- Remember Days Gone? Incredibly, as of the creation of this video, it’s been almost exactly half a decade since it originally released. Developed by Bend Studio, Days Gone was one of the final high profile 1st party exclusives for the PlayStation 4. After many years in development, the pressure was high for Bend to drop a game that made good on Sony’s huge financial investment. When it was finally released into the wild, Days Gone was ultimately met with mixed reviews and seemed to disappoint the powers that be. A sequel was shelved before ever leaving preproduction as key members of the development team began to depart the studio. Yes, the narrative of Days Gone’s existence seems to be gloomy at best, but the game itself has a very different story to tell.

I have been eyeing days gone on and off again. But I wonder if it delivers something new or if it's just very similar to what I have already played before. The latter would not necessarily be a worse thing, I like what I have played before and judging from the popularity of remasters I think many others do as well.
Let me know what you think if you give it a go! It's not hugely innovative in many of its elements, but it's quite good at what it does. I'd definitely recommend if you enjoy open world games!

Beautiful review that does justice to a game that's been done dirty - without concealing its flaws. I've expected no less. :) Boy, do I wish you'd get bombarded with subs so you have to amp up your output. But hey, quality over quantity!

I couldn't agree more man, I really wish I could up my output as well. I was able to do one a week for a little while there, but as I try to increase the quality and length, I'm struggling to maintain pace. Plus, life has just been so busy lately. If only I could justify trying this full time, haha! But, at least the channel has grown quite a bit lately!
I'm working on a video that I'm really excited about, it should be done in the next few days. It's pretty different from anything I've done so far. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

No I do not remember Days Gone. I just checked apparently I completed that game but I do no not remember any quest from this generic game (: cool video though!
