I am currently unable to ride for a while, but watching these 45 minutes feels like its allowing me access to part of your thrill...
Feel for you tini, same situation...no worries will be back on the horse in no time...good luck with your recovery 💣
Hey lads I lost both legs in a work accident, I was back riding 3 months later i was barely out of hospital. Don’t let anything stop ya…
@@nothinyaseehere9449I lost my head a couple years back and still riding.
I'm amazed you had this ready to go straight after the warhorse series. Amazing work Adam, thank you mate
It never stops 🇦🇺✊️
A female salty generally grows out to around 3 meters long. A male croc never stops growing. A big croc is always a male.
As an Indian, I can't help but be happy to see that in the West even people doing work like farming, plumbing, mechanics can afford to follow their passion of motorcycles. Unfortunately people doing these jobs here in India don't earn enough to follow their passion.
Great work as always. You and MAD Tv are two of my favourite motorcycle related channels.
I think brother, so far we did not have that culture of traveling far and exploring places. My own father throughout his 70 years of life did not travel beyond Maharashtra and Goa. But the current generation is awakening and the internet is giving exposure. I have seen people tour on Hero Splendors and power to them!
For everybody outside of India, Hero Splendor is Honda SuperCub based 100cc bike that Hero manufactured for Honda till few years back via their joint venture. After their split, now Hero has retained the Splendor brand.
India is one of the most magical, mysterious and adventurous countries on earth. I travelled 4500km on the Hero impulse 150cc from Dehli to Leh to Kashmir back around to Varanasi.
It does not matter what your motorcycle is, two-wheels is all you need and the ride I completed with my father through the Himalayas is one of the greatest Adventures of my life.
I love India.
Fully Inspirational content right here 💯
The crazy thing is in Europe you can't buy a bike like the Hero. You have to pay at least three times more. So yes, some people (not everyone) make quite a bit of money, but everything is very expensive and that includes motorcycle insurance, maintenance, spare parts, tires, fuel...
I totally understand what you are saying. I'm from Philippines and I cannot afford KTM bike. I have Yamaha XTZ 125cc but don't let a lower cc bike discourage you from going far places. I know I won't go out of country but my motorbike can take me far from my place. I hope you'll be able to tour in your own country. More power to you and your fellow motorcycle riders. Ride safe brother!
Those boys 60 years plus truly inspirational all riders look highly competent brilliant…!!!
We were so inspired by these boys, we hope we are still going that strong on a bike over 60! Absolute legends.
You did it again @Ariemann1!!! Managed to get a smile stuck on my face!
The Australian country is the ultimate playground, no wonder you have such great athletes and the views are amazing!
Looking forward to the 2nd part of the journey and I hope to be able to ride that country some day...
Keep up the Motology!
You are truly one of the most inspiring people I have ever seen in my life. “all u need is a pair of wheels to start ur adventure” this resonates in my head every time I go for a ride
Wow the diversity of Australia is incredible. That white sand is stunning, the camera really shows how it could get you into trouble if you're not careful.
Yes, before Adam, I only thought of desert and the Uluru!
Having watched this video a few months ago, I immediately booked my tour with Top End Moto. The earliest available booking was for mid-2025 but, travelling alone, I was able to move up to May 2024 when a vacancy came up. It was an amazing experience akin to a Six Day Enduro! I made it to the tip of Cape York but my 65-year-old body took a battering.
Mate, the best yet. 61 yrs old, sold my KDX 200 five years ago. Going to get another one. This inspired me. Many thanks, Kiwi Pete
Does your name have to end with an “O” to get a place in the group? 😂😂😂 What an incredible array of terrain and beautiful weather. I’d be happy just to have one of those areas in the UK. But even if we did it would be off limits to bikes. I think our old judicial system had it wrong. We should have left the criminals here and we should have gone to paradise 😂😂😂😂😂. Great episode and what a top notch bunch of blokes to ride with
Hey Marko, you'll be right, get over here.
Cool i love your video’s special in Winter. Greetings from Holland/Germany
Me too !! groete uit Nederland😂😂😂
Had to sell my bikes about 2 years ago (first time in 30 years of not having a bike) to buy a bigger house for the expanding family. Then came rising interest rates and inflation, meaning I have not been able to get a bike again. I do not mind the sacrifice in the slightest, but I have a love/hate relationship with these videos knowing I probably won’t be able to do this for a while.
On a 2017 exc 500.
4th to 5th very close together.
5th to 6th quite the gap.
