craftables are not better than amo's bow with ganyu, not a single one of them. Freeze Ganyu prefer's amo's bow because it gives both atk and damage. With melt ganyu you can make an argument for Aqua or First great magic, but it depends on the team and your crit ratio, the higher the investment the better amo's is. The average damage is always higher with Amo's with full stacks (and it's not that difficult, is almost always at full stacks, only with xiangling in team it's not at full stacks), also if the enemies have weak points is always better amo's because weak points grant 100% crit to charge shots if you hit them.
Exactly, once you've built some solid teams and you want to make them stronger, then it makes sense to get a better weapon if it significantly boosts them - if you'd rather pull one weapon for the potential cost of 2 characters, go for it. I prefer new characters tho lol

Indeed,staff of scarlet sands was always destined to be a top tier polearm,also neuvillette's signature catalyst,can be used on yanfei and wanderer if you play furina with them,HP draining from furina helps them stack the passive,it's amazing the dmg and the charged power you get
From my understanding Rizzly's weapon is also good for furina teams with main dps's that scale off attack. Its buff also buffs normal AND charged attack so it's more flexible.
I'd honestly argue that Jade Cutter is also S+ with Mist Splitter. 44% crit rate plus the extra attack you get from the passive actually go quite a long way for many DPS sword units to the point where it even competes with mist splitter for being 2nd BiS. Jade Cutter can basically be used on any sword unit and work amazingly.

Beacon is way underrated. Calling it niche is crazy. Crit substat and giving atk bonus are far from niche. The unshielded part is only for hp stat which is fine if you don't get the effect because you want the atk anyway. I mean putting it on A tier is fine because claymore users right now are mostly suck, but ain't no way it is below WGS

The team does not benefit from the atk buff or fail to snapshot the atk buff Of course there will be argument where WGS > Beacon with correct situation. As general weapon though, Beacon over WGS any day

That maybe deserve a Little more, but reality Is that Claymore atm are not that good in First place, so that Is why i think he put that on this tier, i mean: Just think About how many characters in a random account can benefit from a strong sword, a strong polearm or a strong catalyst. The ammount of characters that can benefit from Beacon are basically the same of Key of kynisut
Kaguras verity is so slept on, it’s my only 5 star catalyst and all my characters want it. I calc it against other options relatively often and it’s consistently based. Yae, heizou, yanfei, Lisa, nahida, I could go on!
jw is there much difference between lost prayers and kagura's verity cuz they both provide the same amount of stats (its just that lost prayers is crit rate) and eakes said kagua's verity was mainly good as a stat stick so i'm confused why there's such a massive difference between the weapons
@@log3ckert386 The weapon passive skills sometimes helps characters do wayyy more dmg than the main stat itself, so yea certain weapons are ranked higher based on that.
Dude is confusing, he’d praise one weapon then put it at a low tier but would put a weapon that he would say not versatility and doesn’t provide many effect on a high tier.
In terms of just raw power, it's the strongest bow in the game when the passive is maxed out. But I guess he rated it low because it's only usable on 3 characters. I would say it's S though

fun fact: weapon with high base atk always have lower substat & vice versa 5 star weapon with crit substat always have this distribution 674B.atk 44%CDM/22%CR 608B.atk 66%CDM/33%CR 542B.atk 88%CDM/44%CR Generally weapon with with high crit value substat is more versatile bcz lower base atk can be compensated by using bennet. If you are using high base atk weapon (on your dps) with bennet, it seems like a bit of a waste of high base atk. Correct me if Im wrong & sorry for my poor english

