You seem to appreciate all the features this car offer, but at evaluation time, you score them very low, particularly the interiors, which are not bad at all, and technology (just because iCar needs to be wired). Anyhow, good and comprehensive review.
Yikes! I'm glad your not scoring me! I'd be 4/10. Well, my wife scores me 3/10, so the point would be appreciated. Love my used 2023 C40 Recharge Twin at $28! Wish it had a digital mirror since rear visibility is lacking. My biggest pet peeve is you push the shifter forward for R and pull back for D. I have to stop and think each time.
Best review on the C40/XC40 I have seen so 👍 Having been a petrolhead (Porsches, Audis, BMWs etc.) all my days I bought an XC40 Twin a few months ago and love it particularly the performance and One Pedal Drive. Only real downside is the price (and depreciation..)!
Lovely video. I went for the C40 due to the "less is more" feature set. > I < am the driver, not the software or computer. The ACC LETS you adjust the fan, but it doesn't require you to. Are you seriously evaluating a CAR by what entertainment software you can or can't install?
I have an Ioniq 5 and it also tends to drift when making sharper turns on secondary roads with ACC + lane centering on. Just wondering if other cars e.g. iX1 or Model 3 also have this issue on secondary roads? I saw you also tested their driving assist functions, but did not mention about performance on secondary roads. Thanks.
@@MartinLloyd-w1ucame from and still have my ‘22 JCW Countryman and M4 and thought the same. It took some time for me getting used to the quietness as I always loved the exhaust note on my cars. Today, the C40 is now my daily driver, it’s a blast! It’s fast! Gave the JCW to my son and M4 just sits in the garage. The C40 is now my preferred means of transportation.
We’ve had our EX30 Twin Motor Performance for over a month and love it. It’s their quickest Volvo to date and it sure feels it (3.4 to 60mph)
I am having it for a review next week. I can't wait!

Glad you enjoy the review and the car.
I think Volvo is doing really well with their EVs lately

Yes. Software is a big part of the user experience in my opinion.
@@TotallyElectricYes, agree. Less is more.
Very thorough review thank you. I love this car.
Thanks for the nice comment

Nice one. Youre getting some halfwit anti-EV trolls so must be on the up!
Good luck.