Read it’s remained that way through 2023.
The 12-16’s were equally spaced.
How’s the gear ratio spread on the 24’s?
Man i wish i still lived in Australia. ❤❤❤
The 60+ year olds getting right on the tinnies after a hard day, I am only 52, need to up my game! 😂 Brilliant video, awesome bikes!
You can do it! Haha, the boys are legendary ...
Just another stunning video Adam. Perfectly summing what life is all about. Passion, fun, adventure. Inspirational stuff.
all these retired 50 year olds?? amazing, I'm movin to Australia to retire!!
Watching this from South wales UK.. I thought we had some epic places to ride but this place is another level.. another brilliant video
Good to see older retired riders taking part in their dream rides...and the young ones to help us out if needed.
Man your so laid back and enjoyable to watch/listen. Fucking love it haha
nice vid man, i dont live far from Cape york, and iv been to cooktown and black mountian ect
Man its -1 c and wet in uk but my 350excf is going out tomorrow morning to shred some byways in Kent. You always get me pumped and want to ride man. 💯😜👌
Hi Adam,
As someone who is almost in their sixties (within 2 months), it still gives me hope to make the switch to enduro/off-road riding, when I see these 50s and 60s going crazy here. My compliments and respect. I have ridden guided light off-road / gravel roads with a KTM 890 Adventure 2022. And I really enjoyed it. As a small, self-employed roofer, I am always a bit wary of the possible consequences of a fall, because I like to accelerate ;-)
I envy you all because of these wonderful off-road possibilities. For us, Australia looks like one big playground for tough dads 💪
I love all your vids, awesome 👌🏻👍 Keep on riding 🤞Best Regards from Zuid-Limburg (Netherlands) 🙋♂️
I just booked out the entire tour for June 5 2026 because of this video. Thanks for the intro Adam. Looking forward to it.
God i thing i getting started to love enduro motos , but...
i have an tenere 700 and im thinking some times to sell it and buy one mt 09 and one enduro..
I dont know what enduro to buy ! what enduro 4 stroke bike above 35 HP needs the less maintenance ??
i dont want to mess every some hours with oils changes ..so ,any ideas ????
There is no such thing as maintenance free enduro bike.
Enduro is a competitive off-road sport and enduro bikes are race bikes, either suck it up and do the maintenance or buy something inferior (heavy, slow and bad handling). Your choice.
Why do you think these tour operators chose the 500? If you ride it dual sport style, like these guys, you can have oil changes every after 3K kms easy (especially with the 2012-2016 variant that had 1.5L oil capacity and not 1.2L of the newer models). Get a 500.
Awesome trip! I love that the thong was still 3 meters in the air when the drag race started 😂
When you guys were ripping thru the sand dunes, I was all tensed up! Not Relaxing!
Two comments down from you, ol mate is like " What’s the music you’ve put to it? Fantastic track love it." Haha ... something for everyone I guess.
wait, no Bob and Marj on the roads.....CRIKEY !!
Adam, as usual creating another phenomenal & riveting video for us to enjoy. Thanks for always putting in effort of fantastic videos & sharing all your experiences for us to enjoy.
Wow of all the tour companies I’ve seen doing cape trips this looks the the best. No accountants riding drz400 tractors and never standing up. Great trails, a snappy bike and a great group of seasoned riders.
But we have to look at the comparison between the 500 and the war horse. Half the weight, a smaller less comfortable seat but so agile. I hope it’s answered by the end of the trip, but when you sit down and plan a trip like this yourself, year you can do it cheaper, ride solo and eat 2 minute noodles each night. But paying the extra and not be on your own bike, have a support crew and have a great feed at the end of the day, the large price of these group rides seems a lot more reasonable then first thought
Been watching your vids for years mate. The off-road/enduro scene is full of good, like minded people 👍
Absolutely.
Amazing landscape! We live in Sweden, but my girl really wants to make the move to Australia. Could be in the future.
I've watched and re watched enough of your videos now, where your voice narrates my day to day activities..
Production skills here are absolutely second to none!!!!
Awesome mate. Wish I lived in Oz....👌
My god man , when do u cut the grass , Did you do this ride after your war horse adventure ?
I flew out for this two weeks after getting off the Warhorse. About a ten-day turn around to get back home. Had a bit on, but so happy to spend a week on a Enduro bike again.