its not fun fact. its just fact XDD here is another fun fact is that Light of Foliar has 96.2% CV with worst passive XDD weapons with high crit are better if the passive is ok and with Beny However MAruchese did change that a bit cos you get 36% crit rate and + 44 CR extra would set you on 85 CR Also I did some math. 674 BA weapon have around 10% better dps with beny and 16%+ effect without compared to the same CV 542 weapon however 88 % crit weapon compared to 44% crit weapon on the same BA of 542 have around 20% more dmg on high crit char and around 25% on lower CV char. ofc its highly situatiional buffs but high crit are around 10 % better. which is not ofc 10% team dmg
I'd argue BotRS is the best claymore there is. High base attack (like WGS), a whopping 33.1% CRIT RATE, and an easily obtainable 40% attack bonus, HP is just a bonus. WGS is just stacking lots of attack% which can be obtained from a lot of external buffs and the conditional low HP trigger for enemies of the additional attack% is a bit useless and has a very long downtime unlike BotRS attack% buff that can be 100% uptime for low CD claymore users.
It would seem your description is exactly where he placed the claymore - Solid, yet niche. What you're pointing out are things that not many Claymore users will fully benefit from. But, as he said, for the ones that it does work for, it goes hard. So, it fits really well in the niche category.
Any weapon that has an "Hp increase/decrease" mechanic will automatically become viable so long as you have Furina on the team. So no, Neuvillette and Wriothesley signatures aren't as "niche" as you think. They can actually work on everyone. One has high crit dmg with mid base attack, the other has high base attack with decent crit rate. Yet another reason to pull for Furina, as if she wasn't a gamechanger on her own as it is. MH set + tome/cashflow = insane catalyst dps (Yanfei, Scaramouche, Ningguang, Lisa, etc etc).
While they are indeed viable with furina, the passives themselves aren't that great for most other catalyst user outside their signature user. Tome will most likely end up as a stat stick with bonus energy. Cashflow is a bit better since it has atk% and buffs both normal and charged allowing more characters to benefit from it, I think it beats wanderer's signature as his bis, or at least extremely competitive. The only character that gets decent use for both (outside of their signature user) is yanfei and klee. Other catalyst users have damage more skewed to skill/burst to consider pulling these weapon for them.

Aqua is bis or close to BIS for a ton of characters. Signficantly more than staff of homa --and characters like XL and raiden already get the catch for free (which is is close to same damage while being much easier to get the sub rolls to make viable). Similar story with beacon. Long story short beacon homa down a tier. aqua up a tier.
Glad you made this weapon tier list because I only possess four of the top categories of weapons on your list,; 1 Staff Of Homa, 1 Skyward Harp, 1 Tome Of Eternal, and 1 Skyward Blade.... I think I've done all right so far with the exception of not getting my hands on a Primordial Jade Cutter and an Elergy Of The End sadly lol
Personal thought (just my opinion) i do think elegy is highest value 5 star weapon in the game. and I think engulfing lightning is up there too bc of the amount of characters that can use it and how energy recharge effects your rotations and overall team damage
Light of Foliar is the thing that carries my Keqing. My artifacts are TRASH. But i got it on one pull and zero pity😅 it saved my life because i have just made my account it literally carried me out of the early game. I am pretty lucky on weapon banner i have Foliar Staff of Homa and Haran already ( I am not a whale i just buy welkins i am just lucky on my pulls😅)
Nvm the hp cuz no other character aside from dhya relies on hp. Big cr and base atk and boosts 20% atk if skill hits and if you are hit another 20% atk will be active
Highly disagree with Aqua's aq placement, Aqua is literally quite possibly the best 5 star weapon in the game. Staff of homa is overrated, should be in S tier. Beacon is underrated, it's the best all around claymore in the game. Edit: This guy put jade cutter in S tier. 😂😂😂 jade cutter is better than all the weapons in the s+ tier.
the way he describes the weapon stats is kind of misleading there's only 3 tiers for each weapon stats. high base atk = low 2ndary % stat mid base atk = mid 2ndary % stat low base atk = high 2ndary % stat ITS ALWAYS LIKE THAT. so Homa does not have a "very high crit dmg" 66, is the mid tier for CD, 88 is the "VERY HIGH". but ofc, Homa's base atk is mid, while weapons with 88cd has low base atk
mistsplitter over pjc????????? everyone wants to have high crit stats but not everyone wants to have high base attack : DDDDD. i would agree if we are in 2.0 but it's 4.0 and hoyoverse released tons of sword character that doesn't scale or benefit efficiently in attack. furina, nilou, and alhaitham to name a few.

