Adam West talks about Lookwell TV pilot with Conan O'Brien

In 1991, long before Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel wrote a pilot for a television show about a former TV action hero who can't let go of his fictional past. O'Brien, who went on to "Late Night" and "Tonight Show" fame, and Smigel, who created Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, wrote the lead part specifically for Adam West, known for his 1960s role as Batman.
In a March 2013 interview with seattlepi.com, West said "Lookwell" is the favorite of the 12 television pilots he's done and called it "the funniest pilot that never got sold."