@MotologyFilms Ty. I enjoy watching very much. I'm small time out here in Panama City, FL. And at that, It keeps me hopping. Appreciate you.
cleaning up the field from behind introducing the riders by name, are you kidding me, how epic
Are you kidding me? You are one of the greatest storytellers I’ve ever heard please continue. there is so much of your life that I went through the same thing divorced parents partying, drinking and motorcycles and the one thing is definitely come out of. It is the motorcycles. I still love them today at 47.
I've got the same bike here at home and I couldn't be happier for a dual sport and BDR weapon. Love seeing this type of terrain, epic riding indeed. It looks like I might have to book a trip to Australia to ride with Top End Moto Tours after I do the Ride With Locals in Iceland.
Australia is a beautiful place, untouched in many places. Why couldn't my ancestors be bad 😅 I could have been enjoying this down under
Australia got some similar landscapes like where I ride here in Brazil, and also the thing about convicts been sent to Australia happened with Brazil, Portugal sent alot of criminals here back in the day...
did you guys change the oil and clean the air filter after each day?
A daily afternoon service provided by the tour, while every rider basically hovered around the esky and campfire.
Bloody hell, when did u fit this in? Living the dream mate.
What a ride, what a nature!!! Once everything is over I'm definitely will come from Ukraine to ride with Topenduro guys!
Adam, the storyteller shines again. ❤ Love the great videography.
How good are the new 500 so much power and handle absolutely everything
Yep. Unbelievably pliable ride on any surface, fast or slow. The motor continues to be a smooth powerhouse.
No Bob & Marges, but plenty of ol'mates 😉
Hahah, when Bob get's away from Marge to ride his bike for a week, he becomes "Ol' mate"
That is epic so soon from your War Horse adventure
Impressed with everyone’s riding skills, drinking skills and most of all your overtaking skills on tight tracks
Well presented Adam and thanks again for your time and effort to bring this to our living rooms
Thanks
Dave
A true talent for making these films! Brilliant work👌👍
Hi all it’s 3:10 am in the USA WEST COAST I just started watching and have too say this is over the top an EPIC adventure watching guys my age ripping it up I hope to be picking one of KTM 500 exc up very soon to the film master ya just made gold with this post thank you all for giving me a thrill of riding with you guys on this journey from home a new fan. JoP
Another epic video @ARiemann1. I did the ride to the tip last year with a different tour group. I love all your work but I just wanted to point out that salt water crocs get a lot bigger than 3.3m long. Cheers mate.
Yes indeed, over 5m in the NT apparently. Specifically in the FNQ, 3.3m was all google gave me ...
@@MotologyFilms They are the prehistoric monsters patrolling Cap York 🙂
Epic riding through an amazing landscape. What a place! Couldn't imagine a better bike to do it on either
Absolutely. The 500EXC just gave the journey a whole different vibe. So awesome.
Just awesome filming editing and voice over. Just love Adams whole Outlook and humour. And of course the man is a beast.
Brilliant. Thank you.
Just want to say, @ARiemann1 you are my inspiration and I love your story telling. Every time you post something like that, I grab a beer and watch a documentary. I love it and I love what you do for moto community. This is masterpiece, truly from my heart. Thanks mate. Much love from Georgia (country). Visit us, perfect place to explore on motorcycle
The Crocs up here can actually grow over double the length that you said. You were right about the weight, nice vid mate
Think ill need to book in a trip, even if on my own its an opportunity that cant be passed up
Good crew, you'll likely make some friends for life on the trip.
You the Man Rieman. Great riding and great camera work. A very special place.
Bloody epic… great coverage as usual !
Gotta ask if there were any animal strikes in the tight fast stuff… you boys aren’t shy on sending it.
Here is South Africa I get nervous of the creatures dashing over the trail…
Looking forward to the next instalment of the adventure 😎👌
Absolutely amazing job, gentleman. This story was captivating. ✌️
Hi Adam, Greetings from sweden. Really enjoy your videos and envy you the Australian Climate. Upp here goretex is pretty much mandatory all year round 🙂You did a great video about your helmet choice. How about doing a video about what safety equipment you use?
Amazing video, really makes me want to go ride in Australia some day! Your editing is top notch, I didn't even realize it was 45 minutes long and was disappointed when it ended! 😂 Can't wait for the next episode 😉
your are a natural....both riding and video shooting and finish product....top of my list for watching. Thanks
Such an easy trail. Sunday fun!!! !!!
Europe is a lot more challenging...
Hi Adam, nice work your a busy guy!
I'd like to ask your opinion on a recent moto review i watched on the new triumph tiger 1200. its a channel that regularly advocate taking these behemoths off road all loaded up for an ,adventure,.
