You make such a difficult kata look easy to perform. Much respect to you on that. Pretty cool how you revealed some secrets embedded within the kata, the headbutt, the push, the throw, etc. How long have you been practicing this kata? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥋
Thanks Stan, yes the head but and back strikes. I imagine being held from behind and also a simultaneous assailant in front of me. Head but to the guy in front, and strike the guy at the rear also creating distance to escape.

I’ve been seeing recent versions of this kata where the chamber hand of the triple spear hand has the fingers pointing up. To me this is wrong. Anyone know who is teaching it this way?
I wish I could, my sensei actually taught me many years ago, but since then I've solely focused on my shotokan style. Hope to revisit it one day and perhaps put up a tutorial!

SKIF organization ends with neko ashi dachi. So it really depends on your school. Learning both ways is helpful too.
