These short stories are fantastic ! Thank you ABP for taking this up again so soon after finishing the last book. Each one fills in a little perspective about the space marines that makes them, even though fictional, more real for the audience. TY again.
You guys go left, you right, you follow me... next order ofc Attack!!! also, "With a plasma pistol in his left and a chain sword in his right hand he charged..." a second after he is shooting from a bolter pistol instead of a plasma one... I would appreciate these battle stories so much more if the writer actually knew a thing or two about military tactics and such, other than that, great read ABP.
Thanks so much , you been doing this and surely are a harmony to the space marines battle song. The best narratives that do justice to Warhammer as flesh tearers do to battle even in there capture as on the asteroid you crackle through a webs shield a light in the darkness
Really enjoy these thanks. If you dont mind sometimes the voice modulation can become quite loud at times . Might be youtube. I like to listen with headphones or i.e. plugs often for a short time volume jumps . Thanks again.
@@ABorderPrince love the stories.. there was one book i really like cannot remember the title.. young men trying out for space marines by making glide wings jump off a huge cliff try to get to the chapel also huge battle against xenos before the heracy.. as a final test the boys would attack in groups and kill the losers.
Can someone explain me how this guy, makes a fallen genuinely repent of his action on his First capture, manages to find tangible proof that the Fallen are truly in the wrong, manages to slay an eldar warlock of considerable power and even bested a chaos artifact belonging to the most nefarious of the fallen... And yet everybody considers that rabid "Repent MOTHERF*CKER" Asmodai, that killed more people than a khornate warlord, and sucks so much at his job that in centuries he made two fallen repent and yet killed three hundred more in failing to keep them alive enough, a paragon of skill... Heck Asmodai is so bad at his job that his torture tools have "instant death" as an effect!
On a side note, I really liked this reading, it captured perfectly the dogged determination of the Chaplain and the thin arrogance and preening mocking tone of the Eldars. Chapeau
Honestly think it's just bad writing. I mean games workshop seriously needs to vet its writers better. As it's not uncommon for the inept fools to write century old soldiers as having less tactical and strategic knowledge/ understanding than a small child.
yeah its annoying somtimes but you need to just go along for the ride and accept the odd and inconsistant stuff in these stories. the older stuff is worse than the newer stuff for it
So, besides telling you that you rival the radio dramatists of the great era of Radio....I want to be amazed that this Fallen Angel is over 10,000 years old. Thats got to ve one of the oldest Non-Chaos Space Marines in existence next to Gilliman and the rest of the living Primarcshs. 🗡🔫

I kinda figured the sword was funny also, am i wrong that it was inaccurate to say that shouldn't that force have had a apothacary and that a chaplain would wield a crozious not a power sword?
So Dark Angels Interrogator Chaplains receive a black pearl for their Rosarius for each fallen they make confess to their sins, but the confession must be true. The fallen lied about it being the Lions Sword, because a follower of Luther would have known exactly what that weapon actually was. Thus his confession was invalidated, a final ploy the kill more of his loyal brothers, and he destroyed the black pearl.

Space Marines are Asexual by design but chaos makes them into monsters of various designs. Plus even if they didn't have any genitalia do you really think that would stop slanesh? I'm not even talking about mutations either, these are some sick creatures after all.
Noooo they were the good Eldar who just wanted to protect the galaxy from a powerful weapon of chaos, honestly if I was the Chaplain I'd want the Eldar to kill me for what I've done ughhh.. Why can't there ever be a happy ending 😡😡😡
Me, a Raven Guard player, filled with confusion and pride when the Dark Angels start shouting "Victory or Death"
Ah yes! And if we’re lucky, we’ll get both!

I can just imagine a montage when the chaplain held the sword, and had all the visions of greatness xD

No one is gonna mention Scarface on the book cover
Ik supper late and it's probably been said but your voice is pure definitely subbing
Thank you , Prince .
That confession is not going to stand in court!
Too bad about the whole "faith" thing not being something The Lion would've told anyone to mind, at that point in history.
yeah its a bit ropey but its old so you get these issues with the old old stuff