As a dedicated F2P, I have not pulled a single limited 5-star weapon yet, but I plan to get Aqua Simulacra some day for my Yelan. One thing: when speaking about Widsith as a 4-star alternative for some limited 5-star weapons it should always be noted that it should be at least R3, but better R5, to actually compete with the 5 stars.
Not saying that pulling for her weapon is super bad, but depending on which team you play, fav can still be a better option since it solves many energy problems for her and/or the team 👍 If it's for a team without energy issues, or for aesthetics, great choice
i think lost prayers is kind of slept on its pretty fantastic for any on field catalyst. so that includes wriothesley, wanderer, heizou, klee, i use it alot on nahida. the problem with widsith is it has a 30 second CD and its random. on some characters the EM is a dead stat same for the attack. key is also really good on kuki and if you don't have favonia or mist its pretty fantastic for bennet. bennet with his low CD E can build the stacks pretty quickly and you can build him for HP as a healer.
I actually have a staff of homa collecting dust because Hu Tao never came home and meanwhile Xiangling needs the ER from the catch, Rosaria needs the ER from the skyward spine, Raiden needs the extra CR from the jade and the others supports like Yao Yao or Yunjin want the favonius lance. I was hoping to give it to Chevreuse but they didn't include her on the Navia banner. I also got Amos bow collecting dust because rust R5 works better with Yoimiya and I think the stringless works better with Fischl
Please rank dps. To a new player when I first researched tierlists, I didn’t know I invested in only the best supports and not actual damage-doers haha
Engulfing Lightning is not even versatile and the character who uses are mostly Xiangling and Raiden who can pretty much get done with a Catch so it should be A(niche tier not S)
I agree with everything except Amos bow, the difference is a lot between Aqua and Amos, I have almost all bows and I tried them with Ganyu, but the damage with Amos bow on Ganyu is significantly higher than Aqua/Polar Star/ Hunter's Path/ The Great Magic. Good video btw
I agree with ya. I've been running hyper ganyu / melt teams forever and compared to thundering pulse and skyward harp (my other two 5 star bows) amos on ganyu outperforms both. I've tested it personally. It's not a small difference either, there is a minimum 20% difference in damage
@maximus574 exactly, mostly streamers don't even compare the weapons just theoretically decides what's good & whats bad & tbh this is very misleading to the new genshin players who constantly look for guides etc and when they see their favorite character not doing good, they get motivated.

