I guess what sets ACCA apart is that they think smarter and have a very wide coverage. ACCA is innovative and flexible and bigger with lots of opportunity for you to pick up other quqlifications with many other professional bodies. No surprised at the slogan of ACCA - THINK AHEAD.
Hi there Stephanie. How's it going? I think that there might have to be made a slight correction in the slide under the ACCA heading. ACCA exams are now held 4 times in the year (March, June, September and December) rather than twice. Where I currently reside (Dubai), the exams are held 4 times in the year. Cheerz.. ✌️
From my experience as an FCCA I would say that it is rare to get through ACCA in less than 5 years. It is unusual to pass all exams first time, and that slows things up.
ACCA is much more difficult than CPA as students get in F5 and F8 papers and most of them are stuck with them. Even if taking exams four times per year, for one subject, students need at least 2 or 3 months, so meaningless to have changed the two times a year basis to 4 times a year. I've completed F level.. The load i walked on was fucking hell.
My friends were all average learners, they had around 80% when they graduated high school. Today they are ACCA's who cleared all their exams in their first try. You only have to believe in yourself and work towards it instead of losing hope and giving up. You can do it!
Which one is more prestigious for working in UAE both in case I go for job and in Practice. (As I am a Chartered Accountant and after considering exemptions number of exams are same for me in both courses)
Please make a video on scope of CPA US and ACCA in Canada. How indian students who passed CPA US can get jobs in Canada. I hope you consider it. Thanks.
I want pass CPA test in China, but its too hard,I need to learn audit/accounting/economic laws /tax laws/ financial and cost management /strategy and risk management
I would like to work in the USA as an Accountant but Im not sure if getting a bachelors degree Accounting and Finance with a qualification in the UK would cut it. Would I have to move over there to study for the degree/CPA to have a recognized qualification?
Many accounting jobs in the US require or strongly prefer candidates with the CPA. Therefore, getting a qualification in the UK likely wouldn't help you land jobs here. In order to stand out, or at least among your peers, you'd probably need to pursue CPA, CIA, or CMA (CIA and CMA only if you're looking to work in internal audit or industry). Also, because the CPA US requires 150 credit hours, you'd want to look at applying to a master's program (preferably a master's in accounting so you can ensure you've taken all the appropriate accounting courses).
Hi , Thank you for this video. It was really useful. my niece has just finished her 12th grade and now planning to enroll for an ACCA program. We are based in India. In your opinion would ACCA be a good choice? Please advice! Thanks®ards
Salary Your starting salary can vary considerably depending on the location and size of the firm you work for, the sector and your qualifications. As a graduate, it's possible to start on a salary of around £25,000. Once qualified, your salary can range from £26,000 to £45,000 (senior accountant/accounts senior roles). Once you've built up significant experience, your salary can range from £40,000 to in excess of £100,000 (for roles at director level). www.prospects.ac.uk/job-profiles/chartered-certified-accountant
Hello Mam, I am Elias. Would you mind I reprinted your video into chinese and posted it on a local forum. I think it will help chinese students to make a correct selection. i just need to confirm whether you allow me to do so, if you MIND what i did, please tell me, thanks!

You will not be exempt from any of the four sections of CPA examinations. AICPA has no provision for exemptions at all. However, ACCA grants some exemptions to CAs. Check their website for more information.
iam an Egyptian student planning to study and work in middle eastern country and turkey should i go for the ACCA ??? i think its more relevant to those regions ....right ? final question ...i thought that one of the difference between ACCA &CPA is that the first is based on IFRS and later is based on GAAP....am i right ??
Hello ma'am! how are you ? I want to ask u that as I have completed graduation of 4 years degree in BS (HONORS) ECONOMICS .. So, kindly tell me that could I am eligible for CPA Exam .. Do I qualify for taking this exam ? THANK YOU
We'd recommend asking your local peers and accounting groups to determine which is best for your area. You also need to factor in where you might want to live in the future too :)
Hi, by profession I am Chartered Accountant and working for UK based KPO from last 2 years. I decided to go for US CPA last year and now I am in dilemma whether to complete it or not. Is it worth to do so? Thank you. Your every video is very much helpful.
I'm qualified CA from India, cleared in May 2019 ( have 4 months past qualification work experience) and completed my bachelor's degree in commerce(distance education) in University of Madras. Am I eligible to be a CPA Australia after writing the 2 papers( leadership and Accoutability papers) ?
Great question, Luxe! The answer is that it really depends on your ideal career path and background. I've written about the benefits of the CMA, which you can find here: ipassthecmaexam.com/why-become-a-cma/
I am qualified CA...and having more than 4 years work experience in India.. right now I'm pursuing ACCA. ......than how much time I needed to complete the same..?? ..
Hi Hemant, I am afraid I only cover ACCA to the extent of how it can be compared with the US CPA exam. Because of this I won't be able to answer your question.
Hmm... I wonder if individual countries have their own local accounting qualifications. Those would be the best in my opinion. Otherwise, if you aim for US based companies, or those publicly listed in the US (i.e. the company is using US GAAP as part of their reporting) then US CPA license is useful.
Hmm, I am not too sure actually, it is better to ask around locally (or ask the recruiters). But at least candidates can take the CPA exam in Bahrain which helps quite a bit.

There is no scope of US CPA in Canada ?
Acca
I'd look into CPA Canada.
In India which is better?
It depends on whether or not you'll be working for fortune 500 or US-based companies. If working for US-based companies, definitely CPA.
thanks
can anyone tell me is ACCA + CFA a good combination????
rishabh jain no its a very odd combinatio
acca is related to accounting
cfa is for finance
if you want to do acca than do graduation in commerce like bcom+acca mcom+acca
if you want to pursue cfa than
mba(fin)+cfa is good
Its good but not better than MBA in finance plus CFA.
And if we go for CPA after doing ACCA, how's that for an option?
If you planning to do both, finish CPA first because then you will get exemption for 8 subjects in ACCA.
You will broaden your career opportunities as well as knowledge no doubt.
What course should be better to do after us cma cpa or acca
Acca for worldwide Recognition
