Backgammon is easy to learn and it's a fun 2 person game or u can play I'm two pairs. You should get it and learn. That was a great set. My sister and I used to play all the time. Nice finds today
The glass piece is not a spooner but from Gillinder & Sons and is a Frosted Lion Celery Vase... and they work super for wildflowers being so open .... thanks so much for your wonderful vid's Michael!!!!
Small but mighty! I think your items are so curated and that is what people are going for. Everyone has their style and they know who to watch to have a chance to come across certain things. That footed carnival 😍
@10:50 the little blue vase looked like vintage Murano glass. I couldn’t see the bottom but it would’ve had a smoothed out pontil. Those were a popular Murano, Italy souvenir decades ago, usually in sets of 2 w/ 2 different colors and a 24k gold painted pattern. I just sold my green one for $30 at a flea market. A purple one just sold at an online auction for $48 (tax n ship). Great vid. Like your voiceover...Very nice. Peace.
Loving your "jump" sound effects... simply the best! 🎵 better than all the rest 🎵 Sorry, popped into my head and had to! Looking forward to your next thrift with me!
Found your channel searching resellers on UA-cam. You have such a calm voice. Other thrifters I watched are in a hurry, & talk too fast can’t hear what their saying & their all over the map. Love your color description of the color aisles. Lol. Thanks for bringing us along to watch you shop. You got a new subscriber because of your calm demeanor. Also your laugh is contagious. 😁
Every time you say jump I think of the, "Time Warp" song from Rocky Horror Picture Show. Of course you are looking for vintage so it is like a time warp. I love watching your hunts. You are so fun and informative. I like your style.
The mushroom and fairy quip made me laugh! I never thought much about having mushrooms and fairies on the same item. It did also make me give a little, "Hmmmmm!" Magic mushrooms being brought to life by the fairy dust! Dancing will surely ensue!
I’m a HUGE thriftier!! I’m a collector not a reseller but we have NOTHING in our Goodwill stores like carnival glass or L.E. Smith ... ever! Super jelly. Your sourcing opportunities are endless! 🙌🏻
That duck was beautiful, I wished you had gotten it. Those black glasses with the owls are from the 80's. I had the cream colored ones with gold owls on them.
OMG I LOVE YOU! WELL DONE ON THE FENTONS. I LOVE THE COHESIVENESS OF YOUR PRODUCTION QUALITY. BUY MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ASPECT IS YOUR CANDOR! SO NATURAL, SO FUNNY, AND ALL AROUND ENTERTAINING. EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE AS WELL. IM EXCITED TO HAVE SUBSCRIBED.
I had a shallow bowl like the carnival glass bowl you got. mine had a I inside a G, Imperial Glass? not sure, sold it a long time ago. Bought it at a garage sale for .25! Great video, your GW is so clean, I have to step around children on the floor in the toy aisle, as a grandma, I do get away with telling the kids to put the toys back and get off the dirty floor! (since the parents are usually no where to be seen)
You have such a fantastic personality!!! You crack me up. I NEVER get a cart when I go thrifting, I also think it'll jinx me. Like you I go back and get one if I find a thing or 2. Where I'm at that's a pretty decent sized Goodwill store, the ones near me are pretty small, but I still can, occasionally find some pretty amazing things. So glad you are finally on UA-cam!!
I think the clear glass LE Smith piece is probably a celery not a spooner. Spooners don’t have a long stem like this piece did. Btw, thank you for checking out the glass ware….EAPG was one of my collecting passions when I first started collecting antiques when I was a teen.
I love the green pitcher. The shape, as Jocelyn, the Crazy Lamp Lady would say, "I love the !inex." and the color is beautiful. I love the lions on the stem of the spoon keepet and the rim. My father used to collect long stem cordials and it reminds of some of the stems
Love the treasures you found plus enjoyed the live sale yesterday! Our GWs here in MD still have bags but I'm so used to taking in my own bags when shopping to save plastic pollution or charge for the bag. If I need a box, I run back out to my car. I unload purchases right away when I get home so bags are refolded and ready to go back in my car for the next trip. 😊
Those gold glasses looked like the glasses you would get in a box of powdered laundry detergent I can’t remember the name but use to have several of them
Went to Goodwill in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago and they did not give out plastic bags - they didn't wrap either. Just handed the items back to you.
Lol... that’s like our local Goodwill & Salvation Army. They haven’t wrapped nor gave out bags in years! For awhile we could buy one but they don’t even carry anything but huge bags now. I bring my own but often forget.
Those black owl tumblers are vintage. I have some of those. For a small GW, that wasn't bad. Really like that green pitcher. I was recently at a GW that didn't have any paper for wrapping, SMH....
That was the exact same backgammon case I had! Actually, if I could remember where I put the games when I moved last, I probably still have it. I learned to play in the 70s.
You’re hilarious. Because of you I find myself saying I need “Crust, rusty and dusty!” when I’m thrifting and antiquing. I think I said it in one of my videos too 😂
Those gold glasses were Duz Detergent glasses and prices vary but if you’d paid the $2, you’d have definitely made money on them with the right collector.
Your GW has a lot more inventory and lower prices than those near me. Almost everything is broken. Twice I've found goebel pieces in good condition only to have a cashier break them. I need to know where you're located, you've gone to several interesting antique malls
I so want to take a trip to Pennsylvania and visit the Goodwill's, they seem to be better than Florida's. You all encourage me to be a reseller if only I could get over my fears 🤦
I don't know much about bakelite but I'm trying to learn. I believe some backgammon games have bakelite pieces. Not sure of the value. 🤷♀️ But if cheap enough I'll pick an old one like that up in case it's bakelite....🤞🤷♀️🤣🤣 Waste of time?😬
Omg those black plastic tumblers with the gold owl !!! I had to sell them as a fundraising effort for my grade school in 1978
That should be your tag line “ let’s see how much trouble we can get in”
Thanks for bringing us along!
All day every day! 🤣🤣
You can probably charge for your laughter. You crack me up! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