god Kokomi and Baizhu's weapons just really annoy me, like come on these are healers, like their weapons just boost their own damage and not their teammates. like can we get one support weapon where we buff the teams damage and not the user, like elegy is the example of a good support weapon and key despite being niche is better than the donuts.
Thanks, Eakes! I'm at the point now where I've built my account as horizontally as I want - I have like 65/80 characters, and while I don't have all the META characters, I have everyone I want. Now I want to build vertically: constellations on the 5* characters who need it/benefit from it, and some signature weapons. Really glad to have this analysis. Plus now I know how to make Zhongli "drop 100K meatballs". I always thought his burst should do more damage... now I know how. :)
Aquila favonia is a weird sword. It's in standard, so you can eventually get it like all other standard 5stars. And it's only really good on one character, but that one character is really good. alot of people are also undervaluing the healing that it gives to your character, with hoyo giving more aggressive enemies, you can definitely feel its effects vs not running it. I would personally put it at niche weapon, just cause it's really good on bennett, and bennett himself is a really good character which works in a lot of teams. Watch zajeff and his tierlist about standard weapons, i pretty much agree on what he has to say about this weapon.
I'm usually all about general usefulness/flexibility/total account value, and yet the only time I ever pulled on the weapon banner was for Neuvillette's moist-ass book. I'm fine rocking 4 star weapons 99% of the time, but MY KING DESERVES HIS SUPER NICHE, NOBODY ELSE WANTS THIS THING BUT HYDRO FATHER GETS WHATEVER WHAT HE WANTS drippy weapon.
I literally spent $200 on furina weapon banner and I got the donut first time with the first hundred dollars and the sword the second time. I agree the donut is useless, I use sac frag on barbara bc of the EM and her skill has long cooldown. It sits benched or I will melt it down. The sword sits on my vape nilou but her hp is low like 36k with 80cr/180cd and 200 EM. I literally spent $330 on the current weapon banner and got staff of scarlet sands, skyward spine, and Haran with each time I spent money. The spine sits on xiangling, staff will be maybe for yaoyao when I get her during lantern rite. The haran sits on Layla bc it matches her clothing. Maybe I will buy Ayaka since she could potentially use it. I have a guarenteed limited five star in 10 wishes so I have enough for her and her skin. I also have R2 Jade spear so that can go to raiden when I dolphin on her and get her C2 or it can go to yaoyao since it is green and matches her turnips. I am saving up my paychecks and am about to drop ~$300 on raiden banner. I also use cash flow supervision on nahida bc I was trying to get elegy for yelan since she is on my bloom team but I lucked out. I honestly don’t like wishing for characters anymore. I just need better weapons for everyone.
Weapon banner is usually a scam, but I’ve got so lucky I’m 3/3 in like only 100 or so wishes total. Makes up for losing almost all normal 50/50s I guess😂
so kagura's verity is great as a stat stick but not much else and that gets it to high A tier but lost prayers is bad even though its the same stat stick as kagura's verity also the passive can be pretty useful for catalysts that want to stay on field for a while other than one having 33 crit rate and the other having 66 crit damage im confused on whats the difference here (its the same crit value)
Ikr I've seen his older 5* weapon ranks and just like this one he shits on lost prayer😂 but man the passive is not useless at all for an on-field dps and and the base attack is high with that 33% crit rate it's just perfect. I used lost prayer on my neuvi and it works great on him
@@izham73 i mean its an elemental damage boost, while its really small id say the passive is more useful for most catalyst dps's than the skill damage boost from kagura's (only lisa and yae can get enough stacks to get more out of the kagura's passive)
i got a lost prayer off the standard banner or something and honestly i use it way more than you'd think its a really good stat stick >_> Its one of those weapons thats not gonna be the best on anyone but it WILL be great on everyone who can use it.
legit went for Xiao’s sig wep one time cuz i rlly wanted him to have a 5 star wep since his release but got calamity queller instead. extra stupid for doing this but i went another round thinking i was still on the wep banner to still get pwjs but i was really on shenhe’s banner and got her too 🤣
I will note, that Freedom sword boost ATK aswell. The Eledgy boost ATK and EM and both effects doesn't stack. The Alhaitham sword is also good on C6 Kazuha when doing full em with crit subs.

Opposite for me. F2p, got Hu Tao, love her and wanted to max her so I went for her weapon. Got tome instead, don't really mind for now since I'll for Neuvillette and might also get cyno's weapon
Skyward Harp one of the most flexible weapons. So glad I lucked into it. I use it on Fischl. I recently landed stringless, but until I start building another bow character (sorry Amber) I’ll keep Skyward Harp on Fischl.
This video convinced me to do a cheeky 10 pull on this weapon banner, and I got both Staff of Scarlet Sands and Haran, never again will I even have this much luck. Should have saved it for shogun lol.
I got the boat peddle or oars polearm for more precise wording instead of Harran, I was so pissed but I used it on Xiangling and never complained again, I also got Engulfing so my Rational team is popping off like crazy, if I get C2 Raiden cause I also got her C1 I think i would kill floor 12 faster than any of my teams. Weapon banners were crazy good as of recently I hope Genshin go with this energy in future
When the Elegy, Homa and Mistsplitter are the second weapon on the banner it's always good to pull. These weapons will do more for your account than any C1
c1 Furina looking this 0.0 I agree weapons are good but some of them are overestimated, the fact that i have mistsplitter and staff of homa and barely use any of them because my team doesnt need them, i lack more in cons like c1-2 Furina, like c1 Neuvilette, like c1-2 Nahida, c2 Nilou etc etc etc So, tha fact that some c's are way better than more expensive weapons (knowing the fact that guaranteed c1 costs 180 wishes and a guaranteed weapon costs 240 wishes) kinda invalidates your argument

