my first car, at 17, in the 70's was a used 74 datsun b210 hatchback, brown, tan interior, 4 speed. put on sears aluminum 5 slot rims, repainted the car black, chin spoiler, hatch louvers, hatch spoiler, sewed fabric in the seats from seat covers (no ac), double white stripe down sides anup over hatch, cut the shift knob down. don't downshift hard, the differential is weak. i did......crunch...crunch.....crunch
Just rescued a ‘78 from a farm. Sat for 15 years, but started right up. Surprised your clutch seems to be working. Great job bringing yours back to life
I bought a new 77 B-210 while in the Navy at age 19. I had it 8+ years and 160,000 miles, very reliable for a 70s car and no catalytic converter so used regular leaded gas. However I don't miss the frequent tuneups that were required, points and condenser, and manual timing adjustments, plugs every 5-6000 miles. The parts were cheap and I got it down to 30 minutes with experience.

I’ve heard they are pretty reliable cars, glad to hear another one got saved!
This has been a great series! Brings back memories of Datsuns we had when I was a kid.
I had the 78 B210 hatchback, in 83 I put a toggle switch for accesories and installed a light up button for a push to start car.

Congrats brother! You did it!
Wonderful keep going ❤
Nice bro keep it coming. Got a 79 Datsun 210 that I fixed up with all JDM parts n manual swap
Nice!!
I wonder how much better that Datsun would perform with a modern electronic ignition?
I had a 77 B210 cost $4100. I was 18, put 137k on it in 3yrs and traded it in for a Honda accord in 1980
Reverse is forward because it's a dogleg 5speed. These cars only came with that or the 4speed for manuals. The 3speed auto was terrible lol
I'd look for a name on the action figure some are worth thousands