You are so entertaining. Thanks for making my day!
Love shopping with you 💕 That laugh is everything !!🤩
Everyone loves a mushroom and a fairy, some more than others! You crack me up! 💀

Ohhh well...ummmm...that depends on the video of mine you are watching! 🤪🤣 Regardless thank you for checking it out and I hope you stick around! ❤️
Boom! Money shot. LoL. 😆You are hilarious with a great eye! Keep the videos coming!🤩
Loved your video today Michael!! The great items you purchased were great finds. ❤
🙌🏽❤🙌🏽
I absolutely LOVE that green pitcher
Thank you for giving the textile section some love!

That green pitcher was awesome! I'm happy you got some good finds! And made a profit.😁
I love the pitcher as well, and your other items🥰
The mushroom and fairy quip made me laugh! I never thought much about having mushrooms and fairies on the same item. It did also make me give a little, "Hmmmmm!" Magic mushrooms being brought to life by the fairy dust! Dancing will surely ensue!
The psychedelicness of it all!! 🤣
Love the colour and the shape of the green picture - hope to see that in a Tuesday sale!
Everyone loves a mushroom and a fairy, yes we do 💚 happy dance, thumbs up, good day, love love love

Michael that bowl was gorgeous!!
Talk about living dangerously. That double jump about killed me. Lol. Love the style of the green vase.
That duck was beautiful, I wished you had gotten it.

Yes, stylized I through the G is Imperial, those also have good value for resale or a nicer piece to collect!
Loved "She's a heavy girl, she's not playing around""🤣🤣
Love a bulldog!
🎵She's a...brick...house...She's mighty mighty..🎵
Your sound effects crack me up as well as the jump warnings! Now I have the song stuck in my head😂
Excellent advice about bringing you own boxes and bags.. 🌱🌱

Maria, thank you so much for your kindness!! We have to appease the thrift Gods and not expect to find things...they are a vengful lot 🤣🤣
Love that green pitcher!
3 wonderful pieces. What luck you had today!
Hi. At 3:37 I saw a Singer sewing machine item in back of shelf! Would have grabbed that for my utility room.
"could be one of your grail items" love it. Always looking for the grail items.... :)
Me too #nevergiveup
“Everyone love a fairy & mushrooms-some more than others!😂😂”. I love how you crack yourself up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as you shop!🥰
I mean if you can't enjoy your own company...🤣
Thanks for all the great info. You really help me. Plus, you're so funny!! Love your channel!
Don't take this the wrong way please. At least three times I found myself shaking my head and saying "goofball"! Thanks for the smiles!
Awwww thank you Denise! 😜😘
Loved the spooner!
The green pitcher would look great with Sunflowers in it.
Great trip
Happy Dance..... love it
Beautiful pieces! Thanks for the shop. I hope to make one of the live sales soon. :)

"The Little Marketer" is from a calendar so the hole and scratches around the hole aren't really damage.
I love the green pitcher. The shape, as Jocelyn, the Crazy Lamp Lady would say, "I love the !inex." and the color is beautiful. I love the lions on the stem of the spoon keepet and the rim. My father used to collect long stem cordials and it reminds of some of the stems
You are so fun to watch!!
You got some great pieces!
Hi, the large wood letter blocks would be a good pick up for a live sale. They were in a box beside the 1st bacgammon game.
You know...I saw them, the blocks, and thought...I should have gotten them...
The Carnival Bowl 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
“Sound effects; why pay for them when you can make them yourself.” LOL Seriously, great finds!
I'm sayin' though...🤣
In Michigan sometime they wrap sometime they don’t BUT we still have bags
Oh no, they need to wrap at a minimum, thats crazy!!
I more often than not have to take not only my own bag BUT also newspaper or old sewing pattern paper to wrap stuff. Crazy...
Love the treasures you found plus enjoyed the live sale yesterday!