I have two Homas and r2 Elegy I can tell you they've done so much for my account. I'm advocating pulling on banners where you would like either weapon. Brings you down to 160 wishes on a bad day. I'm pulling the next banner because I'm already pulling for Navia so will be happy with either weapon. They can also be the difference between a viable and non viable 4 star. Noelle in Furina teams with the Redhorn StoneThresher really does get the job done

I just prefer horizontal investment over vertical because I like playing with lots of teams and getting a few weapons here and there really enables that. But yeah if you can only see yourself playing Nuev, Raiden and Furina teams. Get the cons over the weapon. TBH as a c0 Nuev owner with the BP weapon I think he's underwhelming. If there was a con over weapon it would be him. His weapon just isn't all that good or transferable (except Wanderer). Yes to your other point, I pulled Engulfing Lighting for the drip as well so I didn't have to take the catch off XL.
Fun fact, i got xiaos weapon in a wierd way. I lost 50% while pulling for him. Never hapened again, his banner must have buged out. Every other 5* weapon i have is standard ones. Only time i actualy pulled on weapon banner was when i started playing genshin with intention to get my first 5* weapon (sky something sword)

I think it's deserved considering wgs gives atk buff for the entire team instead of just the user.

1. The user need to hit an enemy while on-field and need enemy to be below 30% hp (and 30s cd)
2. The team does not benefit from the atk buff or fail to snapshot the atk buff
Of course there will be argument where WGS > Beacon with correct situation. As general weapon though, Beacon over WGS any day

That maybe deserve a Little more, but reality Is that Claymore atm are not that good in First place, so that Is why i think he put that on this tier, i mean: Just think About how many characters in a random account can benefit from a strong sword, a strong polearm or a strong catalyst. The ammount of characters that can benefit from Beacon are basically the same of Key of kynisut

Kaguras verity is so slept on, it’s my only 5 star catalyst and all my characters want it. I calc it against other options relatively often and it’s consistently based. Yae, heizou, yanfei, Lisa, nahida, I could go on!
jw is there much difference between lost prayers and kagura's verity
cuz they both provide the same amount of stats (its just that lost prayers is crit rate)

Generally weapon with with high crit value substat is more versatile bcz lower base atk can be compensated by using bennet. If you are using high base atk weapon (on your dps) with bennet, it seems like a bit of a waste of high base atk. Correct me if Im wrong & sorry for my poor english

weapons with high crit are better if the passive is ok and with Beny
However MAruchese did change that a bit cos you get 36% crit rate and + 44 CR extra would set you on 85 CR
Also I did some math.
674 BA weapon have around 10% better dps with beny and 16%+ effect without compared to the same CV 542 weapon
however 88 % crit weapon compared to 44% crit weapon on the same BA of 542 have around 20% more dmg on high crit char and around 25% on lower CV char.
ofc its highly situatiional buffs but high crit are around 10 % better. which is not ofc 10% team dmg

I'd argue BotRS is the best claymore there is. High base attack (like WGS), a whopping 33.1% CRIT RATE, and an easily obtainable 40% attack bonus, HP is just a bonus. WGS is just stacking lots of attack% which can be obtained from a lot of external buffs and the conditional low HP trigger for enemies of the additional attack% is a bit useless and has a very long downtime unlike BotRS attack% buff that can be 100% uptime for low CD claymore users.
It would seem your description is exactly where he placed the claymore - Solid, yet niche. What you're pointing out are things that not many Claymore users will fully benefit from. But, as he said, for the ones that it does work for, it goes hard. So, it fits really well in the niche category.
Any weapon that has an "Hp increase/decrease" mechanic will automatically become viable so long as you have Furina on the team. So no, Neuvillette and Wriothesley signatures aren't as "niche" as you think. They can actually work on everyone. One has high crit dmg with mid base attack, the other has high base attack with decent crit rate.
Yet another reason to pull for Furina, as if she wasn't a gamechanger on her own as it is. MH set + tome/cashflow = insane catalyst dps (Yanfei, Scaramouche, Ningguang, Lisa, etc etc).
While they are indeed viable with furina, the passives themselves aren't that great for most other catalyst user outside their signature user.
Tome will most likely end up as a stat stick with bonus energy.
Cashflow is a bit better since it has atk% and buffs both normal and charged allowing more characters to benefit from it, I think it beats wanderer's signature as his bis, or at least extremely competitive.
The only character that gets decent use for both (outside of their signature user) is yanfei and klee. Other catalyst users have damage more skewed to skill/burst to consider pulling these weapon for them.

