, etc, rolled into a 'tube' and placed in a can..you can find it in the refrigerated section of the grocery store just about everywhere here in the U.S. Inside that can at the bottom is a small tub of icing. To bake you remove the rolls from the tube (which you open by smacking it on the counter and it will make a loud pop, or a thud, lol,), you place the raw rolls on a greased baking sheet, bake per directions and when it's done drizzle with the included frosting. Hope this helps.

Quarter your cinnamon rolls place them in a greased 8x8. Take half a cup of heavy whipping cream, a teaspoon of cinnamon some vanilla, i use vanilla paste but extract worls fine, and about 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix together in a bowl and pour over cinnamon rolls. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until tops are golden brown and it doesn't look wet on top. You get this awesome gooey cinnamon caramel at the bottom and it it amazing. Make sure to drizzle the icing on at the end. For an extra treat, take a tablespoon of whipped cream cheese and mix it with your icing along with a teaspoon of vanilla.
Just in case anyone wants to know, Cinnabon frosting is a few spoonfuls of store bought cream cheese frosting mixed with a couple of pats of melted butter. You're welcome 😁

If I am making this special treat to give away to someone else, I double the above - so it would be 1 cup of heavy cream and for the topping I will combine 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar. With these increased measurements, I find that the final dish is extra indulgent and my momma has always said that gifts should always be of the best quality that you can manage so hence why I chose to use the higher ratio of ingredients when I am making the dish with the intentions of giving it away to family/friend/neighbor/etc. :)

Then ditch the store icing and just make a little more real icing…toss in a little of the caramel, some vanilla, and cream cheese and BAM…a way better version of Cinnabon (yes, Cinnabon USED to be the best, but they now have a weird chemical taste to the frosting).

This is a wonderful way to have those canned cinn rolls without all that awful dry crust that surrounds each one. I’ve always ate only the centers and threw away the dry outsides. This recipe makes exactly the gooeyness I dream of.

Crush the pecans first and add them into the cinnamon syrup. At the end broil for a bit the pecans will caramelize and crunch more! And shorten cooking time if broiling obviously
That looks good. I have a suggestion. You know the glaze that you make to pour over the Bacardi Rum Cake. You could make a small amount of that and pour it over the cinnamon rolls before you add your icing. I think the buttery rum flavor of the glaze will be delightful. 😊

This is a wonderful way to have those canned cinn rolls without all that awful dry crust that surrounds each one. I’ve always ate only the centers and threw away the dry outsides. This recipe makes exactly the gooeyness I dream of.

Crush the pecans first and add them into the cinnamon syrup. At the end broil for a bit the pecans will caramelize and crunch more!
And shorten cooking time if broiling obviously

Mix a cup of pumpkin puree in with the roll pieces before adding to the pan for a different taste. Also, apple butter is great instead of pumpkin.
That looks good. I have a suggestion. You know the glaze that you make to pour over the Bacardi Rum Cake. You could make a small amount of that and pour it over the cinnamon rolls before you add your icing. I think the buttery rum flavor of the glaze will be delightful. 😊
made it this morning for breakfast with the family. It was delicious. the butter and cream really keeps the roll chunks moist and delicious.