I regularly ride on T.E.T trails and see watch i imagine are rich guys with all the gear on huge 'adventure' bikes getting themselves into trouble, live and let live but should we be encouraging risky moto adventures? Are they adventure bikes or touring machines with off road tyres? we're not all Pol Tarres Thanks Martin
Your right,"living the dream".Average skill level very high in my opinion.
Epic ride and camaraderie! Amazed at the diverse terrain you have to tackle down under.
Looking to ride this trip.
Bloody awesome. But it's all booked out.And next year as well. Just looked after watching this..
Awesome story and one hell of an epic trip from the looks of it, awesome work putting this edit together.
Esta bestial ese video ese lugar es majo o estra extraclase ese lugar gracias por compartir ese gran video vendiciones💯💯👑👑👑🏆💯❤️🏆💯
Man I am 60 and thinking of slowing it down a bit off-road some of these guys are close to 70 and killing it
It was very inspirational! These guys prove age is just a number, keep riding!
If I were a KTM dealer, I’d be dancing a jig at this video. As a NOT KTM dealer, trying to think of reasons to justify purchasing one of them things….
That looks like an awesome riding experience. Not had any as tough as that but not far off in 🇿🇦. We have the croc’s in some of our rivers and fighting with monkeys for fruit in the trees as sustenance on a long ride.
Stoked to see the next instalment.
Hi Adam, fantastic video. What an epic trip. “Ol mate has a bit of a situation “ in the sand cracked me up. 👍🇦🇺
@AdamRiemann I'll borrow money to do this with you next run. If you'd take in a novice bike rider, and a previously experienced drone pilot. XAircraft, from the past
great vid: i love love loooooooove my 500 exc, a true bikers bike
Paysages Magnifiques c’est fantastique! merci vous nous faites rêver ❤️vous utiliser des réservoirs Acerbis de 12 ou 15 litres sur les 500 EXC ?
another amazing content! thanks for your great work Adam!!
I am a shorty only 160cm, struggling with seat high 815mm already. Do you would you be able to share some techniques that how are a short legs ride/handle such a high seater, please?
Love the way you narrate and describe your adventures.
Epic landscapes and trails documented perfectly 🤘Curious how the newer 500’s are compared to the 2017’s you rode in South America. I almost bought one a few years back. Amazing work on the throttle & cameras, cheers!
Is there something similar in Europe ? I would like to participate but Aussie is way too far away from me.
Great video, weather is bad here and I’m nursing a bad back & chest infection so not riding - it’s doing my head in but thank the orange gods for UA-cam 😀👍 thanks AR nice work
To my uneducated ear...it sounds like your EXC is bogging a bit....is that an EXC thing or just that you are in High country?
Nice work boys!! A must do trip...you listening Giffo n Timmy??
"When it hits the ground its on..." ...half way down the people send it! 🤣
Totally. Those who want the win are just ruthless ... haha
You need to be on 1M subscribers already! Love your content mate and the 500 exc’s are awesome 👏
Love your channel Adam! Thanks for taking us along your journey!
Not that I didn't know it, but riding in this company Adam's tag line should be "Can ride".
Cdnt believe Suzuki let you test their bike in jeans and minimal protection gear. Definitely bot s good example for those looking to get into adventure riding.
What a trip! Can definitely see myself and some of the boys signing up for this adventure!
same here!
Bloody awesome. Only missing something. See Yas in Asia, Laos before long!
I love the content and watch it all but I can’t access the members only content as it’s not available where I am(isle of man). Anybody know how I can buy it?
I’ve noticed a direct correlation between riding skill and keeping one’s butt off the seat here.z
"Tropic Thunder" ? Not exactly original title.😮
The new frame was too stiff for me. I can't ride it hard enough to get the benefits out of it. The bike is just way more capable than I am. More comfortable on the Beta.
I was vomiting so hard needed Metoclopramide due to listening to the four strokes what is going on you lost the edge
I love how much effort you put into these videos. Question: on a group ride how do you convince them to wait while you fly the drone?
I worded everyone up at the start of the tour and basically said I would endeavour to create something they could all look back on in years to come, and, would interfere with the flow of the ride as little as possible. Job done.
@@MotologyFilmsawesome. I always feel bad making other people wait while I fluff around 😂
I’ve been watching your video here lately and you honestly so humble can’t wait to see what the next one it’s about to be another great adventure I want to come to Australia to ride look so beautiful