Aqua is bis or close to BIS for a ton of characters. Signficantly more than staff of homa --and characters like XL and raiden already get the catch for free (which is is close to same damage while being much easier to get the sub rolls to make viable). Similar story with beacon. Long story short beacon homa down a tier. aqua up a tier.

Glad you made this weapon tier list because I only possess four of the top categories of weapons on your list,; 1 Staff Of Homa, 1 Skyward Harp, 1 Tome Of Eternal, and 1 Skyward Blade.... I think I've done all right so far with the exception of not getting my hands on a Primordial Jade Cutter and an Elergy Of The End sadly lol
Personal thought (just my opinion) i do think elegy is highest value 5 star weapon in the game. and I think engulfing lightning is up there too bc of the amount of characters that can use it and how energy recharge effects your rotations and overall team damage

Light of Foliar is the thing that carries my Keqing. My artifacts are TRASH. But i got it on one pull and zero pity😅 it saved my life because i have just made my account it literally carried me out of the early game. I am pretty lucky on weapon banner i have Foliar Staff of Homa and Haran already ( I am not a whale i just buy welkins i am just lucky on my pulls😅)

Nvm the hp cuz no other character aside from dhya relies on hp. Big cr and base atk and boosts 20% atk if skill hits and if you are hit another 20% atk will be active

Staff of homa is overrated, should be in S tier. Beacon is underrated, it's the best all around claymore in the game.

there's only 3 tiers for each weapon stats.
high base atk = low 2ndary % stat
mid base atk = mid 2ndary % stat
low base atk = high 2ndary % stat

so Homa does not have a "very high crit dmg" 66, is the mid tier for CD, 88 is the "VERY HIGH". but ofc, Homa's base atk is mid, while weapons with 88cd has low base atk
mistsplitter over pjc????????? everyone wants to have high crit stats but not everyone wants to have high base attack : DDDDD. i would agree if we are in 2.0 but it's 4.0 and hoyoverse released tons of sword character that doesn't scale or benefit efficiently in attack. furina, nilou, and alhaitham to name a few.

As a dedicated F2P, I have not pulled a single limited 5-star weapon yet, but I plan to get Aqua Simulacra some day for my Yelan. One thing: when speaking about Widsith as a 4-star alternative for some limited 5-star weapons it should always be noted that it should be at least R3, but better R5, to actually compete with the 5 stars.
Not saying that pulling for her weapon is super bad, but depending on which team you play, fav can still be a better option since it solves many energy problems for her and/or the team 👍
If it's for a team without energy issues, or for aesthetics, great choice

i think lost prayers is kind of slept on its pretty fantastic for any on field catalyst. so that includes wriothesley, wanderer, heizou, klee, i use it alot on nahida. the problem with widsith is it has a 30 second CD and its random. on some characters the EM is a dead stat same for the attack. key is also really good on kuki and if you don't have favonia or mist its pretty fantastic for bennet. bennet with his low CD E can build the stacks pretty quickly and you can build him for HP as a healer.
I actually have a staff of homa collecting dust because Hu Tao never came home and meanwhile Xiangling needs the ER from the catch, Rosaria needs the ER from the skyward spine, Raiden needs the extra CR from the jade and the others supports like Yao Yao or Yunjin want the favonius lance.
I was hoping to give it to Chevreuse but they didn't include her on the Navia banner.
I also got Amos bow collecting dust because rust R5 works better with Yoimiya and I think the stringless works better with Fischl
time to pull out the Book of Eakes to record everything I've learned from this new bangin tier list

