I've just started my ACCA journey and I can tell you for free that your videos have increased my determination to do my best and work harder 😊 Thank you ❤
Interesting video! If you could find a way to increase the sound volume it will be perfect! But so happy for your progress, hope the message gets to most people that it's worth finding a place where one is valued more.
I am 40 years old and make £105k salary as a software engineer. Fully remote and chill company. Wondering if I should push it and try for an increase. I'm at the top of the pile and if I move I probably look for £120k+ jobs which do exist but are rare I think
I am only a first year associate working at a local public accounting firm with no certifications other than a 4 year university degree in accounting in the United States and my yearly salary is $70,000. This equates to exactly 55,800 pounds in UK currency so I am very suprised at how low the starting salaries are in the UK.
Uk salaries in general are way lower then in the US but the cost of living is also lower . If you want to make as much money as possible you are definitly better of in the US . Just look at the median salaries for physician in the UK and US it is around 100k in the UK and closer to 400k in the US and you can get way more depending on your specialty😅
Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my butt that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me
sorry if this is a stupid question but what are the hours like? im in college 2nd year rn doing btec in business and accounting and I really enjoy accounting, but like I don't want my entire life to be revolved around work so im not are if accounting is the right career for me if the hours are too high. I hope this made sense
I graduated with a degree in accounting and management in 2019 but wasn't able to find an accounting role. I would love to get into accounting but not sure how
This has been amazing information thank you for being open! Currently I'm an Assistant Accountant deciding on whether to do ACCA or CIMA. I know people generally consider ACCA harder and most say both qualifications are similar in weight but after being qualified for a few years what do you think? is the ACCA worth doing over CIMA for career progression or is it minor differences?
So happy for you! I remember watching your video on your universal internship in my first year of uni and that helped me manifest an internship with a similar company for my 3rd year! Now 6 years later I’m buying my own place and still working on my career ❤️ so lovely hearing how far you have come, and thank you again for your videos xx they really motivate me to keep striving to do better ❤️ you are doing amazing!
Hello Ela. I hope you’re doing well. I recently subscribed to your channel, and I must say, your video was incredibly motivating. I’m currently pursuing a BA in Accounting and Finance degree in London (LSBU) and working part-time as an assistant accountant at a small firm. I would really really appreciate it if you could spare just 10 minutes of your time so I can ask a couple of quick questions. Your professional and experienced thoughts and guidance would be help me a lot in future. Thank you
Hi, i am in that graduate position right now and studying for my exams. What tips do you have on adding value to the business and making yourself known to senior finance colleagues at this phase?
I'm currently doing ACCA, and I'm really interested in thigs like python, math and finance, I would love to do a master's in business analytics and specialize in Finance or a master's in data science after ACCA, would you recommend something like this? And given my interest which field would you recommend I should work in? Audit? Financial Advisory? etc?

Hi Ela, Im currently applying for audit role at a big 4 studying ACA. I saw that you studied ACCA. Could you explain how the two qualifications differ in terms of the skills you gain and job opportunities? I am also aspiring to become a qualified chartered accountant
Hi Ela, I am 30yo Manager in Hospitality with a BSc in Economics and i am currently looking into accounting entry level positions. I have been applying but with 0 prior experience or relevant qualifications i dont think i have many chances. So my question is (If i may) would you suggest that i go for AAT or straight to ACCA? keep in mind please that i dont get any exceptions in ACCA because my university degree (Hons) is Greek not British but i have full access to funds for masters etc. I know that ACCA is harder and takes more time plus i have to work full time 42+ hours a week to pay my bills. Thank you.
Hi Ela. I haven’t got a degree, I left school 20 years. I’m looking for a new career, and I have been looking at ACA and CIMA. Seems like CIMA can be a better fit for me. Do you have any suggestions? Can I have a good career and salary with CiMA qualification but no degree? Thank you
Do an apprenticeship, you're far more attractive when you become qualified if you've been gaining experience while you do it. Puts money in your pocket too!
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulux* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅 yt
That's incredible. I haven't watched your videos in a while. 3x increase in 3 years. Thats something else!!!
Ela, your progression....wonderful. hoping your new role is amazing. I am far from an accountant but rooting for you! Congrats!
Look like the innocent flower but be the serpent undert
Thank you so much! 🙏🏾

How do I know the accountant of the company I work for in London please ?
Hi Ela.
I haven’t got a degree, I left school 20 years.

Seems like CIMA can be a better fit for me.
Do you have any suggestions?
Can I have a good career and salary with CiMA qualification but no degree?

😂😂😂 too late.. ur time is done
Hey Ela! ar e you on linkedin?
Hi I would like to something those figures you mention above in your video those salaries are per annual or per month. Thank you
Look up the definition of salary, someone's salary is their 12 months payment.
Screw you
Then theres me working in the field for just gone 2 years and under 21k, make it make sense
If I do AAT can I get a job?
So are you paying that higher-end tax rate? Damn, that must hurt. For every £1 you earn, you only get 60p of it.
brilliant
how many hours a week :)
How many hours do you work as an accountant?
I am waiting for this to be answered
@@raihanmasud47likely 7.5 to 8.5 hours a day
Did you go uni to become an accountant?
You don’t need to. You can start Acca regardless a degree

What a levels did you take?
A levels in Economics, Maths, and Business and did AS Computing
