He missed the Star Wars reference in the first lego Indiana Jones game. Luke was stuck in the roof of a ice cave, it is a reference to Luke stuck in the ceiling of the Wompa cave in The Empire Strikes Back.
There were other Star Wars characters to find as well in order to unlock Han Solo (yes he was playable, much like indie was in Complete Saga) but he missed the C-3PO head in Indie 1, which was kinda shocking

Lego Indiana Jones 2 is an underrated masterpiece
like Indy meets the entire melinium falcon crew in the first game
Reminds me of the achievement you get in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for playing as both Captain America and Human Torch, since they're both played by Chris Evans lol
Also, when old Han Solo was about to shoot the stormtrooper with the electric baton, it was a reference to raiders when the fancy swordsman shows up and Indy just shoots him.
It happened earlier in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Indiana Jones was an unlockable character to reference the then upcoming lego Indiana Jones game.

I feel like I remember reading about a comic where a han solo found Indiana Jones skeleton during a jump to another world. If that's really the case than there's a chance of these two universes being connected even outside of Lego.

I found this out a few days ago. Apparently the only reason that han solo was carbonated was because of the sucsess of Indiana Jones and George Lucas didn't think he would have time for star wars

I have the two indiana jones games and the conplete saga (star wars). I always loved the detail. Also, in indiana jones 1 the lego game. Han Solo is a purchasable caracter. And in one of the lego games indiana jones is there as a purchasable caracter if I'm not wrong
This means that all of this is canon to our universe, as Star Wars is set in our universe (a long time ago IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY)

Like I know the Skywalker Saga has a few Indy references, such as the Ark of the Covenant you can discover in “Reap what you Solo” and brief Blink & you’ll miss it, cameo by his iconic Fedora in the Tantive IV mission when you open the Airlock, but I wish they had more nods to Harrison Ford’s other iconic Adventurer, or even added him as a secret character like the older Lego Star Wars & Indiana Jones games. And tbh, it would’ve been just as cool if they did something similar for Mark Hamill… like imagine if they added a secret character of Hamill’s other most famous character… the Joker. Imagine an interaction between Luke & the Joker. But oh well. The Skywalker Saga was still a great Lego game.
But then again, it makes sense about the latter, as Star Wars is owned by Disney whilst The Joker/ DC is Warner Bros.

actually very interesting, cause in one star wars what if comic, han solo and chewbacca crash the millennium falcon on earth and han dies, about 100 years later, indiana jones discovers the falcon, and iirc there was something about chewbacca being the sasquatch
