David Lee Roth once described the 80's as place where the music smiled, and the clothing smiled, and people had a good time. The 90's brought depression, darkness, and rock music changed forever after that.

Wow!!!! What a shocker, I was about to leave my job to go to rehab n I look on my phone n it said that Eddie Van Halen had past away from Throat Cancer at the age of 65 years. Eddie was an icon n in my opinion, the Greatest Rock N Roll Guitarist of all time. Him n his brother Alex Van Halen started the group in the 70's then teamed up with Bass Player Michael Anthony & The Greatest Lead Man in Rock N Roll History, David Lee Roth n then came Sammy Hager. They had so many great hits from the 70's, 80's & 90's. The ones that I like were with David Lee Roth, Panama my favorite, then comes Jump & Jamie's Cryin. Rip Eddie Van Halen, Ur now up in Heaven's Tears playing Panama, just like ur music video flying in the air. God Bless The Van Halen Fam. Wolfgang (Son), Alex (Brother) & Valerie Bertinelli (Ex-Wife).

When they were coming up in the 70s, they would play in front of 20 or 30 people in small clubs and carry themselves like they were playing in front of 20-30,000. I was in my last year in High school, one of the best concerts I have seen at the time. They were Loud and Full of Energy, WOW!! I knew they were special when I watch them as the warm up band for Black Sabbath. I am lucky to see so many bands from the 70's in concert in their prime. Tickets were $6 back then for the cheap seats but you could always move down near the stage. The music from the 60's and 70's will be truly missed.

Saw them many times back in the early 80's...couldn't get enough of them! David Lee Roth was the ring leader in the circus, EVH was a guitar god and I loved his facial expressions during a guitar solo. The real voice of the group (although not given enough credit) was Michael Anthony's high pitch background vocals.. All-in-all, I'm glad I was a teenager in the early 80's and experienced the concerts live, as well as the energy they entailed. It's a music era that won't ever be repeated unfortunately.

I wasn't allowed to watch MTV when it first came out but I would sneak. Imagine my surprise when I saw David Lee Roth sing it!! 🤣 I did go to a Van Halen concert & it was high energy the whole way through.

Oh, also, David Lee Roth was a New York EMT for a few years. Can you imagine Dave showing up in an ambulance? Ha. And my vote for your next listen is “Hot for Teacher”. But my favorite song of theirs is “Runnin’ With the Devil”. 💜💜💜

I loved the days of middle school....coming home to watch MTV and waiting for the next world premiere video to be shown. These were the good ole days when every good song had an equally good video. They were both super important in those days.
I've seen Van Halen in concert once and David Lee Roth when he toured on his own. I paid less than $20 to see Van Halen and less than $15 to see David Lee Roth. Tickets were cheap before Ticketmaster took over.

I first heard this track when I was around 8, & fell in love with the group. I was lucky to have a brother 7yrs older than me, so I got to hear all the 🔥 music in the 80’s! 💙&✌🏻

Waited 5 hours to see them front row at Music Midtown in 2015. To see Eddie Van Halen play guitar up close was ridiculous he’s truly the best out there. The band in whole is soooooo loud and exciting did not disappoint.

David Lee Roth is not a slouch, that cat is bad ass n he entertain's to the fullest. Him being on Van Halen's lead singer for me is the best lead singer in Rock N Roll History. He charismatic, he brings energy, he kno's how to tell a story. David Lee number one. Then comes Eddie Van Halen n that talent on the guitar. Personally for me he's the best guitarist to play in rock n roll history. Then Come Alex Van Halen on Drums. Bad ass cat on the drums. N Michael Anthony on Bass. These guys were the best in their craft. Jayvee U need to react to Van Halen's Jaime's Cryin. U will like the video n sound.
