Amazing run! Seeing you die a few times, especially by the snakes in Stage 3, makes me feel A LOT better about hitting a wall in Stage 3, and I'm not routing or Breaking anywhere near as efficiently as you are. This was a joy to watch!
Kaze_Senshi Well since double breaks quadruple your current break-rate multiplier you essentially want to use double breaks as much as possible during the game. Preferably you do this during sections with tons of enemies and enemies that have a high base-value so that you can really cash-in during the duration of the break. The easiest way to figure out how and where to score is to of course watch a replay which is what the superplay DLC is for! The DLC also comes with a detailed list of the base-value for every enemy in the game and general strats on scoring.
Also note that instead of bomb stocks, you need a certain amount of break meter stocked up to bomb. The more you've done it on a life, the more you need.
+Near Sants A proper arcade stick (Hori, Madcatz, Qanba, etc.) with Japanese stick and buttons (Sanwa, Seimitsu, Hayabusa) is by far the best controller for shmups. Many hc-shmup players like Seimitsu sticks the best, but in the end of the day it's up to your own preferences.
It could have been a fantastic game if there was an intermediate difficulty, because while novice mode is fair and easily doable after a few runs, arcade mode difficulty is pure bullshit.
None of the explosions cover anything other than the background. All the enemies and bullets are drawn above the explosions, the game is never anything short of 100% clear what you're dodging. It looks chaotic while watching, but anyone who's played for more than five minutes can see that comment for the bullshit it is.
@@Oneiroclast I think they're referring to the distracting medals that come in the thousands. It's visual vomit that does make it hard to concentrate.

Even flowers explode.
FLOWERS.
Wait, I play on a switch and it has different music! The section at 13:00 has frantic piano.
Holy shit. That was freaking incredible what you did. I wish this game would get a PS5 port in the future as I totally forgot it had a Switch port.

This game is basically *what if Cave made Rayforce*
And this is what I love about it
RIP Bitrate
Local gaming magazine gave this game on disc (alongside with Deadpool). I love CD-Action ^_^
Dodonpachi+rayforce=this game
This game is $2.00 on Steam today.
That scores is a most increase trillion looks epic amazing.
Should I always use double break mode when I am playing for scoring?

I love your videos ... Can you tell me which is the best control to play shmups ? Xbox controllers ou Dualshocks(PS3)?

And if i want to build one with that buttons and stick?
What controller you play with mate? Looking at getting something other than the crappy joycons
Oh it’s the old Version not the switch one, never mind
i can't see anything lol
I have got some work to do to get a score that high (3T).
Yours runs so smoothly, mine stutters XD
I know this may be a bit late, but the game lags if windows has been running for too long. Restarting windows solves the problem
I...I need to practice...
Do it man! Clover is like one of the best in terms of training
Lol same
Does Break Mode power up your shots, or is it strictly for pumping up your score?
Break Mode does power up shots and lock-on weapons. Likewise, Double Break increases that power further.
@@joshdieckmann595 And also adds 2 extra options to the ship
Didn't even need that last extend.
That... third level I think it is? Reminds me of a level from a free game you played before on your channel
This game could use, idk, more stars...
Machine
this isnt shit I can pass the first stage with 2000 stars and only 5 continues
if i dont get 10x + combos from every enemy in the first level i reset
PLay this game for years on my arcade cabinet, my top score is 180.000.000.000, dude do 380.000.000.000 on stage one... I suck 😅

The only thing that makes this hard is the shit covering the screen.

@@Oneiroclast I'm a mega-noob but have to say I die the most when using Break mode cos I can't see the incoming fire so well.