I really need to get those reusable bags!!!!
Awww the Michael laugh. It makes my day.
🥰🥰🥰
I really enjoy your videos. Great finds
Ahhhhh....I love little alarm clocks. Just do.
Hi. At 3:49 looked like a cup and saucer with MONTH on cup. I'm always on lookout for those. Watching video on phone so not sure.
I spotted 2 Precious Moments and did the old look up in the Goodwill the other day
That pitcher killed me I wanted it sooo bad.that color was favulous.
Those gold glasses looked like the glasses you would get in a box of powdered laundry detergent I can’t remember the name but use to have several of them
Great video!
I love how your goodwill is color coded, the ones near me are all over the place lol 😂 Nice finds Michael! 💕
Went to Goodwill in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago and they did not give out plastic bags - they didn't wrap either. Just handed the items back to you.
What? That's crazy!
They went "green" so no bags or wrap. I'm used to all the thrift stores running out of stuff so I just made it a habit to bring my own.
Lol... that’s like our local Goodwill & Salvation Army. They haven’t wrapped nor gave out bags in years! For awhile we could buy one but they don’t even carry anything but huge bags now. I bring my own but often forget.
Oh no...😬

Dang it!!! I should have gotten them...🥴🥴
I love your taste but even more I love your sense of humor! Peace
No plastic bags at Goodwill here in Washington state, and I ALWAYS forget to bring my own bag!!!
Your Goodwill has some great prices.
That was the exact same backgammon case I had! Actually, if I could remember where I put the games when I moved last, I probably still have it. I learned to play in the 70s.
Never have, God love my Gramm, she tried to teach me!
You are so much fun.
That green pitcher tho! 💚
Everybody loves a mushroom and a fairy some more than others.......I died....thanks
🤣😜🤣
Is Jump? like Quatum Leap? Also look for Knitties Afghans and such
I DO THE SAME! NEVER GET A CART UNTIL I FIND SOMETHING LOL
I love clear glass but I am picky and carnival glass picky there too lol
is there an app to find value and antiques in case we go shopping and we are not sure
You’re hilarious. Because of you I find myself saying I need “Crust, rusty and dusty!” when I’m thrifting and antiquing. I think I said it in one of my videos too 😂
🥰🙌🏽🥰
Just make sure your tetanus shot is updated 🤣
@@The.Cult.Of.Vintage haha! I’m up to date! So I’m ready! 😂
Lunch and T.C.O.V.😊❤️
As always, SUCH, an Honor!!! 😘😘
That's a 2/ way mirror too!!!!
Stalkers be stalking in the Goodwill!?! 🤣🤣
Those gold glasses were Duz Detergent glasses and prices vary but if you’d paid the $2, you’d have definitely made money on them with the right collector.
You have great taste!
Doesn't matter the quantity of items, it is the pieces you do bring out that count!
Preach Jo, preach!
That second case probably held poker chips. It could be used for anything if the insert came out.
How’d did you know it was Fenton carnival glass?
Did you look in the red Nike box ?
Ummmmm...I didn't even see it editing the video 😬
“Everyone loves a mushroom and a fairy, and some more than others.” 😂 🧚♀️🍄 I guess I’m one of those ‘others’ since I am also a vegetarian 🌱 🌈 😂
I can't with the mushrooms...more for you! 🤣😜
My goodwills stopped providing bags a couple years ago.
Around 15:05 was that a jadite saucer? Ahhhhh! 😄
You are so entertaining

Where I live in Canada plastic bags have been banned everywhere and I always forget to take reusable bags.
I'm in PA & they won't let us bring the forever bags in.
I mean, that makes sense and being a good steward is always important.
They should adopt a national policy and announce it.
@@samanthab1923 whaaaaa...crazy!!

Never knew...thank you for the tip!!
I was buy it, buy it for the backgammon game. You can resell it. Original from the Arabs countries.
The strawberries were Mccoy:)
Really...thanks for the info!
I had the canister set back in 1972-73!
that small cobalt vase is Murano..
Doesn’t Andrew from the Crazy Lamp Lady like Williamsburg stuff?
I think it's Gettysburg🤔
@@rikkemeek1506 now you say that I think you are correct.