Engulfing Lightning is not even versatile and the character who uses are mostly Xiangling and Raiden who can pretty much get done with a Catch so it should be A(niche tier not S)
I agree with everything except Amos bow, the difference is a lot between Aqua and Amos, I have almost all bows and I tried them with Ganyu, but the damage with Amos bow on Ganyu is significantly higher than Aqua/Polar Star/ Hunter's Path/ The Great Magic.

I agree with ya. I've been running hyper ganyu / melt teams forever and compared to thundering pulse and skyward harp (my other two 5 star bows) amos on ganyu outperforms both. I've tested it personally. It's not a small difference either, there is a minimum 20% difference in damage
@maximus574 exactly, mostly streamers don't even compare the weapons just theoretically decides what's good & whats bad & tbh this is very misleading to the new genshin players who constantly look for guides etc and when they see their favorite character not doing good, they get motivated.

god Kokomi and Baizhu's weapons just really annoy me, like come on these are healers, like their weapons just boost their own damage and not their teammates. like can we get one support weapon where we buff the teams damage and not the user, like elegy is the example of a good support weapon and key despite being niche is better than the donuts.

I'm at the point now where I've built my account as horizontally as I want - I have like 65/80 characters, and while I don't have all the META characters, I have everyone I want. Now I want to build vertically: constellations on the 5* characters who need it/benefit from it, and some signature weapons. Really glad to have this analysis.
Plus now I know how to make Zhongli "drop 100K meatballs". I always thought his burst should do more damage... now I know how. :)

I use Amos Bow on my Tighnari and was able to clear floor 12 with 36 stars. Not exactly doo doo.
Aquila favonia is a weird sword. It's in standard, so you can eventually get it like all other standard 5stars. And it's only really good on one character, but that one character is really good. alot of people are also undervaluing the healing that it gives to your character, with hoyo giving more aggressive enemies, you can definitely feel its effects vs not running it.
I would personally put it at niche weapon, just cause it's really good on bennett, and bennett himself is a really good character which works in a lot of teams.
Watch zajeff and his tierlist about standard weapons, i pretty much agree on what he has to say about this weapon.

I'm usually all about general usefulness/flexibility/total account value, and yet the only time I ever pulled on the weapon banner was for Neuvillette's moist-ass book. I'm fine rocking 4 star weapons 99% of the time, but MY KING DESERVES HIS SUPER NICHE, NOBODY ELSE WANTS THIS THING BUT HYDRO FATHER GETS WHATEVER WHAT HE WANTS drippy weapon.

I pulled on mistsplitter out of boredom today, can't say i regret it
I literally spent $200 on furina weapon banner and I got the donut first time with the first hundred dollars and the sword the second time. I agree the donut is useless, I use sac frag on barbara bc of the EM and her skill has long cooldown. It sits benched or I will melt it down. The sword sits on my vape nilou but her hp is low like 36k with 80cr/180cd and 200 EM. I literally spent $330 on the current weapon banner and got staff of scarlet sands, skyward spine, and Haran with each time I spent money. The spine sits on xiangling, staff will be maybe for yaoyao when I get her during lantern rite. The haran sits on Layla bc it matches her clothing. Maybe I will buy Ayaka since she could potentially use it. I have a guarenteed limited five star in 10 wishes so I have enough for her and her skin. I also have R2 Jade spear so that can go to raiden when I dolphin on her and get her C2 or it can go to yaoyao since it is green and matches her turnips. I am saving up my paychecks and am about to drop ~$300 on raiden banner. I also use cash flow supervision on nahida bc I was trying to get elegy for yelan since she is on my bloom team but I lucked out. I honestly don’t like wishing for characters anymore. I just need better weapons for everyone.

Weapon banner is usually a scam, but I’ve got so lucky I’m 3/3 in like only 100 or so wishes total. Makes up for losing almost all normal 50/50s I guess😂
so kagura's verity is great as a stat stick but not much else and that gets it to high A tier
but lost prayers is bad even though its the same stat stick as kagura's verity
also the passive can be pretty useful for catalysts that want to stay on field for a while

Ikr I've seen his older 5* weapon ranks and just like this one he shits on lost prayer😂 but man the passive is not useless at all for an on-field dps and and the base attack is high with that 33% crit rate it's just perfect. I used lost prayer on my neuvi and it works great on him
@@izham73 i mean its an elemental damage boost, while its really small id say the passive is more useful for most catalyst dps's than the skill damage boost from kagura's (only lisa and yae can get enough stacks to get more out of the kagura's passive)

Thundering Pulse is also great on Childe. Only a percent or two behind his signature, so the weapon is slightly more versatile than it seems.
Key is god tier for Kuki, nilou, Layla, etc plus gives team wide EM at the very least it should be in very strong category
legit went for Xiao’s sig wep one time cuz i rlly wanted him to have a 5 star wep since his release but got calamity queller instead. extra stupid for doing this but i went another round thinking i was still on the wep banner to still get pwjs but i was really on shenhe’s banner and got her too 🤣

I will note, that Freedom sword boost ATK aswell. The Eledgy boost ATK and EM and both effects doesn't stack.
The Alhaitham sword is also good on C6 Kazuha when doing full em with crit subs.
I am saving right now for wrios signature so hopefully his banner has some good 4 stars as well
Skyward spine should be lower imo, I have it at lv90 R3 and the catch does better than any character I put it on.

Opposite for me. F2p, got Hu Tao, love her and wanted to max her so I went for her weapon. Got tome instead, don't really mind for now since I'll for Neuvillette and might also get cyno's weapon
Skyward Harp one of the most flexible weapons. So glad I lucked into it. I use it on Fischl. I recently landed stringless, but until I start building another bow character (sorry Amber) I’ll keep Skyward Harp on Fischl.
This video convinced me to do a cheeky 10 pull on this weapon banner, and I got both Staff of Scarlet Sands and Haran, never again will I even have this much luck. Should have saved it for shogun lol.

I got the boat peddle or oars polearm for more precise wording instead of Harran, I was so pissed but I used it on Xiangling and never complained again, I also got Engulfing so my Rational team is popping off like crazy, if I get C2 Raiden cause I also got her C1 I think i would kill floor 12 faster than any of my teams. Weapon banners were crazy good as of recently I hope Genshin go with this energy in future
When the Elegy, Homa and Mistsplitter are the second weapon on the banner it's always good to pull. These weapons will do more for your account than any C1

I agree weapons are good but some of them are overestimated, the fact that i have mistsplitter and staff of homa and barely use any of them because my team doesnt need them, i lack more in cons like c1-2 Furina, like c1 Neuvilette, like c1-2 Nahida, c2 Nilou etc etc etc
So, tha fact that some c's are way better than more expensive weapons (knowing the fact that guaranteed c1 costs 180 wishes and a guaranteed weapon costs 240 wishes) kinda invalidates your argument

I have two Homas and r2 Elegy I can tell you they've done so much for my account. I'm advocating pulling on banners where you would like either weapon. Brings you down to 160 wishes on a bad day. I'm pulling the next banner because I'm already pulling for Navia so will be happy with either weapon. They can also be the difference between a viable and non viable 4 star. Noelle in Furina teams with the Redhorn StoneThresher really does get the job done

I just prefer horizontal investment over vertical because I like playing with lots of teams and getting a few weapons here and there really enables that. But yeah if you can only see yourself playing Nuev, Raiden and Furina teams. Get the cons over the weapon. TBH as a c0 Nuev owner with the BP weapon I think he's underwhelming. If there was a con over weapon it would be him. His weapon just isn't all that good or transferable (except Wanderer). Yes to your other point, I pulled Engulfing Lighting for the drip as well so I didn't have to take the catch off XL.
